Just a note. This is an unofficial Pie Wars story started at the end of Pie Wars 3. I'm just bored of waiting for Pie Wars 4 so I'm writing a fan fiction (hence the SP for SPecial) :D Hope you like it!
(You may want to read the 3 Pie Wars stories first. I'll warn you though, that's a lot of reading. Goto http://www.piewars.com (http://www.piewars.com/) and click on links (under Pie in the Real World... I haven't uploaded the stories yet.)
Pie Wars SP: The Calling
Prologue
A millennia before dinosaurs crawled out of the water and onto the Earth, a war waged between heaven and hell. The dark angel Lucifer, who had been exiled from the heavens before time was time, had came to power in hell. Vast hordes of demons and legions of the damned bowed to his name. Lucifer possessed an army able to challenge the wrath of heaven. God sent forth his purest and most powerful Archangel: Tyrian.
Tyrian met Lucifer at the gates of hell. Knowing he had been cornered, Lucifer sent his army to attack Tyrian. One by one, he struck every one of Lucifer's abominations down. Left face to face with the great Archangel, Lucifer did all that he could. Lucifer ran back to the pits of hell and hid for a millenium, all the while Tyrian chased after him. Lucifer formulated a plan.
Tyrians chase for Lucifer sent him to the lowest pit of hell and back again. Monstrosities beyond any being’s comprehension faced him. Yet he marched on, searching and growing ever weaker from being in the abysmal Pit.
Tyrian stopped to rest only once after a period of time scarcely able to be labeled in years. Lucifer took advantage of this and struck Tyrian down with an ancient magic which exhausted Lucifer body and imprisoned Tyrian's immortal soul in a single key made from the heartstrings of God. Lucifer tossed the key into the fires of the lowest level of hell and had his most loyal and most powerful minions guard it for eternity.
Lucifer now took the throne of hell for himself, never to be challenged again. He once more plotted a return to power and the siege of heaven, knowing God himself only stood in his way. Tyrian never to challenge him again.
Or so Lucifer thought. While in his eternal exile at the bottom of hell, Tyrian brooded. His soul, now corrupted by the eons spent in hell, began to starve for power. He began to lust for power.
Over time, he began to be able to see with his mind. He watched the worlds above age day by day. He soon began to be able to influence physical activity in the slightest. That power soon grew, then grew, and then grew.
Finally he was able to possess the soul of a young man, a mere mortal. His name was Joseph Morrley. After Tyrian possessed his mind, he became Laos.
With both heaven and hell unaware of his plans, he cast Laos into slumber so that he may be awaken when the time is right to take over.
For the time being, Tyrian waits and broods until both heaven and hell turn a blind eye. When they do, he will unleash Laos into the mortal world once again and finally be able to strike revenge back at Lucifer for imprisoning him and God for damning him.
Part 1
On Dreamwhyst valley, the third Pie Wars is over finally. This however, did not guarantee them to live happily ever after.
"Get back here Wolf!" yelled Shinitenshi. "Don't make me get out The Stick!" Werewolf was running around the cave where the new Pie Liberation Front's headquarters were stationed. He had a pair of white underwear strapped tightly around his head.
"Come and get me Shini!!" yelled the much younger male werewolf. He ran in large circles around the old man, laughing hysterically.
"Lolz, Wolf. Leave poor Shini alone" said Protosschick. She was sitting on a very puffy, green and white striped garden chair. No armor on, the Protoss mage looked quite strange wearing normal clothing.
"PC! Make him stop!" cried Shinitenshi. He was doing an old man hobble chasing after Werewolf. He was failing miserably.
"Nyah nyahya, Shini! You'll never get m-," a sudden whoosh of icy blasted the wolf, freezing him blue in his track. Protosschick stood standing with her staff in hand, strait up and down. A frosty mist hung over the top of her staff.
"You're so ghetto, PC," said Gonissa with a smirk.
"Yo! Not cool chicka," smiled Protosschick. She twirled the staff around in her hand like a martial artist so fast that it made a great whooshing sound through the air, echoing off the cave walls.
Shinitenshi wobbled over to Werewolf and cracked him over the head with his walking stick. A muffled cry came from the ice sculpture. "Hehe, I like this," Shinitenshi said, smiling wickedly. He whacked Werewolf over the head three more times, each time came a crunchy thud of the blow landing. "When you thaw, I'll be sure to hit you a few more times." He laughed an old man's cackle. "I want my undershorts too."
