Well, here's a hint. If you do manage to get nukes, don't nuke big units of people directly. Nuke next to something like in the middle of water near them or something. People tend to not look at anything but their units and buildings..

nuking is the most effective against protoss. One tactic my friend used on me many times was to turtle in his base then fly out with a sci vess, to emp my nexus then nuke it.

Thats one way anyway.

Back on topic: nuking is fun and the explosion is cool, but it's not a game-winning strategy (or shouldn't be if your opponent knows what he/she's doing).

Here is a replay of a Nuke Rush, done by a Terran Progamer by the name of Slayers_Boxer or Boxer for short against a Protoss Player.

Remember, that this is not a strategy that you would use every game, but a 1 in 100 games strategy, done for fun.

However, Boxer shows how to do a Nuke Rush, and how to do it with style...
You'll see how he floats his ebay over the nuclear silo on his command center, so that the ob from the Protoss Player will not be able to see that and know that he is going fast nukes.

If you really want to nuke so badly, try nuking people in island maps. They cant really rush you, like Zerglings and Marine and Meidic rush and etc... So you have a better chance in making them. Like my friend, he always nuke and his recored is like 200 wins and 270 loses.

You can nuke aerial units (most likely, Overlords). They hide the red spot...
Also when nuking, try to hide (besides cloak) your ghost under a tree, or one of your ships

Nuking an open area with an uncloaked ghost is about the most stupid thing you can do.

restating all of the above ppl, nuke is risky, time-money costly, and should not be considered as a rush tactic in a 1v1 game...unless ofcourse we are all boxer juniors, which obviously is false

nuking realy fast is very stupid. reason:all beginers do it.

let me explain:its beginers shit to get at least 3 nukes in to orbit(or launched),
then they sent ALL their warrior in to battle,and then :blowup: !!!!!!!!!!!
all gone and their ready for an attack they wont forget.
