StarWars: Battlefront

Whoelse here has Starwars: Battlefront and XBox live? I've been playing this week, and i've remembered how fun it is! I propose that one of these weekends when there aren't too many things going on, we should get together and play.
Also, we can discuss our favoirte strats and personal records here.

Favorite Strat: Grab the Clone/Droid/Rebel/Imperial pilot and get in a Vehicle. They repair the vehicle around them, and you can rack up major kills. (70-90 for me usually, but that's with the AT-TE and the Republic gunship.)

Well, if I had SW:BF, I would play it...if I wasn't playing HL2 or MW4:M...

Acctually I would like to know exactly what SW:BF is like, because currently the only Star Wars games I have are SW:CW for GameCube, SW:BH for GameCube, and SW:GBG for PC.

BattleFront places you as a nomal trooper inside the Starwars universe.

You can choose to side with the Republic, and be a Clone Pilot/Jet Trooper/ARC (Advanced Recon Commando, although they carry rocket launchers...)/Trooper/Sniper.

You can choose the droids and be a Super Destroyer Droid/Assault Droid/Droideka/Sniper/Pilot.

You can be with "T3h D4rk 51d3" and be a Dark Trooper/Stormtrooper/Pilot/Sniper/Assault.

Join the Rebels and gain Wookie Smugglers/Pilot/Sniper/Vanguard/ or just a plain old Trooper.

Instead of always being in a Fighter/being a Jedi, you fight the actual war, winning battles and scoring strategic places called "Command Posts". Command Posts act as a departure point for re-inforcements, and usually have some tactical advantage on the battlefield.

Its odd I though mroe people here would know of SW-BF. Its a great game!
My favourite side would probably be the Rebels in most cases or the Republic since I love controlling a fighter. I'm it's a non fighter map then probably being either the driods-Wrist missiles and Destroyers own. Or the Impreials, Dark troopers are cool as well.
Only thing is that I play SW-BF on PC, but on multiplayer that is, single player gets too boring after a while.

I use to play, but it was REALLY laggy and the AI chucked too many damned grenades.

Pilots don't heal that much, especially when you're under fire. Rhen Var, AT-AT, walk into that canyon of ice. You get screwed REAL fast, with or without a pilot.
