Old WB Threads

I stopped posting here 10 months ago. I recently came back, but have noticed that many of the old threads and some of the old forums are gone. Am I missing something? If they were deleted, could someone fill me in as to why?

They weren't deleted, they died. People stopped posting in them, or they were closed. WarBoards has changed since 10 months ago, and has even been through a civil war(dont ask), so don't expect many things to be the same.

We've rearranged the forums a number of times. In the rearranging, it is very, very likely that your old posts and threads were moved into different forums, merged into other forums, removed into a separate forum, divided, subdivided, merged, and moved one more time for good luck.

Any ones you were looking for in particular though?

Kongorous: I assume then this "civil war" you speak of is why many of the guys I remember (ark-templarus, sambo, etc.) aren't here anymore (and therefore, by extension, the reason the sc:tac forum is kinda newbified and slow on the strat posts)? Or am I just not looking hard enough for them and their posts?

Radlin: Thanks for the hearty welcome back; it's good to be back. Wasn't looking for anything in particular, just the old stuff from the sc:tac forum. It doesn't seem to display threads older than 11/21/04...?

Remember when I became the Queen of the Game Room and Zeltaris became Emperor of the Member's Lounge? Zelt declared "war" on the Game Room and spam, and that was our civil war. It ended in a stalemate. And PowderBB3D, Sambo83 still comes here. I don't know about Ark-templarius, though.

As for Tenshi, he's been gone for quite a while. The last -and only time- I talked to him, he said he just got bored of forum life. Figures.
Most of the old staff has been replaced. Exedore left almost half a year ago. Prozerran replaced him [Prozerran was replaced by Mindslaver recently, btw]. Then T-Dawg stepped down and Black.Ice filled in for him. Same happend with Gami, who's spot was taken by hammocksleeper.
I can assure you it had nothing to do with the civil war :) [In other words, I didn't do it!]

Oh, yeah, as a little extra. Xenon came and went in between October and February. Shame you missed on it :(

If your talking about a 10 month difference, your also going to have to speak of Radlin's rise to power as well.

Anyway, Sadly I don't think any threads that old still exist (Except for maybe in the members lounge, which has threads from day one of Warboards), although you could try looking in the main SC forum.

Most threads still exist, just remember who the creator was pick up his account view created by .... threads and there they are.
They were juggled around many times os that's what expalins the um changes.

Btw Welcome back since you weren't here 6 months ago when I joined I want to present myself.
I'm Hawthorne ( Changed my nick to Hawthorne from Hotorn ). I am a author at starcraft.org, a semi-RPer at WBs, a Map-maker ( triggerist ) but I kind of retired if not called, I'm also number one threat for the KGB... oh damn you didn't hear that from me , I'm the only Bulgarian user at Warboards, I took over B.I.'s Group Fanfiction and gave the idea for the story which is being written by the authors called Pandora's Box ( I'm it's main supervisor and I'm gonna write the ending ), and let's see oh yeah I'm the creator of Greencraft™ - If it's green we made it!

Heheh well that's all I could think up...for now that is.
