For future times Werewolf, please refrain from asking what's going on with BF, it's rather rude. Their forum will be up in the future.

I agree. Let's try and keep these two forums seperate.

With it down I can't play in the arcade. Otherwise, I am happy that is down.

Why would you be happy? I don't see why anyone should wish harm upon BF, it was a great site back in the day, and it still is a decent site with a thriving community.

It's fine to wish good for Warboards :D, but I find it rather inane to wish bad upon another site like BF, when it's offered all of us so much in the past.

However, I do wish we could get some more people at Warboards, it gets lonely sometimes, waiting for people to reply :P.

I have offered so much to the BF community in the past and what did I get in return? Nothing, but a ban cannon to my ass. Thanks but no thanks.

Yes, but there was a time when you did enjoy BF, or you wouldn't have stayed for so long :).

Up until the last 5 months, there really WAS no reason as to why I should have stayed at BF anymore. I was basically planning on leaving BF anyway. AJ had just given me an incentive to leave. I have not felt any guilt or shame for my decision.

The place was enjoyable until newbs, idiot mods and admins who didn't do their job, and lord glorfindel wannabes took over the place. Some people were cool like Joshua, Mojo, and Nivek but the place went down the toliet seat faster then my shit.

Indeed indeed. I don't blame you for leaving. I was getting rather tired with the scenery myself :tu:. Which is why I primarily post here now :).

Huge changes are going on over there. It's becoming like a new place. In a way, I love it now more than ever. I for one, like both of these boards, and I don't intend on leaving either one. Although, it is a little discouraging to see all this angst. :(

Just because it is becoming a new place, doesn't mean that it IS a good place, TGB. That is the problem, all of what you are seeing from the Legacy staff had been premeditated from as early as one month before the Org network had decided to leave the BF community. There is much more that is going on to which many of you do not understand.

If so, a more important question is, Why?

Black Hawk: Well I'm glad someone's happy to see me. :) I'll be around a little more nowadays probably. And some of the new things are: The Arcade (Obviously), a new batch of mods, a new batch of great members, and bunches of new little features are flowing in too. I'm happy it's overcoming the turmoil of the past year.

Well, okay. I can't tell you what to think. All I know is that I like the things and people at both sites, and seeing the residual anger is a little disheartening.

The only problem with BF and Warboards coexisting together is that they're really quite alike. They have a lot of the same members, they're based on the exact same games and company, they're both built using VB, etc. etc.

Really, other than the look and the administration, there's little difference. People don't want to go to two different sites to get the exact same information, so most people will chose one board to primarily visit. Thus, there's always that chance that one board will do extremely well, while the other fades away.

This is why I think it's imperative that both boards find something that makes them distinctly different so that there's reason to still visit both :\.

Anyway, just my two cents.

The new mods and arcade and members have been coming or have come already. Other than that, I haven't seen much. I am actually pleased with the mod choices over there for who to fill in. I'm not saying the mods that left//got banninated were a good thing, but the people that were to fill in for their mistake were good choices. The new members though... I feel like more and more newbies invade forums everyday... I swear, there are too many anymore... Oh well... o.O

I'd say half and half are actuall b00bs they just all seem like n00b becuase they are new on the forum, some act like they have been there some time becuase they finally decided to stop lurking. The Arcade was a silly choice i belive seeing how many games don't expand to new levels it just the same thing over and over (see breakout, invaders, alien thing). New mods are doing ok but it has been 1 year since the most users online has been set....

*Sigh*

I really don't mean to rain down on this thread, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to close this thread, bashing is draining on all, if you wish to bash Bf, please do it with PM, Instant messenger programs, or another forum of choice. Regarding this on the member lounge however, let's please stay away from hatred, I would not want to see a thread "WB sucks" over at BF, I'm sure they would not like to see this activity happening.

Sorry guys.
