I am sorry if I seem rude but I have to speak my mind... lately television show quality has just been going from good, to bad, to worst.... and then there is not worth watching quality but things haven't gotten that bad :P I am noticing dozens of these new "swap" shows coming on TV, so far I have noticed.... Wife Sawp, Boss Swap, Mom Swap, Vacation Swap, and I bet next there will be Pet Swap!
w00t t3h 0h my g0shor5 t3H 133337 p37ors g3ttin sw4pped!!11!(one)
I can see it now... "2 families trade pets for one week, will they survive? will they learn to constrain themselves from their inner animal? Watch Pet Swap and find out! Start at 9:00 Pm, 8 central."
Do you think it will actually get that bad? Or will TV show providers grow a brain?

Heh, that's why I stopped watching TV. I haven't watched a single show for almost a year and a half now. Sure, I watch the occasional news or a show when someone else is watching it, but never sat down and watched a series of shows like I used to.
I don't know why I stopped. I'm actually glad that I did. I have much more free time. :)

Damn right
I'm tired of seeing crap on TV. But I'm even more tired of seeing people love that crap, I mean its ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised to see "Pet Swap" on TV anytime soon...Oh no, this is the end of civilization as we know it.

Ya, no crap. Heck, movie makers suck0rz now too. Come on, their imagination is so limited that they have to rely on books/comics to make money. Disney may suck now, but least Lilo n' Stich was original, as well as Disney classics. Seriously, animated movies will always win over with me if they keep jacking out movies like Catwoman.
I have to admit T.V. writers/producers don't even have two braincells to speak of... but some shows break the surface of stupidity and are pretty good. Like Mythbusters, Spongebob Squarepants (which got cancelled :() Stargate SG1, Enterprise (which also got cancelled :() and X-Play which got cancelled and was brought back :D. Unfortunatly most good T.V. shows get cancelled in favour of so called "Reality TV" which is like a bad soap opera. (not that there are any good ones) Movies on the other hand are still pretty good and depending on what comic or book its based on they can be very good or doorstop matierial. *coughcoughCatwomancough* So all in all TV is doomed and if stupidity is anythiing like the plague it resembles movies are doomed along with civilization itself.

I must concur with most of you. To put it quite succintly, TV nowadays is straight bs. I wouldn't know if there are indeed any good new programs out there right now because I personally weaned myself from TV for quite a while now, much like Black.Ice above me. But if the public wants it, then there will always be a market for such simple, pointless things.
