Avitar Problems

I just got a new avi that I want to use here. However, when I upload it, WB says that I cant load a ".bmp" image.

Is there a way for me to move this avitar into one of the appropriate extensions? A.K.A, ".gif" ".jpg" ect.

Open it in paint and choose save as. In the drop down menu, choose gif or jpeg.
