Hello Everyone! I'm here to tell you all about the Greatest convention in the United States: Wizard World Chicago!
The wonderful convention takes place in the first weekend in August: The 5th, 6th, and 7th.
Tickets for a one day pass are $25 each, but a three day pass is worth $50... That's going for a whole day for FREE!
Wizard World Chicago is considered an "All-purpose"; that is, pretty much ANYTHING can be found here!
The convention takes place in Rosemont, a suburb of Chicago.
Don't know how to get there? Here you go! (http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?2ex=1&2v=ADDRESS&2y=US&2pl=847%2d692%2d2220&2pn=Donald%20E%20Stephens%20Convention&2l=mgIaXjxra7Y%3d&2g=VUHj8u62kNA%3d&2a=5555%20N%20River%20Rd&2c=Rosemont&2s=IL&2z=60018&2ffi=1&cat=Convention%20%26%20Meeting%20Facilities%20%26% 20Svc) I have put in the address of the convention center, so all you have to do is to input your address and you get the direction needed!
Need a hotel nearby? Here's a list you might like. (http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qscr=htwv&from=m&stat=1&khst=1&locn=Rosemont&ploc=Rosemont&loid=&eapid=13172-1&kword=rosemont%20hotels&&zz=1115946675055&) Be careful though, rooms may not be availiable and/or may be expensive.
Need to buy tickets? Go here and see (http://store.yahoo.com/wizarduniverse/wizworchic20.html) what the people in charge of Wizard World Chicago have to offer!
As perhaps the closest .Org member to the convention (40 minutes away), I will be there all 3 days!
If there are any questions, feel free to ask me. I'll answer them to the best of my ability.
Hope to see fellow .Orgers there!
