Well, here's what happened...

My mom got pissed cause I didn't go over my minutes on my cell phone (tell you in a minute about this...) and we got into a yelling fight where she kept calling me a motherfucker and a cocksucker... Well, she told me to "get the fuck out of my house or I'll call the cops on your ass! Your'e 18 now, I don't have to dael with your bullshit!!!"

Here's the story though: last month we conferenced about cell phone use (cause we are all on the same plan) and she told me that we have 1200 mins and I was using 600-some odd of them amongst 3 of us, I should be entitled to only 400. Fine. This last bill came in yesterday and I used only 388 (a significant drop!) So I pleaded my case after she told me I was using "TOO MANY FUCKING MINUTES" even though she said I can use as many of my 400 as I want and as many of the free nights and weekend mins (I used about 1300 of those this month)

So, we got into it about my college applications and scholarship forms and I was already having one of the shittiest days of my life anyway... Long story short she told me I'm a failure to her and the biggest disappointment in her entire life... "I didn't think you were such a fuckin' pussy, Adrian! FUCK YOU!"

Well, I'm staying at my Grandma's house right now and I have so much school stuff to do this weekend without this drama now...

Oh man, I don't know what to say. But I know how it feels (Sort of). My parents sometimes get VERY angry at me (Not as much as your Mom, but still very close) and they try kicking me out. But since I am 14, and they don't want to get into trouble with police and stuff like that, I just stay in the house and they can't do anything about it. Usually it takes a day or two for them to calm down and be nice to me again. Maybe the same will happen to you.

Well, just remember that any problems in her life that cause her to be so angry are not your fault. Hell, having you was not a decision on your part, so she can't pin that "problem" on you. If you can, try to calm down and focus on your schoolwork so that you can get into college. Give your mom some time, and see if your grandparents(if they are friends at all with your mom), will talk to her and try to calm her down.

Also, for the PowerPoint, were you given sufficient time to easily complete it in school, or did you really need the time at home? If your teacher understands that you needed the time, then they'll understand that you weren't able to do it because your mom went on a rampage and kicked you out, and that you'll need time during study halls or after school to complete it. At the very least, try to find a friend that has it, one that would let you finish yours.

Link, It might seem like your mum is having a "really bad case of PMS" but I doubt even then she would kick you out because of a phone bill incident. Maybe things have been building up, just little things that neither of you talk about. There is probably something bothering your mum that you don't know about and no doubt something bothering you that she dosn't know about.

Link, from what you've told us it sounds like your Mom has problems of her own and is projecting her anger on you, without good reason. Of course you have to be sensitive but try telling her to think about why exactly she's angry and what emotions are possibly causing this anger, probably fear of loss or something of the sort. Remind her that while lots of things contribute to a problem, it's her attitude that exacerbates things to the level at which they are now. No I didn't. My mom raised me by herself because my biological father left us when I was 2 weeks old, so she did the best she could to raise me.

I'm not trying to make myself out to be a sissy, but I've been doing something different for the past few years after taking anger counseling - I've been telling people how what they do affects me, as part of the counseling. I haven't been to the counselor in years, but it really helps me to deal with certain things without going insane as I used to, so if counseling to make myself a much more agreeable person makes me a sissy, don't hesitate to say it as long as you mention that (eg. "Link's a sissy cause he takes anger counseling! HAW HAW!").

People seem to think happiness is something that comes to them from without. Happiness is from within. If your existence is perpetually dim, maybe it's because your eyes are closed.

It's not me whose existance is miserable, but I know many of the forumers here who seem to be inauspicious, and I do my best not to make things any worse for them. I believe that if I can do anything, it wouldn't be to add more burden to someone's back. I think that as intelligent forumers here at WB, it is our duty to act as such and not to belittle other forumers, especially ones who are younger than yourself. I will take your advice and will be more of a mature individual, so long as you take mine and become a more considerate member.

I had an Avatar that I liked perfectly fine. Schwitzer decided of his own accord to draw a caricature of me. I did not ask for it. Out of respect and appreciation I now use it as my avatar. Also, I didn't ask anyone to make me a sig. I simply tired of the old one, since it was some text mocking something that happened over 6 months ago.
