To anyone who's got the beta, so far, has it been better or worse than you expected?

Was it easy to get the hang of the game? How's the lag?

Those graphics certainly look cool. Although Mr. Plow, your Mage looks like he's wearing a purple dress.

Haha Redcloak, all of us already saw those days ago because we're so obsessed with WoW. They're really good screenshots, and it just makes me jealous I don't have a copy of the beta...

Also Redcloak, you know the rules about advertising. Someone is going to have to edit that post, however, you're welcome to put the link in your sig. Follow PirateFace's example, he's always right.

We'll allow posts containing links to WCL (or any other Legacy staffed website) to be advertised here, if you allow Warboards.org top be allowed to be advertised there. Does that sound like a deal? :)

I liked that tree beside the moonwell :).

Edit: If anyone can get any more screenies of Booty Bay, I'd be much obliged. Thus far I've only been able to find one shot :\.

Ohhh, I have to stop visiting this forum. I'm getting to excited about this lil' game. Time to immerse myself in the dead, hacker-saturated atmosphere of Diablo 1 again..... Well, maybe not.

I wonder what KaZaA will say if I enter WoW Beta...

Hahaha, I'm sure you'd get very few valid results :P. And even if you did find anything of use, you wouldn't have a valid cdkey to connect to the server >_<;;.

If only it were that easy *sigh* :p.

Nope. Starting with Warcraft III, when a Blizzard game connects to Battle.net, it sends the CDkey and waits for B.net to verify that the key is valid and send a response before continuing. Generating a CDkey won't work unless you're EXTREMELY lucky and happen to get a real CDkey.
