Observers

I wanted to observe in a maptha i downloaded and watch the comps play. I downloaded the observer version but whenever i go into the game i always get defeat. Help!!!!:cry:

Most likely you have the problem of A) Observer maps require you to run it in UMS setting causing B) the inability to have computer players. If you want to ob a computer match, you have to set it up with preplaced comps, run the Expansion Custom AI for w/e race (must be set) and then must unally the comps. Oh, and it helps if you set up an ob spot for yourself. I've noticed that, in ob maps, when all the players are gone/absent, then you auto-lose. Anyway, hope that helped some!

Or if it is a melee map then you could always put in a few cheats to watch, neverending game, all vision and kill ur stuff at teh start of the game...

Heh why do you wanna watch comps battle it out anyaway?

Thanks for the help King_Templar. I'll go fix it later. And peace_machine... I'm always interstes to see how the comps build and stuff and no one on BNet will want to play a map that they've never plyed before.

In that case, simply play as Terran on a big map and fly your CC to a corner (in Single Player). Then, just use Black Sheep Wall and save the replay if you must. No point in modifying a map just to do this. Of course, if you want multiple people watching, then you have to change some stuff.
