For those who have been living in a cave for the past few years, Pamela Anderson has Hepatitis C, an incurable liver inflammation that is contracted by shared needles or other forums of blood to blood contact.

My question, do you find Pamela Anderson to still be as attractive as she was prior to the knowledge of her disease? Normally, the type of sexual attraction that one might have towards a woman of her type would be based on sexual thoughts or dreams. Large breasts, voluptuous lips and long flowing blonde hair.. these are characteristics that many males place upon their ideal woman, yet there is a tragic flaw, we could not conceivably be with this ideal woman, she is flawed from the inside with a virus that would prevent sexual intercourse for any man that doesn't wish to take the gamble. While hepatitis C is rarely transmitted during intercourse, it is still a definite possibility.

So with this factor known, and the obvious stigma attached to this woman, why do magazines continue to promote her as the most beautiful woman in the world? Why does she continue to pose for layouts, why are we expected to find this woman attractive anymore? Mind you, if this were a relation or my wife, I would stand by her side and love her no less, but as a distant sex symbol, I find her very unappealing in a sexual sense, all the while still recongnizing her to be extremely beautiful.

Does such a disease cause a woman to be any less sexual in your mind, or do you still drool just as you did prior to the knowledge of her infection? Mind you, this can be applied equally to men and women and with a variety of STD's, but for the sake of argument, I am using the example of Ms. Anderson.

Note: If you fail to find Pam to be attractive, this question doesn't apply to you.

Well, for one, some people may not know she has Heptitus C. They will still drool over her.

Duddits, for one, hasn't found Pam to be that sexy. Sure, tits twice the size of my head are a novelty, but just think. You could get knocked out if one of them things smack you in the head while you are having sex with her. Duddits also likes brown/black hair as opposed to blonde. Just Duddits thing, I guess you could say.

Besides that, of coures Duddits would drool over her. Just because she has some disease doesn't meen she less sexy (unless it does make her less sexy). Whoever said beuaty is only skin deep is correct. Expecially when their boobb are the size of watermellons.

Even though I don't find Pamela Anderson to be an attractive woman, I think the question on itself is answerable even if you aren't attracted by her per se.

My answer would be, if I'm attracted entirely by someone's looks and not by their character, then yes something like knowledge of an STD would make that person less attractive. When there's just a shred character or persona involved though, that would complicate the matter.

Duddits would have to agree with that. If it were somebody that he knows personally, then it wouldn't matter a bit whether they have AIDS or a cold sore (not that'd Duddits would have sex with them if they had AIDS). If he would have though they were attractive before, they'd still be afterwards.

But if it were someone like a glorified sex figure, Duddits would probably would be split between that fact that they have God-like beuaty and that they are black (figurativly) on the inside. He would find them attractive in a way, but it'd be a turn-off in another.

I don't find Pamela Anderson to be too attractive, but I can still answer the question.

I think that physical attraction and mental attraction are different things. It would not alter her physical "sexiness" in any way, but yes, it would always be in the back of your mind should you think about having sexual intercourse with her. But when you aren't thinking about things like that, I doubt having an STD would affect my sexual attraction to them much.

I've always thought she had a remarkably large forehead. Has anyone else noticed this?

You know, I almost immediately considered closing this, but I actually read the post. You're in the clear for this forum on this topic.

A person may have diseases and still be physically/mentally attractive, but I doubt I could enter a relationship with them more than friends.