Gonissa stood quietly against a portion of rocky wall that was jutting out. She smiled.
---
"Mommy!" said Pie-A. The little pie and his sister had grown tremendously over the pass three years. Pie-A was a full foot taller than Pie-B, who was nearly half as tall as Duddits.
"What did you say, lil' one?" asked the mutant gerbil, Gerbil-X. A large scar now ran down the side of his left face, over and under his eye. It was from Cyberkid.
"Mommy!" chimed in the other pie.
"What little ones? You have to speak up," said Gerbil-X. He suffered some hearing loss while Cyberkid held Gerbil-X captive and tortured him.
"They said Mommy," Duddits growled to his companion. Gerbil-X still had a confused look on his face. 'Mommy. The kids said mommy.' Duddits said this telepathically to Gerbil-X.
"Oh! You want you're mommy, yes?" asked Gerbil-X to the pies. They both shook their heads no. "Then what?" The both looked seemingly through the ceiling at Pie-X's bedroom. "I really don't understand these pies," said Gerbil-X to Duddits.
A loud scream came from Pie-X's room upstairs. Duddits stood bolt upright from his chair and raced up the stairs, Gerbil-X trailing just right behind.
When Duddits reached the top, a look of surprise crossed his face. He had expected to see the top floor in ruins with Cyberkid standing in the middle, laughing maniacally, his troops flooding into Pie-X's room. This is what happened to the man after all these years of war. His face is scarred from wounds that healed. His mind, however, still bleed freely after these many years.
Down below, the crash of the door indicated the rest were arriving. Probably Gonissa, Duddits thought. She was always the fastest of the rest. Duddits walked towards Pie-X's room when another scream ripped out from the door. He broke into run for the doorknob, only ten feet away. That ten feet seemed to keep getting farther and farther away amidst Pie-X's piercing screams.
Duddits grasped the doorknob and tried to turn. The pie inside or somebody else perhaps locked it. With a quick and forceful turn of his wrist, Duddits snapped the bolt in the door and went inside. Gonissa and Protosschick reached the top at nearly the same time. Maybe I was wrong...The pie lay on the bed under sheets moaning loudly. "Ahh! It hurts me! Ohh God it hurts!" She was screaming in a high pitched squeal. Duddits stopped cold in his tracks. Everyone raced past him too Pie-X. They moved in slow motion as Duddits was hit with an intense surreal moment that he couldn't identify. His senses slowed to a near halt, his vision blurred, all that came though was the screams of Pie-X. It reminded him of his gerbil being shredded apart in the depths of hell. Each screaming until their throats were ripped out. His legs filled with lead, he almost toppled to the ground.
"Duddits?" asked Shinitenshi. His voice was slow and distorted. "Duuuuuuudddddddiiiiiiitsssssss? Aaaaarrrrrre yooooooou ooookaaaay?" A flash blared across his mind. Fire. Screams. Agony; pain. Death. 5 demons tall as mountains standing stone still. A pit of fiery hell blazed with green flame behind them. Help me! Duddits, save me! A voice broke into his mind. Save me Duddits! Help me! Heeeelp mee! The voice kept getting louder and louder. Help me! Help me! Help me!
"Duddits! Help me move Pie-X!!" Protosschick was yelling at Duddits. He snapped his head up to look at her and understood.
"Right! What's wrong with her?" He ran over to Pie-X, who was now wrapped up in covers. He grabbed hold and lifted with Protosschick, Gonissa, and Gerbil-X. She was extremely heavy.
"Haven't you been listening?" Gonissa asked him. He only looked at her. She scoffed slightly and said, "We think Pie-X might be pregnant again."Open the door and get out of the room.... What did this mean? Why did he think this? "What did you say GONISSA!?" yelled Duddits almost stupefied.
"I said, I think she's pregnant again." She said this as if it were nothing. They lifted the pie of of the bed and walked her out of the room.
They reached the guestroom and placed her on a large King size bed, much bigger than the one she used to sleep on. The women quickly shooed the men out of the room. "You too Shinitenshi!" yelled Protosschick almost shrilly. This was unlike her. Gonissa enforced her command by slamming her strait mace on the floor of the room making the house rumble slightly. The guys exited quickly.
---
"Oh man, how the hell could she has gotten pregnant again?" asked Shapeshifter. He had been outside gathering food from the large garden they had started about a year and a half ago went he heard Pie-X's scream.
