To join this roleplay, you need to have two things. An appropriate name for your character and a a physical description of your character not to be less than 30 words and not to exceed 300. These descriptions shall consist of a purely physical description of your character and all weapons, nothing more an nothing less. Any personality traits or background information will get you immediately disqualified.

To continue in this roleplay, you must spellcheck your posts in some manner, have a grasp of either American or English grammar, and to roleplay. If you do not roleplay, and instead create the same bullshit in nearly every other current RP in these forums, you will be kicked out. Other then that, have fun. Here's the background and my character:

Veritas is a large kingdom on the northern end of the continent. Even it's rulers admit it is corrupt. It currently fields one of the largest armies in the world, and some of the most capable holy men in Byzitoch, next to Hectonarch. The only other nearby power worth mentioning is Hectonarch, directly to the east of Veritas. They have been clashing for centuries. Vertias traditionally has a better infantry, while Hectonarch is the recognized leader of cavalry. Their priests and magi are about equally matched. Hectonarch is a just and true realm, but has some corruption on the fringes just as Veritas has some goodness. Both are lead by their ultimate holy men.

Name: Belelosaurs.
Description: One of the largest men in the Hectonarch army, much less the ranks of its magi, he stands well over 6 feet and has the strength of many men. He wears the traditional clothes of the desert, open but completely covering clothes and a thin cover for his eyes, all dyed the deep blue and red hues of the magi caste. He carries a very large quarterstaff, which is taller then him and as thick as his massive legs. It is painted again the purple and red hues of the magi and has iron plates on the ends with bands running down its sides. He also carries a crossbow which only he can fire and bolt that are twice the normal size, with red and purple hues pained in bands around the bolts.

Name: Arcbourn

Physical Description: Arcbourn is roughly 6 feet tall and weighs almost 135 pounds. He has white hair and a blue goatee and is very tall and lean looking. He is dressed in long black robes that offer him protection from magical effects. Arcbourn always carrys a long bone staff with a glowing orb of fire on it. Arcbourn also carrys 2 silver Sais, very light ninja weapons from his younger years.

Name: Dolomal

Physical Description: Dolomal hails from Veritas and is one of the high priests. He wears dark robes that flow around him fluidly, blending into his dark physique, eyes, and pitch black hair. To many he looks like a shadow transformed into a human being. Others allow him to ignore the usual clothing because of his experience. He carries a wooden staff dyed pitch black with an orb that reveals the only colour on him with swirls of flourescent blue.

Name: Carictus.

Description: Carictus stands at a respectable 6'1". He has shoulder-long brown hair that he keeps well groomed. He has grey eyes, but they are far from dull, seeing as they are flecked with blue and black. He is lean, muscular, and an nearly always be seen with his faithful horse - Stormwind. Stormwind is a large warhorse, mean by nature to all but Carictus.

Name: Plutares
Description: Plutares hails from Veritas, and is very well conditioned and toughened up from previous battles and extreme phsyical training. He always wears his battleworn iron armour and his large round shield. He carries a long spear made of oak, topped with a very high-quality iron tip, with a bronze tip on the bottom, if the spear broke. He also has a gladius in case his spear is too unwieldy. Years of battle have given a very well-tanned look, with scars abound his face and body.

Name: Amplus Parvulus

Physical Description: Very, very, large.... Extremely large, in fact. He stands at 7' 2" and weighs in at over 500 pounds. Amplus has a round face and a soft complexion, with brown eyes and fairly long black hair. His eyes are slightly slanted and his skin looks generally tanned, even if he hasn't been out in the sun. Although he might be a little bit overweight, he's still very strong, and not many men would want to piss him off.

Weapon: Friggin big metal club, spikes cover the last two and a half feet of it. Made of steel or the equivalent thereof, soft leather wrapped handle, baseball-bat-like bump at the end.

EDIT: I forgot muh weapon... stupid son of a one eyed, three toed sloth that I am.

Everyone is at this battle. Consider it a place to flesh your characters and this world out. A testing ground, so to speak. Unless I tell you no beforehand, don't feel afraid to post or to make major changes in the battle, to invent ranks and stations, or names and places.

Belelosaurs turned away from his compatriots in the sweat tent and began walking to the leader of this expedition, the omsflaut Haijek. He began to consider how best to phrase his message when he felt a barrage of magic coming from the Veritian Priests. He did a fast invocation and bright light flashed off to his right. One man was maimed, another had a line of red glowing thread across him from his left shoulder to his right hip. Belelosaurs could do nothing more than watch as the string exploded, ripping the man to shreds, except for a partially intact lower leg. He canceled the invocation and moved on without another glance.

He reached Haijek just as the great ranks of Magi threw a barrage at the Priests, carful to target non-magical officers and the Priests themselves. He greeted the soldier on duty, a large man like himself, and moved on in to Haijek's inner tent. A servant there told him that Haijek was currently having a bath at the doctor's orders from his wound last week. The man could be revolting sometimes - no sweat tent for him, be bathed in water, like those heathen Veritians. He decided against his better judgement to wait while Haijek finished his bath.

Name: Charc Klesser
Height: 7' 4''
Wheight: 250
Descritiption: Black hair, black eyes, muscular tanned body. His hair is just in an average haircut, and his body is slightly tanned. He is very muscular and big. Not fat big, tall big. He also has along grey cloak flowing behind him. The cloak is about 5 feet long. he has pointed eyebrows and deep eyes. His face is almost square shaped. He has a larger forhead then most people and his legs are longer then his torso (upper body).
Gender: Male
Weapons: A 4' 3'' long metal poled pike with large 1 foot steel points on each end (a total of 6' 3'' long). Light steel armor, and a large 3 foot tall triangle shaped steel shield. He also has a 1 foot long dagger for close range fighting.

The large, wooden gates flung open as three heavily robed figures rushed in to disturb a hunched figure translating documents. The hunched figure was clad in dark robes, swirling around in a ceaseless manner.

"Dolomal! We... come. Now. There is something we must show you." The figure slowly rose, almost fading in with the darkness around the table. He moved swiftly and silently out the door, moving without a trace of sound or step. The black figure brushed passed the other two priests and walked out the door onto the balcony.

Noise assaulted the ears. The ground quivered with monstrosities of all sorts, clashing in deafening battle on the ground. So much blood had spilt that the bright red had stained the grass, leaving nothing that resembled life behind. Dolomal shook his head.

"So. It has begun."

(ooc) I shall post my opening post tomorrow. i gotta ask, waht is this RP about? is it a war RP? like we are just one man among hundreds fighting huge battles? or is it some sort of mission thing where we are groups of people trying to acomplish something, or what?
