I usually get around web blockers by pinging the site and using the IP instead of the address. This works for most of them (until they catch on :P).
When on your school computers, try opening up a command prompt (start -> run -> type "cmd" without quotes -> enter for XP (for 95//98 use "command" without quotes)). Type:
ping <website>
ie.: ping google.com
It's important not to include http://www. :). Cheers, and good luck!

Thanky Radlin.
They dis-allowed the C drive at my school, so the kids couldnt get on the C drive, but I easily got around it by opening word, and then clicking file > open. In there, you can view the C drive, and then I right clicked and then clicked on "Explore" and it opened Windows explorer, and luckily it worked, and I could view and edit files in the C drive. Awesome, eh?
Nice security bypass, M.Pyro. ;)

Even easier is going into Programs in the Start Menu, and double clicking on one of the folders. Then you can use the Level Up button to get directly into the C:\ drive.

You can use a proxy (http://www.fenguin.net/nph-access.cgi) to get by even the most evil of web blockers. xD
