Is this hard drive (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16822148033) compatable with this motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813152049)?
I was pretty sure that they are, but the HD is Serial ATA150 and I wasn't sure if that would work with the mobo.
If you look under the MOBO's specs youll see:
Storage Devices
PATA 2 x ATA 133 up to 4 Devices
PATA RAID NV RAID 0/1/0+1 JBOD
SATA 4 x SATA2
SATA RAID NV RAID 0/1/0+1 JBOD
SATA refers to serial ata, which that hd is.
So yup, your good to go :)

yeah but the HD was SATA150 or whatever =P
thanks a million
SATA150 just refers to the speed (as opposed to ATA133) it just means that while ATA133 goes at 133mb/sec SATA has a transfer rate of 150mb/sec.
Err... hope that made sense.

EDIT: As a side note, thats a damned nice motherboard.

Yeah, but no IDE hard drive can saturate either of those busses.
