Update from PC!!

Alrighty peeps!

Here I am once again, man oh man have I missed ya'llz! I'm sure Geno aka Larry has been updating you peeps on to where I've been and all that stuff. And I need to hurry cuz I'm being counted down on this comp...

Okay! Currently I have just gotten over a stupid cold--I'm healed in Jesus Name! :D lolz--Also, I'm in a drum class and I'm learning how to read music and I'm developing my skill on the congas/timbales and drums :)

My church is starting rehearsals for our Easter production and I am automatically involved since I'm a musician--Also, since I am a contractor's daughter, lolz, I know my way around tools so I have volunteered to help build the sets (And I'm the only girl on the construction team! Yeah high five! lolz :P) which is pretty awesome.

Also let's see......OH!! I now have two jobs instead of one. I work at Taco Bell but I also have a job on the side on the weekends for Moving On Entertainment. I am a parking attendant and they pay me $10.00-$12.00 an hour just to do it :D Which is some good money on the side considering that I work eight or more hours every time I do that.

And then, I am being promoted to Manager at Taco Bell! They are training me right now to be a manager--It's so awesome, I love working with people--I have lots of fun doing that :) My manager's above me love how I handle the customer's, because I take time to make them feel welcome and I talk to them as if I'd known them for a while and I've even made a couple friends with the regulars who come in which makes business go up. Since I've been hired, profits for Taco Bell have gone up %100!! Cuz I ushered in a new fresh way to treat customer's which cause them to come back. And what do I do? I basically treat them the way I'd like to be treated.

Anywayz--Yeah I got a big promotion com'n up--Also! I am currently in the process of getting my driver's license and car. Man I'm so blessed--My dad has offered to pay all of my expenses while I'm in college, including my car insurance and all of my college tuition. He's also gonna buy my car for me so that way I can get around!

Another thing, I am saving up for my drumset--Which is paid in full in Jesus Name! =D I've already got some money set aside in Guitar Center gift cards--So that way I won't be tempted to spend it.

Let's see...Anything else...? OH! My best friend Alyssa and my brother Jason are dating now! It's so cute, but then again it's different because now her attention is diverted towards my brother more and I'm getting kinda jealous but then again I'm telling myself to get over it, lolz.

Also, I have found out over the course of months that I am going to be a missionary as my calling in life for what God has for me! That's so awesome! I love to travel so this is perfect! I'm not sure if I'll be a missionary full time or part time but I'm starting to believe that it'll be full time--So who knows? I'll probably be living in Thailand permanantly later on in life.

OH oh!! My sister--That's right! My sister has decided to come back to our family so that we all can have a relationship again! It's so awesome I mean....Seriously--It's an answered prayer! I've been praying that she would come back to the Kingdom of God and not only that but have a relationship with my family once again. And here it is, 2005 and it comes to pass!

Let's see anything else that I can think of......Well, if you want to know what else is happening with me, just talk to Geno aka Larry or Gonissa. They always know what's goin' on with me cuz we call each other all the time =)

But anywayz, that's all I can think up right now cuz my time is going down. I'll post around a bit and then I'll have to go. Well, it's been great posting here! *Hugz to everyone*

I was under the impression that she is on the construction team because she knows how to use tools, not because she is the daughter of a contractor. Also, there is no evidence from her post that the spot on the construction team was given out because she was a relative of or close to the person in charge. Alrighty! Continuing on with the updates of my life! :D

Church has been awesome! I am growing in the Lord :) I've been learning a lot of great things when it comes to faith and I'm excited about it!

Also--the 411 on Geno aka Larry and I--Yes he is my homie, and I used to like him...but we no longer go that way anymore. I dunno if he told ya'llz who knew but--We both obeyed God by not getting involved with one another--So praise God for that! I have met a wonderful young man named Matt and I am waiting for him so to say ;)

Let's see....Oh! The Easter production at my church is going great! It ministers to me by just watching the rehearsals....I don't know if I mentioned this before but...I'm on the dance team for the play as well! Talk about getting outta my comfort zone majorly, lolz. I like to dance, but only with my homies, not in public, lolz. So dancing for Jesus--Has gotten me to gain more confidence in myself as well as lose weight :)

Which reminds me! I've gone down two sizes! Praise God for that! I asked God to give me the discipline in my life that I needed to lose the weight that was gained by eating Taco Bell, lolz. And I've gone down back to my regular size! And I am still losing weight! For those of you who remember--I asked about losing weight and all that stuff and you guys gave me an excellent response--Well here I am telling you now that my new diet and excercise plan works great and I've been getting compliments everyday of ppl telling me that I'm looking a lot thinner and how I look good and....Man, you have no idea how good it is to hear stuff like that to a person like me.

