idea for a movie?

so i need to write a 15~ page script of a movie. i have foormat and everything else down, but i need an IDEA.

rules- nothing involving gangsters, or when anybody dies. not that its not allowed, but i dont really feel like trying to be "cool"

Gangsters killing people?

Now that that "joke" is out of the way, here's a few real ideas:

1. A paranoid conspiracy theorist watches half of a news report and then jumps to some wild conclusion, like the world is ending and every world government is in on it. We then watch for 12 minutes as he tries to prove his conspiracy theory... and he does (it ends up being true).

2. Someone attends a wedding for a family member in another country. Now, this person has to deal with the culture shock, language barrier, and shockingly bad clothing that go along with being out of your home.

3. Someone decides to download Exploding Fetus' latest album (only the best thing ever to come to country music) off of KaZaa and discovers it's all a setup... and now the MPAA are coming after them. You could switch out music downloading with any other petty crime. Shoplifting, cheating, jaywalking, etc. Just as long as the authorities are going to ridiculous lengths to catch our young criminal.

4. Someone gets locked in a museum filled with surreal art and it all comes to life...

There are tons of ideas a person could come up with. Do you have any preferrences to narrow things down?

Sorry but I'm but I enjoy movies where people are killed, for a cause of course not those movies where some one just goes around shooting people for no reason. Such as war movies like saving Private Ryan for instance, or the God Father now those where good movies.

Someone who get stuck in another country (Say, Croatia, or something) and has no idea how to speak the language or how to get a job. That person finally saves up enough money in that currency (say, Croation Sand Dollars) to buy a flight/train/bus/boat home, and ends up deciding to stay because of all the people who helped him/her out.

Sounds like something I would write...only without the saving part. If Black.Ice's "Real Life" RP hadn't died, you can bet that's how my character would have ended up. No hurt telling everyone now that that game is long gone.

Anyway, I'm more than 2 hours later, so I'll just leave. =D

Nobody dies?? WHAT KIND OF A MOVIE IS THAT??? Here at my university, we are encouraged to make scary horror films. :)

Here's a suggestion-- make a movie about the discrimination of... of... of... some race in some part of the world. Make it a story about a family.

What about a movie about a future TV show that is basically like a deranged version of all the reality shows on now? The name of the show would be "Maniac on Drugs" and heres how it would basically go:

You get a cargo van and stock it full of ammunition, artillary and lots of drugs.

You get a maniac, any maniac at all.

You clear it with the local PD to videotape everything the maniac does beforehand and then you unleash him and his cargo van onto New York City or Chicago.

You do this in two other cities with two other maniacs.

After a period of a week, you bring them back and have them fight it out in a every man for himself battle royale.

The winner gets to go to Disney World... with his cargo van :)
