Here's a site that has almost 5000 maps:

w3x are only expansion maps, but if you get the expansion you can still use w3m maps which are for reign of chaos.
What does neghinita mean? Doesnt sound like any Romanian name name ive heard of.

And www.infoceptor.com has a pretty good map archive.

But for .w3x. That is expansion only, which means it's not Reign of Chaos. That'd be why you can't play them. Silly newb :)
