Why you play?

That's it. Why do you play? Fun? Or to Win? ;) I want to say play only to Fun, but... i hate to loose. And i hate me for that. :). Well, thats me. And you?

No, my topics is Why do you play? For winning or for Fun? Its different.

It is a bit different, I will give you that, but similar... But nonetheless...

I play because it helps me with strategy. Also, for the thrill of the game. Have you ever gone to school, hating whatever goes on? Then you realize something in school is fun? Like learning about computers, history, English, math, or something like that? You find that one spark? SC has given me that spark, and it's still burning bright! I love playing it with friends expecially, because I can say 'Yea, Mikey, Brett, and I whipped up on those computers, and we were outnumbered 5 to 3!' and such, and it gives me a good feeling, you know? That's my reasons at least...

In regards to gaming, of course...
For fun, never to win. The most fun is when I lose, because it's obviously more challenging. Of course, when I horribly lose then it's obviously lag or something =P

for winning and for fun. When I turn on my computer and decide to play starcraft I do it because it is fun. Once I start the game and I am playing a melee game I play to win. Then after the game is done I remember that while I was trying to win I had fun. So it is sort of both.

if you think losing is fun then either you have something wrong with your brain or you are smoking something. Another way is if you are Barney or love Barney or something.

i play for both
its more about a mastering of the protoss for me which is fun and when done right will always lead to a win (for me anyways)
