I was just curious if you guys would let me post alpha ss on here? I'm guessing it's problay a no...and i have not said if i have the game or not or if a friend has it or not, no ban plz ^^ <_< >_>

I don't really think it would be appropriate to have alpha screenshots up, but I suppose it's up to the administration. It just seems somewhat ironic for a fansite driven forum to be, basically, permitting the use of hacked and pirated versions of Blizzard's game :P.

Regardless, most of the screenies for alpha is stuff you can catch from the screenies anyway.

as it is, you can't attach anything so i don't have to worry about that.
and as long as you aren't telling people how to _get_ the alpha, then you're welcome to post screenshots from it, for now at least.

Sorry, overruled! No screenshots of the alpha. No links to the alpha. No links to screenshots of the alpha. No discussions that are just about the alpha. In fact, just pretend that it doesn't exist, because as far as this site is concerned, it doesn't ;)

You won't get in trouble for mentioning that it exists, and we're not going to ban anyone for this kind of stuff or do "phantom edits" and pretend that nobody brought it up. But please try not to talk about it. Blizzard gets unhappy, and then we miss out on cool things, and that just sucks.

The beta is coming soon enough, anyway. Can't you guys hold out just a little longer? You've waited years for this game already, it's just a few more weeks now :)

You aren't missing out on anything in alpha. It has nothing interesting or worth your time for a 2GB file. Besides, the Beta is coming out soon. And Open Beta will come later on before release. So don't trip.
