E3 is comming up, and getting set for the occasion, wondering what you guys would like to see there?
Me, I am hoping to see some more XBOX 360 games, praying that there might be some hint at SC2/Warcraf IV/ Diablio 3. I would also like to see something on SC Ghost. And something on the new Zelda.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion trailer
Thats all.
No, some Hellgate: London stuff would also be welcomed

I saw a little bit on G4 about the Nintendo's new system (*Is holding three GC game cases in his hand, stacked on top of each other...*)
Are they serious about the SIZE of that thing?! C'mon now... It's going to be small and all (The size that I'm holding), but what'll be in that thing? Also, they said backwards compatible with older games, but it said nothing about GC... Does that mean no GC backwards compatibility, but some with the older games? That just scares me...
Also, I haven't seen the specs on their controller... Can anyone get me a screenshot this early? Or not...?

There is supposedly nothing on the controller, and I think they didnt show the GC is because it is disk based like I am assumming the revolution is.
Did anyone here see the killzone 2 trailer pure beauty.

The Revolution will be backwards compatible with the GC. Also there will be a more used online system, as well as a Nintendo download system for such classics as Donkey Kong, but little information has been said about this.

My hopes: PS fanboys stop wishing the Xbox death because they are afraid of it. I realize that the Xbox stayed afloat mainly because of Halo and 3rd party games, but it's massive multiplayer following owns the PS system.

I dont fear xbox, i think that microsoft thinks they can do what they want and can push everyone around, and I want to see what they do when someone pushes back and pushes back so hard that they topple the giant.

Even Microsoft is afraid of PS3. The only way to combat it: Release Halo 3 the same day as the release of PS3. Halo 3 is the only thing Microsoft has which has any hopes of topping PS3, and my guess is that it won't help.
I watched the E3 unveiling of PS3, and that was pure beauty. The graphics they showed for PS3 were simply astounding, and the power of PS3 is unimaginable. Xbox 360 will simply not stand a chance against the might that is the PS3.

The Revolution will also be the first game system to come equipped with wireless controllers, (afaik) will have more options for online gaming along with a built in modem, (yep, Nintento is getting into the habit of going global alowing you to play specific games in a online game hosting server or even download and play the games from the previous Nintendo game systems [whether it will be a free download service or not is up to Nintendo to decide]) and will also have 512 MB of ram.

I don't like the design of the new PS3 controllers. They just made them curvy for no reason at all other than to try to be trendy (don't you dare tell me it's "ergonomic"). The PS1/2 controller is so perfect in every way and I hope that I'll be able to plug in one of the old ones into the PS3 and use it, especially seeing as they apparently didn't change the layout of the buttons...

Xbox 360 will own you all. Want to know why? Superior power. Microsoft easily has more than enough funds to get the best of everything in their new system, and as for Killzone 2, two words:pre-rendered graphics. It wasn't showing off the PS3's abilities. I have full confidence in Microsoft's ability to overthrow Sony's playstation, simply looking at the PS2 and Xbox. Xbox owned everything in power, and had reliable online support. PS2 was the weakest between the GC, Xbox, and PS2. Yea, they've had time to develop new processors and whatnot, but with the massive success of the Xbox, Sony has some catchin' up to do.

Well for one, the Nintendo Revolution better really be a revolution or else it is out of the picture. Xbox 360 and PS3 are both offering backwards compatibility, so most people are going to stay with the system they have now. I have an Xbox now, so I probably will get a 360. One of the things keeping me with Xbox is Live. It really is such a great feature. And since ALL games are Xbox Live compatible, you will never be alone. Another is that great games are coming. For example, CoD 2 is a launch title for Xbox 360, and it looks great. I probably will be picking that up. Also, in Spring, Halo 3 is coming. I can't wait for that. Hopefully Bungie has learnt from their mistakes in Halo 2, and will make Halo 3 great.

