Bored at 5:12 in the morning.

So I thought I'd make a thread. Who knows why...

Well, actually, there's a few reasons.

1. I can't sleep. A friend of mine nearly did something that he would have regretted, and I've been awake ever since.

2. I needed to write some things in my livejournal (Geno1986 is my username. Reply if you like, please ;)) along with my Xanga (Again, Geno1986 is the username). Fun stuff when you actually have a lot of time to type. Both are the same exact entry, and I use them both since everyone I know uses one or the other... Heh...

3. I can't play Morrowind any longer. I've killed enough people in that game with my uber 1337 archer (Ok... So he's level 1... And I just pick people off with my bow from high places... But it works! ;)), so I'm done for a while on that...

4. I felt like doing weird things, so I put my picture on Hot or Not, and here it is: http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=BLELKMS&key=QLC Wewt. I'm crazy. Watch how bad my rating goes...

5. I wanted to ask everyone what would be their personal theme song? I mean, mine's ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man, but what's yours? I picked mine because I always look sharp when I dress up. Normally, I'm just... Well... Normal... *Hears a ton of 'Duh's' in the background...), but when I want to... Heh... Let's just say it's sharp... ;)

6. I wanted to say this: I'm recording my life on my camera. I've broken my life at EIU into little bits and pieces, and I'm going to meld them together into one long movie... Can anyone suggest a program that would allow me to do that for free, or will I have to buy one? I won't pirate it, so if I have to buy it, throw me a price range, how well liked it is, etc. Linkage is always appreciated. But once it's done, I'll ask for some hosting from somewhere, or I'll send it through Gmail... Or something... I'll figure it out. But eventually I'll get it out there, and all the Warboardians can check out how I live my life here. Plus, you'll get to see some of my friends like Eric, Jon, Tyler, JC, Colleen, etc., which'll be really neat!

Hey Geno, you're not too bad looking :P Can't wait to see video your making. I've always wanted to do some filming and video editing, but I've never had a camera to do it with.

I'm making movies with Pinnacle Studio (http://www.pinnaclesys.com/ProductPage_n.asp?Product_ID=1501&Langue_ID=7). It's not terribly expensive (80 bucks) and I was able to get it off the shelf in a retail store. Didn't have to download anything. Right now, in the works, is a movie from uni life, which we'll show the upcoming freshmen to show them just how crazy they should be. You probably won't be able to get a free program that lets you do some really good stuff.

I have no idea what my theme song would be, but it would be composed by Vangelis, and it would be a very nice flowing march that never really went completely haywire (like the Mythodea march does). Not heard anything from Vangelis? That's terrible, fix it now! -_-

If you're looking for a free video editor, there's always VirtualDub. Although it could have more features, I've yet to find a better editor.

haha, 5:12 AM... that reminds me of when a few days ago my smoke detctor went psychotic and started bleeping (very) loudly for two minutes, stopping for thirty seconds, and repeating... at 5:45 AM. I eventually decided to violently pull it off of the ceiling with my hammer, but reconsidered and just took the battery out.

Personal theme song... either 3 Doors Down - Kryptonite, or the Imperial March from Star Wars. Man gotta love the Imperial March and the many many variants of it from newer SW movies. :D

I have the room done, the lobby, parts one and two, the RHA meeting, parts one and two done... I'm going to get a tour of campus put together when it gets a LITTLE warmer outside. If it's like 40 degrees, I'll do it, but as it's 20 out right now... Yea, screw that...