I am very....What's the word I wanna use? (It's like 1:30 in the morning so my brain is tired, lolz :P) Not insecure but--Oh! low self-esteem, that's what I have about myself. I am struggling with that issue right now but I'm believing God that I'll get over it! I've always seen myself as ugly but ya know what? My best friend here in Cali, told me that I need to gain my self-esteem through God and not man.

I was looking to the wrong thing--I was hoping to gain esteem through ppl. And I can't do that--I need to be confident in God and know who I am in God! So here I am admitting to ya'llz--God is good and He is greatly to be praised because He has helped me sooo much in issues going on in my life right now! I've been struggling with my finances lately due to my use of it elsewhere--Also--I'm just not using wisdom.

You need to use wisdom when it comes to your money so that way you can be prosperous and bless others because of it! I am not using wisdom, I am being very foolish and I am paying for it dearly through bills and doing what I can to get out of debt.

I feel so stupid cuz I owe Gonissa and Geno their Christmas gifts STILL!!! I have them all packaged up in their boxes waiting to be sent to their homes! But I just need the money to send them......That is how foolish I am being with my money....:| So if ya'llz can keep me in prayer there.

Now I am trying to think up anything else that I need to say.....Oh! My driver's test.....I am gonna be taking it soon. Pray that I have favor with those who have authority over me! That's what my first name means anywayz, Grace=The Divine Favor of God =) I'm gonna be taking it at the West Covina DMV here in Cali and I'll be using my boss's car. She found out I am taking my driver's test and asked me why I didn't let her know sooner so that way I can use her car, lolz. She told me to tell me when and she'd let me take her car there. I was like, "Cool!"

Okay so that is happening.....Anything else? Ummm......Oh! I have recorded some songs of me and my youth group doing Praise and Worship! I'm on the drums! I recorded it so you guys can hear me and what I sound like. I messed up a few times, but I'll see if you guys can spot my mistakes, lolz.

Oh one more thing! I met another conguera!! You know how awesome that is for me?? For those of you who don't know what a conguera is--It's basically another chick who plays the congas just like me! Her name is Nedia, and she really encouraged me and told me to keep on developing my skill. She asked me if I was learning on my own or taking lessons. I am learning on my own which is what I told her. But I did mention that my mom bought me a DVD of Carl Perazzo and Raul (something...I can't remember his last name, lolz). They are the percussionists from Santana.

She smiles wide at me and goes, "Oh yeah! They are great guys!" I looked at her a bit surprised and say, "Yeah I heard they were! They can do some awesome stuff." She nods her head and says, "Yeah, they really are great guys. The next time I meet up with them, I'll give you a call and we can hang out and learn stuff!" I like literally dropped my mouth open.

Me....Grace Amber*Last Name*, will be learning stuff from the percussionists from Santana!!!! That is so awesome it's great! I'll be developing my gift for Jesus!! Man, God is so good.....And I won't ever stop proclaiming that as long as I live.

Well, I need to get to bed. It's gonna be two soon. GN ya'llz! *hugz* Much love and be blessed!

Like I said--I'm not using wisdom with my money. I just got paid this Tuesday and where will about 80% of my check go? Towards my bank cuz I owe them :( Next I take out my tithe and offering and the after that....I'll probably have like five to ten dollars left.

I plan to get caught up next pay check. Also! My tax return is almost $2,000 dollars this year! But that money is going towards my family and one outstanding bill that I must pay to AT&T Wireless. Man I do not like them--They are charging me this insanely amount just because Nextel switched me like two weeks earlier than my contract ended with them......But I need to pay it off to get outta debt so that way I can save my money and use it wisely like towards my car :D

Which reminds me! God has blessed me with the opportunity to buy a Mercedes Benz! One of my co-workers is selling it to me and has given me a VERY special price. All I can say is God is good cuz we both know it was God that told her to drop the price for me that low :)

Well, let's see.....Much has happened in my life since I last posted to keep ya'llz updated.....

Hmmm....Where to begin...? Well, my church's Easter production was AWESOME!! Which reminds me--Happy Belated Easter/Resurection Sunday ya'llz! lolz.

Church was great! We had our Easter Production on March 25th (Good Friday) and March 27th (Easter/Resurection Sunday). Man it was sooo great! The anointing just moved and ppl accepted Christ into their hearts......I loved it! I cried soo much during the play as if I had seen it for the first time! It was just so strong and powerful--It was like the anointing was saturating the whole play with every single line we spoke or sang. Any movement we made was made for God and it showed God and that God loves us. Everything was just so beautiful!

If I could, I would put the video on the internet, but I can't do that cuz I don't even have the DVD, lolz--But I will get it soon!

Anywayz--Moving on......God is good! Like He always is--I finally got my 1st promotion a while ago! Along with my FULL raise! Yay! Thank you Jesus! Also--I'm so excited about this--But the guy that I like....His name is Matt--His parents invited me to go with them to the opera, along with Matt, so that way we can hang out! I'm so jolly! lolz.

