The World of Nouk
This is a totally unique rp, the uniqueness about it is the 5 different sides you can choose from.
The world of Nouk was once united. Elves, Man, Dwarf, Kei'um, and Nei'ien all stood under the banner of Nouk. Until the day his youngest son, Gnatly, assassinated the great peaceful king. Jaric was originally heir to the throne and also had his life almost taken by his younger brother. Jaric fled to the south to the lands of Nei while Gnatly blamed Jaric for the assassination of his dear father. The entire of Nouk fell apart, Men claimed the islands on the west as Balsor, the Elves claimed the middle section of the main continent as Broncs, Nei'ien claimed the southern lands as Nei, the Kei'um claimed the northern parts as Kei, and the dwarfs found refugee in the plentiful mountains all around. Years passed as an eerie peace which everyone knew would not last. Armies where built up under the tension, until finally it happened. Gnatly of Kei invaded planning on total domination under his rule. Jaric retaliated with his army planning to once again unite Nouk. Balsor and Broncs being greatly out numbed ally to fight off the invaders for they like their independence. Dragons, leviathans, Behemoths, and many other war animals are used to fight
Elves-- they mostly keep to themselves but when in danger they usually call upon man. Most reside in the forest, but there are few elven cities where most the High elf’s live. One called Lord Nakki rules them; he is a kind gentle man who takes everyone’s opinion. The most deadly mages are those of high elf ancestry.
--Woodland elf (specialize in archery, light armor)
--High elf (magic, cloak, Magic consists of Air and Water, ability to control weather)
--Elf ranger (sword and arrow, cloak)
--Clergy (healer with other white magic, flexible armor)
Man -- Think medieval England and you got these people down pact. Strong navy, strong will, smart and skilled warriors. A human warrior is better than any other warrior due to their intelligence. One called Lord Gregerof rules them, Gregerof is a brilliant tactician who has many times before lead small weak forces against unbeatable odds and came out victorious. He has never lost on the battlefield and many speak of a magic spell cast upon him.
--Mage masters ( "blue magic" take the spells from other races and use them as their own, this means greater range of spells)
--Barbarian (wield two swords and little armor)
--Paladin (knight of the church, sword and shield and heavy armor)
--Knight (Rides on horse, carries pike or sword, also has shield and armor)
--Ranger (sword and arrow, light armor)
--Clergy (healer with very limited magic)
--Dragon Rider (that’s right dragons used for this war! dragon riders have magic compounded balls they chuck down and they act like bombs creating explosions, also they have a short sword incase their dragon goes down)
Dwarf-- Dwarf leaders vary from mountain range to mountain range and never have to much for organized communities. Any dwarf a person chooses as a hero would most reside along the other races.
--Axe wielder (carries axe --duh--)
--tera mage (earth spells, aka earthquakes, volcanoes)
--Dwarf Scout (carries lighter gear, tracks prey...)
--Dwarf Rider (Rides on massive lizards, carries trowing axes)
Nei'ien-- (same as man except for Paladin and Clergy) The Nei'ien living in the south where once men, but gained dark skin and lived in poverty all their live believing in survival of the fittest, in war this makes them strong. Lead by King Jaric, who is bent on uniting Nouk once again, you might say he has lost his mind in the process. Still with tons of men at his disposal he is a VERY dangerous person. A direct attack on any city out side of Kie would result in a victory for him. Nei'ien have naturally stronger dragons born in the desert sand fires of Bahn. Also their behemoths are larger than normal but thinner skin compared to Kei’um Behemoths. Their desert archers are very well trained and second only to wood elves
--Berserker (like Barbarian except heavily armored)
--Fire mage (training in the sand fires of Bahn these mages learn to control and manipulate fire)
--Desert archer (wears a black cloak and carries bow and dagger. Ability to operate in sandstorms)
Kie’um-- (same as man except for Paladin and Clergy)
Living in the north these people where too once men but the environment took its toll on them and they became lets just say 'more hairy.' The new age saskwatches are great in numbers and strength. Lead by King Gnatly, he is a very greedy man and believes himself superior to everyone, including the creator himself. Gnatly believes himself to be immortal, and so far on the battlefield he has not been proven otherwise. With an army equal to that of Nei's they became direct opponents, not to mention the relations of Jaric and Gnatly into that. Their behemoths have gained thick skin due to the winder conditions of the north and their dragons go through a vigorous training process with makes them the easiest dragons to control. This makes the battle for the sky between Kie and Nei a very interesting battle, Kie's dragons being better trained but Nei's dragons being naturally stronger.
--Berserker (like Barbarian except heavily armored)
--Ice mage (In the ice fields of Baldor these mages learn how to control and manipulate Ice/snow))
--Artic warrior (Stand through brutal conditions and severe weather giving then a natural advantage in northern parts, also greatly trained in sword fighting. Ability to run on snow without making footprints)
Rules---
--No controlling armies as each of you will be part of the armies until further into the story as you will prove yourselves and climb the rank ladder
--No god molding, If you yourself run into a army of mass numbers RUN because you can not stand a chance against them.
--Do not create other peoples character around what you would like them to be, it is their character to create and control
--GM has final word
--Dueling is very encouraged, but in the World of Nouk it is better to leave the opponent alive and defeated then killing them, let them live with the same.... aka no killing other rp'ers characters
--Each rp'er is allowed one character per race
--Weapons will be standard for each class at first, to add uniqueness to rp and further bring about the weak recruit feeling you will start with
--(More rules under review)
