Creep on water?
Is is possible to make creep apear on water? SCXE lets me place colonies on water, but displays no creep.
And if there is creep on water, can land units walk on it?

No, unless you maybe mod it...

Keep asking around. You might get something from someone wiser than me.

If you want to make an underwater section, place pylon auras around the area. It'll make it look like its underwater.

You can get starforge (don't know exactly where to get it, do a google search), go to the sprites layer, and you should be able to put some down on the map from there. Make sure to make a backup, though. Starforge has been known to be... unreliable. ;)

I'm the only one on these forums who knows how to do walk on water..?
Make a new map, all terrain of 'water'.
Place a platform, aboiut 10x10 of 'null'
Place hives until the platform is filled with creep.
Place a location on the other side of the map.
Place any unit on the platform.
Make a trigger that says that unit has to go to the location (use 'preserve trigger')
Viola...

There wil be about 15 seperate battles and only 1 small battle is a water one... (It's a Map based on Evangelion, and yes i know there are already evangelion maps out... i hav six of them , all but one of which suck, and that one is a unfinished beta)
So that prolly won't work...
Besides, i don;t want to rely on glitches. Suspension of disbelief is good, but still secondary to playability.

You could probaly use any walkable terrain then place floor traps owned by P12 or any other neutral players. And then invince them should they get damaged by splash attacks.
The effect will look like you're standing on water. The con will be that it'll take up quite a lot of units so you might reach the unit limit much earlier.

I don't quite see how that would work? Floor traps don;t look liek water to me...

I'll post a screenshot about it from my Elite Soldiers RPG. Wait a moment...

Wont it look like creep on water if you just put any walkable terrain with creep on it? The creep covers the ground, which is surrounded by water. Voila. But you'd have to use a terrain that doesent show outside of the creep.
