More moderators for the SC2 Theories forum...

I have noticed BSTRhino doesn't come on much, and if he does, he doesn't visit the SC2 Theories forum. I have noticed a lot of spam and off-topic discussion in it, and I say we need a moderator who is willing to check it out everyday.

I don't visit the SC 2 forum often, but I know something that a few people are going to ask for here...

1. Find evidence that there is spam. Find a few threads that have been open for more than X number of days (Reasonable amounts of days. Sometimes weekends are bad, so 3 days minimum, I'd think) would be nice to see.

2. Show that it's more than one person causing the spam. If I went into Creative Concepts, and started 2 threads, posted 20 times, etc., that would be my own problem. If it's done by 6 or 7 people over the time of two weeks, then it's the forum that needs management. Show that it's the first.

3. Don't pick moderators, nor say "Who would work best," but say what you'd need more of. If it's someone to close threads or something, or maybe it's sticky threads? I know currently you're saying it's "Spam and off-topic" discussion, but is that needing closures? Deletions? What do you need more than anything? Within the RP forum, originally when we petitioned, we needed someone to sticky threads and keep order. Eventually, we got the administrators to help us with that, which solved short term problems. After a few months, though, it grew harder for the admins to keep up with us, and they appointed Black.Ice. Show that you need a moderator, and not just a small watch.

Just a few things for you to cause enough of a debate with the mod staff, or enough to make them notice you ;)

Of course, now that I've posted this, they'll probably say "Way off, Geno" or something like that, but meh. At least I got *someone's* attention with this ;)

BSTRhino is currently quite busy with some projects and the like. He'll be free soon and then the Starcraft forums will return to their usual business. For now, it might be a good idea for some other moderators to pitch in whilte BST is busy.

I didn't read Digital Fortess, but I started Deception Point and read The DaVinci Code. They were superb. My physics course only touched on black holes and stuff. I found it pretty much useless. Then again, almost every course in my shcool is useless.

Plus some lead to stop the high energy gamma photons.


Really, antimatter is not a childs toy, it is the most destructive stuff known to man that isnt a black hole or lots of plasma.

Read the book Angels and Demons. It is factually accurate. Dan Brown does months of research before he rights the book, so it's all true.

Just as a side note, this is really off-topic.

Have done, but I am speaking from my physics course mainly, but yeah, he does his reaserch well.