"Gerbil-X...?" Duddits asked him slyly. He gave Duddits a shocked expression.
"I can't believe you'd ask me that. I think you need a good punch in the head" said Gerbil-X. He aimed a lazy punch at Duddits, which he easily evaded. "But if you'd want to ask me something, isn't Shini looking guilty over in that corner?" It was true. Shinitenshi was sitting on a badly crafted wooden chair (Werewolf's handiwork) in the corner were the bathroom's were. He had his hand on the walking stick and his chin on his hands. Indeed, he was looking guilty.
"SHINITENSHI! DO NOT TELL ME YOU DID THIS!" yelled Werewolf at the old man. Shinitenshi raised his eyes to meet Werewolf's. Inside the room, Pie-X gave a loud moan.
"Nissa homie! I don' think I can do this!" yelled a muffled voice of Protosschick.
"You can! Talk to her now! Calm her down!" yelled Gonissa back.
"Werewolf, why would I ever get Pie-X pregnant?" asked Shinitenshi. His old voice sounded tired; exhausted.
"C'mon Shini! You know that it isn't a secret you love Pie-X! After Pie-Z died, you've been hitting on her constantly. Admit it!"
Shinitenshi looked around at all of their faces to see them staring back at him. He sighed deeply and said, "Yes, you are right. I still love Pie-X. I have known her since she was created. In fact, it was I who helped create her. Yes, I helped create her. I am a scientist as well the oldest fighter left from Pie Land." Everybody but Duddits and Gerbil-X stood with their mouth hanging open. This was no surprise to Duddits, as he knew of Pie-X's creators long ago. Gerbil-X just had learned from Duddits that it is not best to expose your emotions during wartime. Unfortunately, old habits die hard.
"And here I was thinking that Pie-X was somebody's daughter of some sorts," said Shapeshifter.
"You still haven't answered my question, Shini,' said Werewolf shooting a sneaky look.
"No, I haven't, have I? Truth is, I haven't so much as hugged Pie-X for well over fifteen year at least. I didn't do it." He saw disbelief on Werewolf's face. "You don't believe me?"Open the door...get out of the room... Why does this keep coming back to him, Duddits wondered.
Pie-X gave one long moan followed a scream from Protosschick. "OMG CHICK!" she yelled. Werewolf ran up the door and busted it open. He ran into the room. From a combination of the screams from Protosschick and Pie-X and a blow from Gonissa's mace, Werewolf came flying back out of the room. Gonissa came up to the door and slammed it shut again.
Shapeshifter laughed at Werewolf. "What the hell did you do that for?" Werewolf put his head in his hands.
"I donno. I just though... Well, this might sound stupid but I though--"
"--something was wrong. Something bad had happened," said Duddits. "I've been feeling quite strange lately. I... I think something horrible is about to happen. I get the feeling like Crion is near me, but even worse then him." Everybody sat in silence for a long time. It was apparent to them that that Duddits wasn't the only one sensing something bad about to happen.
Protosschick walking out of the room and shutting the door behind her broke the silence. She looked solemn and looked at each one of them.
"Well?" said Shinitenshi?
Protosschick's face brighten up in a flash so fast, Duddits though it blurred. "IT'S A BOY HOMIEZ!!"
---
About a week after the new pie (named Pie-C conveniently) was born, Duddits called a meeting with the members of PLF. They were meeting outside of the cave today. It was a place Duddits recently discovered. It was on top of the small butte that the cave PLF was in. On top of is grew a small oasis, though the area was not desert but more of a rolling area with many foothill that eventually lead up into the great Iron Mountains, so named by Werewolf.
Protosschick was the last of the people to meet the group of Duddits, Shapeshifter, Werewolf, Gonissa, and Shinitenshi. Pie-X was at home taking care of her now three children. She collapse on one of the ironwood logs that circled a ring of stones used for a fire. "Dang man, that was a long trip up here Duds." She stopped panting and look around. "Omg, look at his place! It's so quiet and peaceful here. Why haven't ya'll told me 'bout this sooner?"
"Later, PC. We have more important things to discuss up here," said Duddits. He looked around the circle for a moment, making sure everyone was here. "Ok then. I've been talking to a couple of you about what happened last week."
"Shinitenshi streaking around the cave?" asked Werewolf. There was a brief moment of silence then Shinitenshi went over to Werewolf in the blink of an eye and smacked him in the head repeatedly with his walking stick.