Oh! I am also on my way to become a Consultant for the company called "Partylite". It's a big company back east that's for sure. I never even heard of Partylite until this year. But my mom's best friend is a unit leader and it is through her that we get all these free candles and stuff cuz she buys them for us We are soo spoiled with Partylite everywhere, lolz. I like it! It's a great company! Anybody wanna buy candles? Come to me! It doesn't matter what state you are in--I can still get it to you! Remember--Mother's Day is com'n up ya'llz! Get yo mama something that smells nice and looks beautiful at the same time!

lolz--Moving on......Well, I don't know if I have told ya'llz this but....I am getting free drum lessons! There is this awesome guy at my church who has been playing the drum for over 22 years and ,an--This dude can jam! He is so awesome! Well, he wanted to bless my family so he decided to sow seeed by giving all of us free drum lessons. And that's everything included! He's teaching us rythms, how to read sheet music, different styles--Everything! He's teaching me, my brother, and my little sister because we all play the drums--And we all do it for Jesus too!

Well, my little sister would be the only one who is in a secular band.....She and her band plays Korn and Metallica and what not. Honestly--I like Metallica, and I like Korn--If it wasn't for the words that they sing and the mood they create--I would soo listen to them every day! I really like Metal, it's awesome! I'm sure that's something ya'llz never thought would come outta my mouth, but it has! I like all that cymbal crashing and double pedal madness, it rocks!

But anywayz, yeah, my little sister would be the only one to play secular music. She's really good too. She's the drum captain of her drumline in school, and she's a Junior! Pretty awesome accomplishment if you ask me

So yeah.....Ummm...Let's see....Oh! My home girl Darlene and I are discussing the topic of moving in together. We're praying about it though, we don't wanna rush into things cuz we just want to--We wanna do what God has called us to do and if this is a part of His plan to have what He wants for us both to work--Then we'll do it! If it's only gonna bring disaster upon us--Then no thank you. Cuz we both are definately called to the mission field so sooner or later we'll have to rent our house out as we go about the nations of the world like Africa and Thailand preaching the gospel!

Oh--Another thing......During my church's Easter Production Rehearsal--I was walking through the halls of my church when I spilled and fell from a puddle of water. I landed right on my left knee and because of that--I almost stopped dancing for the play! As soon as that happened I was like, "Oh heck no in Jesus Name I'm healed!" lolz. My knee swelled up like mad and turned all purple and blue. It still hurts to this day honestly (I slammed it on the floor like two weeks before Easter.) but every day I am supernaturally recovering because I expect the supernatural to follow me wherever I go! And yeah yeah yeah--I may talk differently but I care not. I am constantly renewing my mind with the word of God and I'm not ashamed to speak my faith about it. If you think about it--Whatever someone says out of their mouth is what they have planted in their hearts.

And what is in my heart? The Word of God! I'm not your ordinary Christian ya'llz--I walk by faith and not by sight! I see the invisible and DO the impossible! Which reminds me--I got this really cool "Jesus Rocks!" poster from Spencers, lolz. Spencers always has cool stuff about Jesus. I know they are supposed to be gag gifts or whatever--But I really like them! Like that whole "Jesus is my Homeboy" thing (I dunno if any of ya'llz have seen that back east but it's really popular down here in Southern Cali) I went and got the spiral notebook to take notes in at church cuz it is true! Jesus is my homeboy! Homeboy is "modern terminology" for friend and it says in the Bible that Jesus is our friend, so--It coincides with the Word of God! lolz....My mom got all annoyed with me and said it was disrespectful--I thought it was awesome.

Let's see....Anything else.....Oh! I'm going to Universal Studios tomorrow! Well, today now...Man, I need to get to bed or else I won't be able to stay up with everyone--GN ya'llz! Peace out and be blessed!

You aren't the first to inquire about my mom's late tumour, lolz. I remember Werewolf asked last year about it. Well guess what? She's healed! I can only give the glory to God cuz He's responsible for it :D My whole family spoke our faith and didn't even worry about it. God healed her a long time ago last year...Man, God is soo good! I love Him dearly for everything He's done!

Whattup Pawn??! :D Yes, I always do post like that. I am very happy! All the time, I mean yeah--I have my moments (Nissa and Geno know that, lolz) but it's the joy of the Lord that's inside of me. And about that evangalist comment--lolz, funny thing--I sorta am in a way already. I know God has called me to travel (http://searchmiracle.com/text/search.php?qq=TRAVEL) to other countries and preach the gospel, so there is definately gonna be some evangalistic work goin' on as well! I've been to Peru and Mexico already--I'm wait'n to go to Thailand and Africa next! So yup--You're talk'n to a future evangalistic missionary chick!
