starcraft map editor wont open .scx files

What software do I need inorder to open a .scx file?

Your probably trying to open a protected map which theres no way to open, if your trying to find triggers theres a new program that mindarcon made you can get it at SEN.

If im not mistakes scx is there if theres BW units involved, or BW terrain. Do you have BW installed, including the campaign editor?

or u can downlaod 'X-tra Editor' from creepcolony.com... maybe u do need StarCraft: Broodwar, u could buy it for $10 on Amazon i think, but recomand that you don't becouse StarCraft 2 SHOULD BE COMING OUT REALLY REALLY SOON!!!!! (twitches)

SCUnprotect is an excellent way to unprotect maps, and although there may be some controversy about unprotecting maps, I think that it gives sc users opportunities to fix bugs or improve parts of games that are lacking.

Or rig the map and put your name on it.

Unprotectors suck, people who create unprotectors suck, people who use unprotectors aren't much better.
If you think you can make the map better, recreate it yourself.
If you want to learn the triggers, ask people in forums like this.
There's no need to unprotect the map, map creators have rights.
