Seeing as how many of you like to show off your (and I mean it) awesome gaming skills, I decided to post one of my replays, for all to enjoy, or laugh their asses off my poor strategy. By the way, I'm SilverStreak

OKay, I checked that rep now. First of all, you need to watch your economy. You had way too much re´sources at many points of the game, and nothing really happened on it. I would recommend to... atleast make tanks, dropships, and goliaths, so that you can harass your opponent up. If you wanna, go and make a nuke. But Be wary, most of the decent players are aware of nukes, and would detect them and/or shoot/move away. Another thing you should look after is, thats right, team work. You was mainly sitting there, doing about nothing with your ally.
One thing I aprreciate in this is, that it's actually a NON-money map game on lost temple, the basic map that is the first maps you should practise at.
Anway,
Here is one rep of my friends and mine 2v2. It should show pretty well how 2v2 is played, and some 2v2 strategies. Although, we won it pretty easily. But really, it was team work. I don't remember ONE battle from now that we didn't fight together, I don't remember one fight I hadto do alone :P. Oh well, I might be wrong too, I guess. It's a month or so old, so I cannot remember every switch of the game

Nice reps Ahzz, though it does seem that they were a bit easy for you guys.

Covert, basically you have to work with your ally in order to get nice unit combos (ultraling/M&M, dmatrixed cracklings, zergling/medic rush, valks/devies, etc.). Aside from that, watch your resources, micro as well as possible, and constantly scout your opponents. In essence, it's just like playing two sets of 1v1s at the same time, but the two sets can intermingle (Reminds me of crazy bughouse chess).

You should take your own advice, newb. Or at minimum, stop harassing other people for no reason.

If I had the time to watch more than a few seconds into the game, I'd go more in-depth, but the least I can tell you is that you ought to seperate your workers properly at the beginning of the game.

GoatseS_BoxeR, if you have nothing useful to say, don't bother saying it.

who goatses.. he is ok. He beat me once, but you're definately better. Goatses is ok, but that doesn't give him the right to post anything because even though he's decent he still has no idea wtf he is talking about and his advice usually boarders on horrible.

Well, my problem is I keep having to many frickin' minerals in the game. I can't keep track of so many processes at once!

heh. Just spend them. if you have like 2000 or something, and can't spend them on units at once, make more gateways! after spending money on units, and you still have 1000+ resources, make more gateways depending on how much money you got, make more gateways. Or stargates for carrier, starports for bc, and so on. Also, make more expands. They take some money, and you will not lose the game if your opponent takes one of your exps. or something. uhhuh

Sometimes I find that saving up minerals can be a good thing. In non-money map maps, sometimes me and my opponent square off so evenly that neither of us can gain much territory before its retaken again. If you waste minerals building suicide units that do little damage, it'll come back to haunt you once you've exhausted your mineral income and your expansions. But then again, I wouldn't want to be attacked while having all these minerals yet cannot do anything with them while my opponent is wiping me out. So I guess the thing to do is to focus your minerals on certain strategies like creating mass tanks/gols/svs. I ono...just my two cents.

Eh, If you and your opponents are equal in terms of strength and you still have money, why aren't you using it???

Also, what is tank/gol/sv supposed to counter?

uh...science vessels in tvt? seems awkward...unless ur saying DM, well then I'd really rather build more tanks on that case

oh wait im sorry about the tvt thing, i posted unnoticed... ^^" but still, sv is only useful in tvz
