I've been listening to them a lot lately. They have a new album now and it's really sweet (They're a welsh band!) They really changed their sound from their last album. I suggest checking out "The Last Train" it's nice. Anyone else know of them? ^^

i've heard that song quite a few times. it's starting to grow on me. my friend had their older cd and it wasn't very good, from what i can recall... but if they've changed their sound, it's probably for the better :p

I may check them out but most mainstream bands leave me dissappointed. Except for maybe The Used.

Ew ew ew ew ew!!! GET OFF MY EARS!

Ahh, that was no good, in my honest opinion. I'm still wondering if the singer realizes that he's singing out of tune for the majority of that song (The Last Train). I'm also wondering if the people that combined the various sounds and mixed/balanced it realize that they put his voice below the other instruments for the majority of the song (so annoying . . . ). Although I can see why they'd want to, his voice was just so whiny :\.

The guitar just got annoying after the first two runs through that riff (I don't even know if I feel right calling it a riff. He was hitting the same few notes . . . over, and over). I mean, sure, if you find a good riff, play it through the whole song, but that was nothing special!

Bleh, sub-par at best :\.

I like them. Their sound is different form all other emo/ska/punk bands. The guitar riffs are different and the singing is different also.

I'm with Wish on this one... I try to steer clear of mainstream rock, and "The Last Train" is a little too formula IMO

I steer clear of mainstream rock, usually. It's just that i've Listened to the Lost Prophets in the past and the new stuff is really catchy ^^
I didn't enjoy the vocals at first but it grew on me >_< :)

Sounds to me like the vocals are on key. The song as a whole did not really appeal to me. I did like it when the rest of the band all comes in together in the chorus. This part is really cool. But the song is formulaic (not always a bad thing), only it lacks something interesting or unique, in my eyes. I'll try to listen to some other songs by Lost Prophets.

I like the intro with the guitar/screaming right before the distortion starts then the rest of the song I don't like

Haven't heard any of their songs, however my friend (who has practically the same musical tastes as mine) told me to download some songs of theirs, couldn't find any the google way, but I'm gonna look again now that I have a haxxed version of Kazaa :).

I've only heard their one single "Last Train Home." It's OK to listen to but I tend to want to change the radio station now when I hear it come on.
