WarBoards Game Night: Halo 2

Yes, you did read right! The return of your favorite thread ever (admit it, deep down you know it) is at hand! The return of the WarBoards Game Night! And what better game to kick it off than Bungie's epic FPS, Halo 2? So, come one, come all to the Halo 2 WBGN!

When?: Saturday, Feb 12th, 2005 at 7:00 EST

Where?: Xbox Live

Who?: ZDS (me) and BattleCruiser will be running the event.

What Gametypes?: Here's what we're hoping to get in:

CTF Wraiths on Coagulation
Swords on Lockout
Team Deathmatch on Burial Mounds
FFA Deathmatch on Midship
Oddball on Foundation
Single Flag CTF on Zanzibar
Whatever else you guys want!

Please RSVP in this thread if you're planning to come. We're currently estimating a turnout of 6 to 8 people, but if more come, all the better!

For those of you who dont know what zombies is, let me go over the rules, its awesome when playing with a lot of people who know how:
At the beginning, say you have 8 players, 1 person is the zombie, and the rest are allied to each other. The map settings will have your first weapon a pistol, and your second a sword. The zombie can only use the sword, and the others can only use pistols. The zombie hunts the other players, and when he kills one, that person switches to his team. When a zombie is killed, the zombie stays a zombie. This goes on until there is only 1 person left who isnt a zombie, and then the person left becomes a zombie, and switches his weapn to Sword, and the previous zombies switch to pistols, which now are not zombies any more.

ZDS, don't worry about the gametypes. I have it all under control. Some of those Bungie made gametypes suck, so custom ones are better. Zombies is a pretty good gametype so we will play a few of those. Of the 3 you named on the thread post, only these are good.

* Swords on Lockout
* FFA Deathmatch on Midship
* Single Flag CTF on Zanzibar- This is the BEST bungie made gametype on a really good map. Will be really fun.
* Whatever else you guys want!- Do a lot of these.

yea, but you die as soon as you kill someone. I cant tell you how goddamn times i have fragged someone, only to have the most unlikely of any of the players to frag me from behind with that goddamn plasma sword!

Halo 2 is not on PC, my friend watches a ot fo Halo two,err....he plays halo on his computer, halo one. HHe yells at me, he says "hey get out of my room I'm changing" then he goes play halo ;)

Alright ZDS, I had an aweosme night saturday, I won every 4/5 games I played. I also found a hilarious style, Everyone is cloaked, no shields, only sniper weapons, additional damage, no damage resisitance ect. It's funny..
