yeah booted is that you are kicked out for once but you can still join again. Banned is when you can not join that game again forever.

Lol. he's going to get revenge on people who booted him! :o

Well, it's probably because they see your connection sucks and you'll lag up the game.

Well another possibility for them to boot or kick is to maybe make way for their buddies, or maybe they don't like it when you download the map (takes too long), or maybe they're just jerks. Anyway I never ban anybody from my servers. If I want a friend to join I'll kindly ask for somebody to leave first, then maybe give one the boot (although I'd HATE to do that), but I'll never ban because that's just too severe.

I'd ban a BSer... If I remember his name, kaplow, he's gone.

It is annoying to have slow DLers on board, and usually host is a bit of impatient, usually because of already long waiting...

Nah, I just like to backstab them instead. Then gloat over the smoking ruins of there base. Just don't lose in a stab. It can be very embarassing.

That's not true. When someone bans you from his game, the data information is stored on your client and not on his client. There are some ways to get rid of this data and you can simply join again. Ofcourse, they can ban you again and after that you can unban yourself again... and that can go on for a while :)

Sidenote: Unbanning yourself can be accomplished by downloading a third-party program, which is considered a hack by Blizzard and therefor not allowed on Battle.net. But using it once in a while to piss them off if they banned you for no reason is a good revenge.

No, what I hate is people who ban for dl on sunken defense advanced maps, some idiot forgot to change name after editing.

OK, now I 've had enough with booting and banning. It's not only annoying to see that someone has done that in the first place, but when you get booted or banned and want to trie to join another game, you mostly don't see any games! ( I don't know how, nor why but it is. At least when I get banned or booted...). Then you must shut down StarCraft and get your CD out of it's drive. Then you must start up StarCraft again and connect to a server (which takes about 5 minutes). Show some appreciation and sympathy to other players, you banning and booting freaks! (I am only talking to those who do it to annoy others!) Because sometimes it can be usefull, like when another player is being agressive, or offends others. Banning and booting should only be used in such case! When you want someone to leave, you can just ask him or her. Most players will do it if you just ASK (at least; I would do it)

Then you must shut down StarCraft and get your CD out of it's drive. Then you must start up StarCraft again and connect to a server (which takes about 5 minutes). You must have a shitty comp, I can do that in less than a minute if I have to. Which is never.

There is jerks being kicked and kicking people, live with it.
You cannot do anything to that, as I said, host games if you're so annoyed.

Actually, when the games go black and it just shows a blank, black screen with no games, all you have to do is create a game. Exit it, then the games should show again.

If you ever get booted from b.net for like 15 minutes because of like typing one letter repeatedly in the channel (what i did) you just go to your starcraft and delete the file called bncache. as far as i know its bnasically a cache of all you do on bnet, so if you delete it, the game wont knoe you got booted from bnet or banned from some players game anymore. Also, even if you dont want to use itto get out of banning (i only do that when people dont have a good reason, like when i ask why I was banned, he/she says: Because i felt like it. Or because you have to dl the map but its taking you really fast and they ban u anyway.) You should delete it periodically because it doesnt really have any use, and it gets extremely large very easily.

I don't see the big deal about getting banned or the point of rejoining.

Look at it from the hosts and other players point of view if you keep rejoining. You just look like a sorry dick head!

There are some hosts who ban for no reason but usually thew have one or two good reasons.

Try hosting your own games or just live with it.

If I get banned or booted I won't evn TRY to rejoin their game. Like I would still want to play with those fuckers that banned or booted me without any reason.
