So, looking around this Forum. Well, it gave me an Idea. Now Geno and Ice i know this is not an RP but i think here is a good place to duiscuss it. I think we should have a limit on the number of RP's running at one time and put this in the RP thread of Geno's. Beacause it seems that alot of them never get off the ground. I saw a post in the Diplo board that set a limit and I think that will work here too so that we don't get "Burn out"
well? what do people think?

Limit on RP's? I think not...As long as there are competent people for RP's, Rp's shall flow forth from the embodyied imagination of man.

There should be no limits on RP's in the forum as long as we have enough people to play them. The amount of players itself will automatically limit the amount of RP's.
(removed color as well, only us mods have the ability to do it :D)

lol, you cant blame me for trying. I was just asking because it seems like alot of them burn out quickly. People join and then leave quick or sumthing.....

As Black.Ice said, the number of players will limit the number of RPs. While I do agree that this forum has practically exploded with new RPs of late, that trend will soon end and it will level off as people stop joining new ones.
I don't see why you mention me. It's Black.Ice's area now, not mine.
But I still say no limits. There's not always an RP for everyone. Currently, only one RP is drawing my interest, and it's not open yet (Everyone's RP). No limits allows people to get creative. Only their time is the restriction. We shouldn't place a restriction down if people can fulfill it.

I say no limits but i think the RP idea should be submitted to a mod first so that the person can be sure that they have all the affairs in order, clear backstory, character sheet, etc...... so we dont end up writing the persons RP for them, then playing it, i think that will clear up some of the useless threads in here cause i have noticed some people coming in and saying two sentences then have fun without a set of rules, char sheet or clear history with it

I like your idea, but let me modify it slightly.
How about we make it so new GM's have to submit their RP Ideas to a GM who has extensive experience in RP'ing or GM'ing (most likely any of those who have their names on the Master RP Thread)
Comments, Suggestions to this?

We don't want to push new members out. Posting it in a thread is better for many reasons.
First, it offers a wider base than just one person. I could very well say one thing, but Black.Ice, You, Ender, or others might say something different.
Also, when you put it within a thread, you're able to modifity it there, and then continue on with the idea.
Plus, it's just easier. People aren't going to read "LOOK HERE FIRST" when they come to the forum. Noone ever does... We just put it there so that when they *do* screw up, we can point there. But they'd do it anyways. We don't need to yell at them for bad RP's OR bad rule following. One is enough.

exactly. I've never read it all the way through, only briefly skimmed it.
