Hello all... I've been having trouble running a certain map i've recently been working on. For some reason, right after the briefing, Starcraft craps out on me and gives me some sort of "starcraft has encountered an error" report.
It then boots me out of Starcraft.

This happens ONLY on this particular map i am trying to test however...
I tested this map yesterday and it worked fine. Now, after some modifications, it is acting wierd. Any thoughts? I tested other various maps, and they all work. I was only running one AI script (enter bunker script) but i removed that trigger for lack of any better troubleshooting ideas, and it still craps out... Has something like this happened to anybody else?
Please help me out... :mad2:
(it's REALLY starting to piss me right off!)

I have the sinking feeling the file has been corrupted and i will have to redo the whole map... grrrrrr.....

Good question, I've never heard of anything like this, and I don't think you can do this with the regular editor. I don't suppose you're using anything super-unusual in the map, like hyper players, random sprites, disabling some strange units, anything else like that?

Nope. Not using anything fancy at all. I've been using SC X-tra Editor.
I do have several triggers in the map, but not a massive amount. The map is pretty small relative to the ones i usually design.

Altough I mostly use SCXE (due to eased triggerin' system), I advise you to try out SCMDraft (http://www.stormcoast-fortress.net/) 2 also. I have it rigged to work from one of the SCXE Wizard's addictional functions, so when I want somethin' extra like resizing my maps I'll pop it out in a breeze.

Side Note (added): I just don't use SCMDraft 2 for my mapping 'cause it lacks some of the basic buttons SCXE has, along with it's text coding triggering/briefing system. If weren't for those things I might have been already fully addicted to it... as 'Rhino sorta is. ;)

As usual, thanks for the tips!

I think the file is hosed and will just have to re-do it.
Heinous.
