Multiple unit select

Is there a way were I can select more than one critter? (Like hold the left mouse button and make a box around the units you want)

you can compare ordinary unit's scripts with the critter's scripts, if you find nothing that might control it than it's hardcoded.
if it's hardcoded, your next best option is to replace hero graphic with critter graphic and use those instead of the original critters.

It is possible that this sort of thing may be editable by stargraft/memgraft, but i don't know. I guess you could check it out if you want to...
