well, i think this is the best time to tell everyone that i am leaving warboards, at least for a small amount of time. i just started another college class, i feel like shit, i'm trying to start a music magazine with a few chicks that are into the idea, i'm the mayor of hammond, indiana, and i'm only getting about 3-4 hours of sleep on a good night. i just think it would be in my best interest if i left for a while because i just don't have time anymore to come here, especially with all the newbies and there doesn't seem to be any kind of input sometimes from older members like carny and wrazyr. so, i guess i'll come back from my extended hiatus for good once i finish this college class and graduate in about 5 months... but if i have a good comic i'll post it here

Carny said that he's gone from WB in that he resigned by posting once "I've outgrown you" and just left, and so now I will also. This is my last post for a while, as today ends our grading period and this post marks my 200th post as a WB member. I wish everyone well and hope you all continue to grow as people in your spirtual sense. I can only hope that God may bless you all and thank you all for your words of encouragement.

Dude, first off, I am highly insulted at your pointed opinion. That having been siad, it is just your opinion, but an inflammitory one none the less.

Second, I have not "outgrown" warboards, and as a matter of fact miss the place quite much, but the fact of the matter is that I don't have the time that I used to anymore with all of my business going on to take the time and visit quite as frequently as I once did.

Third, I am not "leaving" persay, but am taking a hiatus to catch up on school work and to start a news magazine, not unlike that of the Rolling Stone

Fourth, Not only am I offended, I am pissed that you can pan me and Carnage off as running away with our tails between our legs... You cannot make a fair judgement, much less that assessment without knowing what both Carny and I have been going through the past few months... I wish that I had more time to discuss this, but I have to leave. I will add an addendum to this either tomorrow or later this week.

I have to agree with AJ. When I go inactive for a little while, I just stop posting, and then come back when I have the time. And I always come back. WB is like crack. You can never really quit (save rehab). =D

Plus, WB makes good material for procrastinating my duties in RL. Although I probably shouldn't do that very much...

People have various responsibilities and duties in their lives. AJ has his network, Link and others have their own personal stuff. I've had a hell of a rough time as well.

We all have different commitments and things that we need to attend to and Link simply said that he's going to be gone for a while. Not a big deal, as people do it all the time. His situation's changed, so he's back.

Now, it is annoying when people say that they have "outgrown" certain things, but it's not that annoying. And Link, you said:

It sounded like you had "outgrown" us too. But from what you're saying, it sounds like you didn't mean it.

by the way, ORG is such a small part of my life it's funny.

somehow the regulars and newcomers as well.. seem to think that Edge, Fenguin, BST, Mystikal, myself and the others somehow dedicate our lives to this network.

I spent roughly 4 hours at the most in a day on warboards. i also own a small company, hope to own another soon.. work for two other companies, spend countless hours with my girlfriend, at my school..

i also have to manage and handle the upkeep of my own household. something i bet 99.9% of you don't even have to consider. i resent when people think they've outgrown this community because i run this place so that people can come together and enjoy themselves.

you can come and go as you please, but i'm sick and tired of little posts every other day about how you're leaving and how you decided your life really wasn't as complicated as you originally made it out to be and then returning.. it's freakin' ridiculous. i don't ask too much, but i can't tell you how much i love to boast about you guys.

this ends now. there will be no pointless leaving and coming and going threads here. at all. if you're leaving on vacation for a while, okay. if you're moving to sweeden, good for you. if you're going to dig to the center of the earth, grand. please share this with us.

if you think that in your own illusions of grandeur that i can stand one more thread that says you're "retiring from warboards" "leaving warboards" "concentrating on life" or anything else than you're mistaken. just GO. if life is that important, than i don't want you to spend another minute on warboards that can be better spent improving and managing your own life.

excuse me, but i thought that my own community was above this crap.
carnage's last message is let alone almost grounds enough for me to simply ban his arse.
you don't just tell the owner of a restaurant that you've outgrown eating there.. you don't tell your boss you've outgrown working for him.. you don't tell your teacher you've outgrown his teachings.. you sit and bare it or you leave.

i will not stand by and let the work of my dedicated staff go by without any consideration.
