All day today (I've checked SC.org a few times), StarCraft.org leads to a site for DarkStar Communications. Is the site having some technical difficulty, or is this a permanent thing? I'd certainly hope it's just the net acting goofy.

It looks like someone forgot to drop a check in the mail. Hopefully SC.org will get a new server, since I hear they had a lot of trouble with this one (like that wait for uploading maps, how if you take longer than 30 or 60 [one of those two] seconds to upload a map the thing cuts you off).
Turns out the WB help section has a longer thread on this topic.
The new SC.org site is here: http://scorg.darkstarllc.com/

Its just going through an upgrade. Layout change if you read the news article.

I really like how the new site will look, and I'm glad that the transfer from ReconGamer servers has begun. Hopefully, with the fresh start and "in-house" hosting, the staff could re-evaluate a Starchitects web presence on SC.org Premises :)

Will all the downloads and such remain intact through the transfer?

They said they had a problem with a worm virus, but they are going to get everything from the old site back to the new one in no time.
Yup Check out the Feedback Section for more details. (My "Starcraft.org Problems" thread to be exact ;) ) Here (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=6737)'s the link he spoke of. Just for the more slow paced (lazy) fellas... and save time in the search. ;)
Edit add: X-Master, I think a siggy update is in order by now... :smirk:
Btw how did you made that your siggy's image of SC.org linked into the old site?
Anyone who'll be connected in StarChitects page also should take care. I can't find the site with my browsers (FireFox and IE). :(
