Well, after about a month of not doing much, I think I can actually get back into SC modding. I have finally worked out my problem with StarEx, and have a semi-working version for 1.12b!! But it still doesn't work for Staredit. I need some help, so here's a list of question I have for anyone.
1. If I change the length that SC takes in memory, will it play against other versions, if the data is still in the same place?
2. Is it possible to add new units, because of the button sets that are after the normal units (Groups and replays)?
3. Is anyone really serious about making a program that will combine all of Sc modding?
4. I'm planning on making a SC executable for all modders that extends the capacity of most of the .dat files. How big should they be?

Another question:
When is Starcraft.org's Custom section coming back up?

When the dinosaurs rule the earth ;) It all depends on how much time BSTrhino has and how quickly he can put his 1337 c0d1ng sk33l5 to work on updating SC.org But anyway, welcome back! :D Have a cookie :cookie: ... oh, and here's a doughnut for extra measure :donut:

My question is: How can you be back, after you've barely been here? 80 posts?

ah but does number of posts really count, or is it the information on the posts that count more?

It's cause I did most of those in about 3 weeks time. Then I had a bunch of school stuff.

Of course it wouldn't work, you just changed the memory, which what StarGraft/MemGraft does.
2. Is it possible to add new units, because of the button sets that are after the normal units (Groups and replays)?
It shouldn't be a problem as long as you know what you are doing.
3. Is anyone really serious about making a program that will combine all of Sc modding?
I do know of one person who plans to do it, but he's stuck on the TBL format.
4. I'm planning on making a SC executable for all modders that extends the capacity of most of the .dat files. How big should they be?
As long as it works correctly, then size shouldn't be a problem.
