Yea! I just bought they're CD Sinner. It's pretty good I think. By far, track 3 (Tear Away) and track 5 (Reminded) are the best on the disc, although Bodies (track 2) won't ever get old. Any of you guys have this CD yet?
Let the bodies hit the floor!

Hm... I think buying Mettalica's self-titled CD would have been a better choice. Enter Sandman is one of the best songs ever made. Hm... or Static-X.
EDIT: Oh God... I typo'd the thread name.

Didn't their lead singer die? Something like that . . . I know SOMETHING tragic happened with that group.
I really only heard the one song, the 'let the bodies hit the floor' one. The video was creep-a-licious. The band seemed like a good group of people, and the guitarist's head was really friggin' huge! The song was decent, though I did grow tired of it.

Yea, that's the sucky part. The band it still new enough that I doubt they'll be able to pull an AC/DC and bring in a new lead singer. I heard that he died about month or two ago. I'm not that sure, but I remember one of my friends telling me about it.

:shiftyl: Donno whether to laugh or to give you a paeg and a half long speech why Metallic is > Linkin' Park anyday.

Hahaha, that's a great quote, Mattimeo (feels so strange calling you that :P).
And obviously Metallica > Linkin Park
I mean, sure Metallica's new stuff isn't very impressive, but just listen to Master of Puppets and just TRY to tell me you didn't cry at the beautiful guitar work;).

Dave died during the Ozzfest tour 2002. He did not OD he had heart failure. They were one of the few bands that were good live. And yes they have finally found a new lead singer, and producing a new album as we speak.

Hmmm . . . I don't know if I'll like this new singer :P. I mean, the only reason I really liked that 'Let the bodies hit the floor' song was because of the singer's great screaming :D.

That might explain why the CD is copyrighted 2001. I did not know this. I'll probably DL one or two songs to see if they are any good with their new singer.

I just heard their new song and it was decent. To bad the lead singer died a couple of years ago. I think Indianapolis is jinxed when big bands are coming or have come. Alien Ant Farm was supposed to come and they were in a bus wreak in Europe. I was looking forward to seeing them (they were replaced by The Why Store). Bush (I think) was involved in a car wreck in Indy. And then the lead singer of a good band dies after an appearence in Indy. Weird.

A good chunk of the threads in here will go off on little tangents like that. For the most part, we are talking about Drowning Pool though.
Hey, what's the name of their new song, out of curiosity? I may have a listen to it . . .

Holy shit, Drowning Pool got a new singer?! Awesome!
What's the name of the new song? I need to download it now!
Eh, it's not that great. I think it was "Step Up," or something like that. I might be wrong. <shrug>

OK, I listened to it on Launch, and like Crion said, it ain't that good. I suppose it's not quite bad -- not quite -- but it sure isn't good. If I ever see the video again I'm going to cry, and probably kill somebody afterward. =/
It isn't that bad. It is decent.

Its called "Step Up" and its got the same catchy lyrical hook as "let the bodies hit the floor." Good song but could get worn out fast.

Yeah I guess the hook is kinda catchy, but that's exactly why I didn't like it: that's all that it is. It didn't have the same energy as "Bodies," but I guess I really shouldn't expect such a quality since they've got a different singer altogether. :p
Meh, I listened to it. Kind of bland IMO.
