My friend sent me this link. It is pretty damn funny, and I wanted to share it with all of you.

http://nuar.lunarpages.com/video/SW_mirrors.htm

Pick a mirror and watch. Some guy took the Episode III trailer and put subtitles in 1337speak on it. Hilarious.

YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!

I like when it was like:

Normal:
Mace: We'll give you a spot on the council, but not the rank of master jedi.
Anikan: What?

1337 speak:
Mace: We'll let you in our club. But you're still N00Borz.
Anikan: WTF?

Lmao!

Hehe yeah I saw that a while ago... it's pretty funny. I just wish it was longer!

Also watch A Lost Hope (http://www.sequentialpictures.com/moviestarwarsepisode3.html) if you haven't already :)

I really don't see how this movie can suck. WOOKIE ARMY, PEOPLE. No movie can suck if it has Wookies in it.

That said, it would have been better if the prequels had not been made. And Lucas hadn't fucked around with the original movies. THEY WERE PERFECT. And you messed with them. The Force is not strong with you.

And that said, a Knights of the Old Republic movie/miniseries would roxxor.

Only if it were the FIRST game, because the second one SUCKED. KotOR II was SUCH a letdown.

What are you talking about, by prequels I assume you are referring to Ep. 1 & 2. And when did Lucas fuck with the originals (I assume this means 456), special edition? Like what changes did he make?

Basically, we knew what was going to happen- Vader falls to the Dark Side and Luke and Leia are born. No need to make prequels- the rest is superfluous.

I will agree that the battles are awesome- but the dialouge is HORRIBLE. And no matter the hawtness of Natalie Portman, the love scenes are so horrible I just skip over them.

And when did Lucas fuck with the originals (I assume this means 456), special edition? Like what changes did he make?

Did you even see the special editions? All the CGI shit they added. Adding a scene with Stormtroopers and CGI dewbacks does not a good movie make.

The ROTJ DVD edition has the worst transgression- at the very end, when Luke is looking out and he sees Obi Wan, Yoda, and Anakin's ghost, they replaced Anakin with that asshat from the prequels.

I don't understand how Lucas gets away with it. Oh wait, I do- because he gets rid of the original copies. He limits us to watch his CGI enhanced shit, which sticks out like a sore thumb in a movie from the friggin 70's. Or get VHS copies of the originals.

Yeah I totally agree with everything. I never actually saw the Special Editions, maybe this is a good thing. Although I'd like to see the movies again sometime, in all their original glory. I'll have to find a friend who's got them around. They replaced the Anakin actor at the end? Oh gross.

I liked IV and V a hundred times more than any of the other movies. Do you know some website where I can read about the specific changes made in Special Ed? This post is disjointed.

My bad. Didn't know you never seen it.

Either you can see the movies, or go here (http://www.themovieblog.com/archives/2004/08/star_wars_special_edition_vs_star_wars_2004_still_ shot_comparisons_of_lucas_alterations.html) and see the changes.

Update: LucasArts got bitchy and asked that the guy take it down. It can no longer be viewed upon that site.

JT, I'm going to burn my VHS editions of IV, V, and VI to DVD. Screw Lucas if he won't give us what we want. I found even the first VHS re-mastered releases to be distasteful, back in the mid 90's. The viewing audience is not so stupid to be unable to tell the difference between a 12' long puppet and a CGI recreation of Jabba the Hut.

That is an awesome link! Thanks dude!

He forgot one nitpick that i know of though...

In STAR WARS when the droids enter the cantina, a machine detects them and makes a wierd alert noise. It does not do this in the revision... it is silent as they enter. Just a random geek fact for ya... :)

I hate how in the DVD of the original one (not Empire or Jedi), the music is turned down way low. Or the sound effects turned up. Remember that trumpet blast when the Rebels started attacking the Death Star? Gone. Can't hear it over the blaster fire. For God's sake, Lucas, you won a fucking Oscar for the music for that movie. We can't hear it.

Will you mail me copies? I'll pay shipping and materials. Or upload it or something, seriously.

Btw thanks for the link JT, that's great.

I think that when Lucas dies, who ever gets control of the movies will release the originals, as they were (I doubt Lucas has destroyed the originals, or made alterations to the originals. Of that he has original copies of them.)

HS, I cannot release the originals since that would be a violation of the DMCA, but I could let you borrow them *cough* *cough* *hack* *ahem* you know.....

But this all depends on my schedule, it's going to take hours of video crunching, but as long as I get a VCR setup, I can let it run overnight. I have to get my 200Gb drive installed too, I just got it replaced by Western Suckitall.
