Fraid not. Out of the 200~ regular Warboards members we have only 3 or four girls.
Actually, I think I can name them all...
JenJen, chibi, kongurous and RelinnaIonna, but she's been a bit absent recently..
I don't know how many of them are gamers, though...

mordecai is a girl too.

The vast majority of gamers are guys. This is due to that guys tend to be more into technology and pick up on how to play a game faster. This has lead to the gaming industry weighted towards topic guys would find appealing. Is it possible for a girl to be as good at a game or learn it as fatt as a guy? Sure, and it is becoming more and more common.

I don't know how the "Giving Sex To Mordecai" thread turned out. Did we all decide Mordecai was a guy or girl? Seal, who currently resides in the twilight zone and not on our plane of existence, is also female.

As for female/male gamers at large, linked is an excellent brochure full of stats from 2004. Here's some of the big ones: The average age of video game players is 29 (wha?). Sex breakdown: 59% are male, 39% are female, 2% are Michael Jackson (+/- a 2% Michael Jackson margin of error).

And yes, kong is a girl... I mean, if she was a he, wouldn't you find it just the slightest bit odd that she used to be the spam QUEEN?

EDIT: And yes, I forgot Seal... but she's not so much a girl as a disembodied soul-collecting entity o_O

Err... I don't know who this "Zelteris" person is, although I am rather offended that you attribute your sig to her, despite that I made it...:mad:
I can assure you, however, that Markpyro is a guy :)

Well to tell you honestly there aren't many female gamers where I grew up but boy the ones that are here can kick your butt easy.

Yesterday I almost got beaten by a girl at Counter-Strike after loosing 1 game at Brood War and 1 game at Warcraft 3.

Good thing she couldn't aim as good as me :)

We do have a few regulars that are female, but, as the others have said, they are heavily out numbered by the guys. Our late GiaDragoness was a girl too. (A random question that just popped up, at what point do you stop calling them girls and switch over to women?)

Anna (Chibi) plays videogames, but for the most part they're non-games. She likes Nintendo64 for Harvest Moon and she loves the WB arcade.

Seeing as how many of our Warboard.org members weren't around to see my thread when I had "come out of the closet" about my gender (which caused quite a stir I might add) at Blizzforums, then it isn't uncommon to have peeps mistake me for that of a male. I prefer having people see me from my posts and not from my gender, to be honest.

Excuse me but this is the first case of any gender notices I've noticed anywhere in the Net not including a few interesting things I saw bout a year ago but that's too funny to tell :)

Anyway I am ready to take on any girl/woman at starcraft, my only condition is that the time is from 8:00 to 13:00 on the +3 hours GMT time and the server is Headoff.
