(If your wondering what the Revolution does, there isn't much info. All we do know is that it is Backwords compatible, and it has a HD, with online, and able to download any game made by Nintendo (NES, SNES, N64) off of there online network.)

I might be getting a 360, but like the looks of the Revolution, and what it can do.

I pick PS3 because it is true I am a sony fanboy and am there fore a little biased but I just think that the PS3 will be more poweful than the Xbox360...I also love the Idea that you can get your old nes,snes,and n64 legaly I mite add on the Revolution.

I'm not sure. I just know that I won't be getting any of them soon.

But if I had to say I would go with:

1) PS3 - since its suppose to be the most powerful
2) Xbox 360 - since Xbox is my favorite system at the moment
3) Revolution - I don't know if I will be purchasing this one, maybe I will just so I can play Vigilante 8 :P

I would probably get the Revolution, then possibly PS3, if the Xbox proves worth while I might get that too.

I, personally, am a Nintendo fan, but I am very tolerant and would like to try them all out and see which one I would like most. However, what I'm really saving up moola for right now are Spore, Quake IV, Doom3: Resurrection of Evil, Empire Earth II and preparing for Homeworlds III to come out...at least I hope it does. Oh and not to forget Starfox: Assault.

Yeah dude I cant wait to play all those old nintendo games on one console. Play Secret of mana then some Goldeneye, then back to some Blastermaster. I seriously hope they come out with some bettrer games though. The gamecube was good, it just never made nop notch games, their best game has probably been Resident Evil 4. They need more shooters and stuff like that. They make too many "kiddie" games one can say.

I think i would rather spend my money on upgrading my comp.

Where the hell did you get that information? PS3 is NOT three times faster. Xbox 360 has a single 3.0 ghz processor with 3 cores....much more powerful than the PS3's single core 3.5 ghz processor.

And it seems like everybody's basing their facts on the Killzone movie, which was so obviously scripted that it's impossible to be actual gameplay.

the Revolution's specs haven't been released yet, so for all we know, it could be God-in-a-box. The Killzone 2 trailer was, from what I can tell and what I understand, fake. Perhaps it shows off the PS3's abilities, perhaps not, but processing power isn't everything and Killzone 1 was not the Halo replacement it was cracked up to be.

I will wait untill the release to make any decisions. Currently I have an xbox and it is mod chiped so it has backwards compatability...with PS games and acarde games ;) If I can do that with an xbox 360 then I will probably get it (it might even be able to play PS2 games). And I heard someone say PS3 is 3 times faster than xbox 360, a doubling of specs usually only gains a 1-2% increase of speed (possibly 3% cause its a console) in similiar systems. So although a PS3 might be 3 times faster it will probably run everything at the same speed.

But man xbox 360 and PS3 are the ugliest things!!

Whats this Killzone movie everyone is talking about? I haven't seen it; could someone post a link?

Also, I believe the PS3 will be faster and more powerful, but no way it'll be x3. I'm curious to know what the Revolution's specs will be. I am predicting a surprise from Nintendo, meaning they will be up there with the other systems, not a let down like last time, and I bet they won't release them untill it goes on sell.

-Side Note- I personally didn't think Halo was all that good. In fact I found Halo easier then Killzone, even on the harder levels.

But then I don't have the ability to play Halo on Live so I don't really know much that end of the specturm and I hear the multiplayer is why everyone loves Halo.

Xbox 360 has better specs in all areas except for System Floating Point and Memory Bandwidth.

And looks like I was wrong about the processor on PS3...it's only 3.2 ghz, with one core. Xbox has 3 cores at 3.2 ghz. :D

But I personally like Nintendo's concept of being able to download the old games (Like Mario 64, Starfox, Banjo Kazooie etc.) and play them on the new gen system. BUT, I hope it doesn't require you to "Create and Account" and tell them everything about you just to play older games, that I will not accept.

I also like the look of the PS3, it just looks modern (and rather attractive in a weird kind of way o_0). It will (just like the PS2) be able to play the older gen games without needing an internet connection... +kudos for PS3 (^_^). But, I am not very happy with its large pricetag. <_<

The Xbox360, eh... I have an original Xbox, and at first I thought it was "Da Bomb" but, after so many errors and crashes in pivital moments during games, I became fed up with it. Sure Its still fun to play Mechassault and Amped, but games only hold as much charm as you want them to. And to top it off, I do not like bright silver and green colors, just not my style... If they made a dark+blue version I might find it more interresting, but currently I am fed up with Microsoft's attempt to dominate the console gaming industry.

For some reason, the xbox 360 looks bad. The only reason I am going to get it is for Halo 3. If it isn't for that, I would much rather get revolution or PS3. And why would anyone even want a faceplate? I mean seriously, are you watching your TV or your console? When I play a game, I never even notice the console. The only time I even see it is when I turn it on and turn it off. So basically the only reason you would want one is to show it off to your friends. And showing off that you paid extra money for your console to look cooler, in my opinion is pretty sad. I think it was a bad decision for Microsoft to be advertising that, when instead they should be advertising the tech specs.

By the way, why is everyone making a big deal about nintendo's backwards compatibility? If you want to play Mario 64 or Super Smash Brother, and just connect up whichever nintendo console it was for, and play it. The game isn't going to be different if you play it on the revolution. Unless you can play it online, which then is very cool.

Personally, I think the faceplates are cool, but I will never buy a custom one for myself. (Unless they make a 1337 Halo3 Faceplate.) I'm getting a 360 for Christamas, (Probably..) and after that i'm getting a Revolution. My brother will more than likely get a PS3, so I can mooch off of him.