Tell me about it. PS and Xbox have had a ton of good releases and Nintendo has inly had Metroid Prime 2 and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (goddamn bastards didn't even release Hitman: Contracts :mad2: They better shape up with Revolution or sell out.

actually he said the xbox will be backwards compatiable with top selling games, not all of them are top selling, that could be halo and halo 2, but then what else does xbox have.
Where as the PS3 will be backwards compatiable with ps1 and ps2.
it would cost a small fortune to make the xbox 360 fully backwards compatiable because of the new herdware.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 are somewhat technologically on par, and I don't know enough about both systems to know who's on top(and if you're going to say, provide official proof.) Don't call me an idiot, or I will sling some mud in your face, showing your ignorance as well. Killzone 2 was pre-rendered. Want my proof? Check IGN or this quote:
I saw the trailer you are talking about. The whole thing is computer rendered... Thats why there aren't any crosshairs. Also IGN confirmed the whole thing is prerendered. So those graphics don't mean anything, and Killzone 2 will probably be as bad as the first one.
My hopes/comments.
-Xbox 360 looks and sounds badass. And I haven't heard much about Halo 3 since I don't quite care..
-PS3 looks like a flippin' fax machine..

It doesn't matter if the PS3 has a better processor.. I could care less what the hell the processor is in the system.. it's ment for gaming.. give it some good games. Thats what REALLY matters.

Personally, I've got enough saved to buy another Alienware(God I love my job), so yea, I probably would. But with what they did with the Xbox and how they optimized its graphics for Halo 2 and Doom 3, its fookin' amazing. I've liked Microsoft since Windows 95(dont you dare get me started on DOS), so I'm biased. But between the Xbox 360 and the PS3, going by what I've seen from the past 4 years, the Xbox 360, even if technologically inferior, will rule, even just from the fan base. Don't believe me? Look at the PS2. My foot is more powerful than that sad excuse for a gaming console, but its fan base and the developers made it a success, and a damn good one at that.

well they dont need a multi tap because they have up to 7 wireless controllers usable on the system straight out of the box, wheer as xbox only has 4.

Yes.. tru . but we havnt heard everything that Sony's online option will support yes.. ..
but as of now.. Xbox 360 has XBL while PS3 had Hardware and sublime realtime graphics rendering *drools* and Revolution... erm.. well.. oh you can download all the older nitendow games from all of the other systems into it (which we can basically already do with emulators)

That online system sucked. You wanna know why? Not enough games were for it, and you needed to make a new name for every single game you owned, to play online. Not so with Xbox Live.

I in no way have said that Xbox 360 lost.. i look at all 3 systems .. you know why.. because i dont play consols .. i dont own consols.. i use my unbiased opinion to tell you what i know.. i even watched the live coverage of E3o5 the last 3 days.. and even the replay of thoes shows to see if i have missed anything...
I say that so far.. Xbox360 and PS3 are evenly matched.. on in hardware.. the other in software.. Revolution gave us no real hard evidence other than a black box...
To say that i am a fanboi would be an outright lie as i have never even touched or been neer an xbox or Ps2.. If you have ever played even one of these systems, you wold have a biased oppinion.. i have not..
Also the In-Game clips of Hellgate: London look bloody sweet..

Emma, what you are doing annoys me... Stop looking at posts. They are all biased people who don't know the full picture. In all honesty, without actual experience how can you possibly gauge something off of hype alone? That is what made me so mad about the PS2. It lives today ONLY because of the hype it generated. It was a lot, and I was on the bandwagon at first, until I played one, unimpressive to me to say the least. The PS3 is more advanced when it comes to video, but Xbox demolishes it in processing. Whatever screens you see or videos you see are all honest. Take them for granted. Understand though, Sony has a history of delivering what they want, not what everyone else wants. I am leaning more towards the PS3, but only because it is going to use the Blu light disk DVD instead of old school DVD. Besides, you have been converted my friend, you are no longer a console gamer, I will rid you of that simple fantasy. You have ascended to computer gamer, ascention only comparable to that of Valhalla, the kingdom of warriors. That is where we play brother... Among the greatest. Consoles are inferior. They always will be. ;) Keep that in mind at all times.

Why play a console game thats available on the PC, when you can get better graphics and effects on the PC version? Console games aren't always designed to have the best graphics possible on a console(look at Katamari Demacy), and I didn't spend $6,000 on my computer. I spend $3,348.

On a similar note, why does most magazines (specifically OXM) think that you need a $3000+ PC to run some of the newer games (Half-Life 2, Doom 3, etc.)? My $400 Compaq Presario runs Half-Life 2 at 1024x768 with High Detail and 4x AA at a constant 34-40 fps :O!
Hell If i know, I can run lots of games on this whateveritis.
Its the fact my family are with AOL that frigs my online play.
