UPDATE: Man I just sifted through eight pages of posts... and found nothing. I searched for some things within the thread, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything, so I read the whole thing. And the ONLY reference to mini-avatars is on page two. Neo briefly mentions them but the idea goes absolutely nowhere as far as discussion. So either it was mentioned in another thread, or mini-avatars have not yet been adequately discussed. :) just looking out for my peers

AJ's stance on mini-avatars is that it requires quite a bit of hacking into the vB code, and any vB update would wipe all the changes. Since vB is being updated a lot right now, he doesn't want to implement them. It's the same deal with the arcade. Additionally, he's somewhat against the "clutter" aspect that they have.
