Sorry to say this, but wrong forum. This should be in the Member's Lounge. The Role-Playing forum is for post based gaming. A mod will fix this shortly.

I don't play it. Sorry.

Yes, I've clocked Neverwinter Nights twice. It's a great game :)

Both times I played as a Sorcerer. A trick I used was to pick up all sorts of junk and sell it so my gold was up through the roof. You can buy a lot better items then you can find, so I'd suggested checking the merchants (especially in later acts).

I can't really remember what items I had, but as I said, your best bet is to check with the merchants.

I played the single player of NWN, and frankly, I would have died of boredom if I didn't stop playing :P. I played as a few characters : A pirate (fighter with dual rapiers and a high parry skill), a sorceror, and a cleric.

I got the farthest with my Sorceror (I think to the third or fourth city, clearing out every single quest in each city I visited.

Anyway, the gameplay was beautiful. I really enjoyed how they layed out skills and spells and such. I loved the music, the atmosphere, everything about it. The first city alone was beautiful, and the game was massive. It would have been a great game, if not for one thing:

EACH CITY WAS A VIRTUAL MIRROR OF THE LAST CITY! Anyway, I hated how every city had the main city part, and then a few different quests north, south, west and east. It just got so boring, finishing these completely inane quests, just so I could progress the storyline. Every time I got to a new city, it felt like I was starting the game all over again. Nothing really carried over, other than the character. I wouldn't have minded so much, if there was some variation at all, but the repetitiveness was relentless.

Anyway, [/Rant]. It was a great game, although I wouldn't go through it again :P.

NWN does great justice for the sorceror, as for the d+d its based on, the sorceror gets a few perks but gets assraped otherwise

I've only played a bit at a friends, great game, fun, and some cool ideas (go go Sidekicks :) no robin though :( ). My friend (I played on his account) was a fighter, lvl 17 or something (a high thing, below 19 though). And that's all I know, he had secksy lookin' armour though.

That little ad bar usually has ads that are related to certain words on the page you are viewing . . .

Yea, it always shows Password stuff when I get here (before I log in and just after) w00t w00t?

And how did you scroll up and see them? Unless you were logged out, they should only be at the bottom....

I am entertained by the fact that he asked us what we'd recommend, everyone tells him how awesome their sorcerors are, and then he makes a fighter :D

Everone seems just to be playing Neverwinter Nights.

How come no one plays Baldurs Gate anymore?

Sure Neverwinter is good looking, adavanced and fun.

But Baldurs Gate was of much better quality.
Look at the story, It was much, much better than Neverwinters story.
And gameplay was Incredible much longer and more fun.

More optionel choices than In Neverwinter and much more well written dialog.

Is there anyone whom remember Baldurs Gate?