"SHUT THE HELL UP YOU!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL A LIVING SOUL ABOUT THAT," smack smack smack, "DIDN'T I?!" Smack smack smack smack. Shinitenshi wore himself out after a few more then went back to sit down in his seat. Werewolf lay on the ground knocked out. Everyone is silent for a moment longer.
"Anyway, no. I'm talking about Pie-X being pregnant," said Duddits. Werewolf groaned a bit. "From what I heard, none of you did it. For this much, I am glad. If you were that much of a coward not to admit what you had done, I do not want to describe what the others and I would do to you. We'll leave it at that.
"This doesn't solve how it happened though. Any ideas?" He paused and looked around, seeing empty faces.
"How could we ever be able to explain this? That's Pie-X's job to be who she's been doing," said Werewolf.
"Excuse me Wolf, homie, but you ain't askin' her that," said Protosschick. She had a disapproving expression on her face.
"Well, she was the first person I asked, PC," said Duddits. Her mouth dropped open.
"You did not say tha-"
"Calm down a sec, PC. Of course I didn't say what Werewolf said. I am more civilized than that," interrupted Duddits. Gonissa sneered suddenly. Duddits glared. "That is one reason why I asked you all to come up here, but not the main reason. I think that a few more of you will be able to answer this one. Have anyone you been feeling," he paused, searching for words. "No. Has anything seemed wrong for any reason these past few days?" Their expressions did change this time. It was a shocked expression. All except Gerbil-X of course.
"How did you know that?" asked Gonissa. Her sneer gone, she turned serious all of a sudden.
"Ya man?" added Protosschick.
"Well, I have too. Now I don't know what you all are feeling, but I feel like something bad is going to happen. I've learned from experience of these last three miserable wars that I can trust my gut. It's not just that either, but I miss home. I miss Pie Land.
"Now we know that Pie Land wasn't destroyed. It was, you know, just whiped clean of life by the asteroid. It's been almost four years. We know that Dark Elemental had been monitoring the planet and clearing it's atmosphere. Maybe it's time we sent him a message." Duddits took a deep breath then sat back down.
"I've missed home pretty badly, especially lately," said Shapeshifter. Werewolf and Shinitenshi shook their hands in agreement. Gonissa stood up though.
"Don't get me wrong. I miss Pie Land ask much as you do, but do you know what this would mean? All that we worked for these past couple years here would be gone. Left behind. We would have to start over with nothing. Our homes were destroyed. Everyone's were. Great forests are gone." She looked around for people to suddenly chime in and agree with her.
"I donno chicka. If we did it here, we can do it again there. I miss sitting at SPRAFB and watchin’ all of those cute gerbil guys work on their machine 'n stuff. I miss my beachside home in Cali too," said Protosschick.
"Well, am I alone against this then?" She glared at Duddits, then to Shapeshifter, then Werewolf. "I guess I am. Whatever." She sat back down but didn't say much for the rest of the meeting.
"Is it settled then?" asked Duddits. All but Gonissa nodded in agreement.
"Ok then. We just have to find a way to call Dark Elemental back down here." Just then, a blazing fire fell at lightning speed and crashed into the butte and went clean through it into the cave below.
"OMG, Pie-X!" yelled Protosschick. A lone figure floated up from the hole in the ground.
"Don' worry PC. I didn't hit the house. Landed behind it." He got close enough for Shapeshifter to get a good look at him.
"I'll be damned. DE? You have some hella nice timing there old buddy!" Shapeshifter got up punched Dark Elemental in the side of the arm, which he returned.
"Well, not exactly there Shifty," said Dark Elemental. He smiled and reached around to grab a small something out of Shapeshifter’s now long black hair. "I had you bugged there." He smiled even wider with the look of amazement on Shapeshifter’s face.
"Oh man! How the hell did you get that thing on me?" He laughed again and they both walked back to the circle.
"Hey ya'll," said Dark Elemental. They each exchanged their greetings. "I heard that you were wanted to ask me a question. Is this true?"
"Well, you could stop being a smart ass and tell us and save time," growled Gerbil-X.
"Whoa, I'm sorry X. Nice to see you though. Anyway, yes I have been cleaning your planet up. Yes again, it is inhabitable, finally, but there is a slight shortage of lumber and other raw materials. Nothing we can't barrow from other planets, eh?" Dark Elemental smiled weakly once. "I guess there is one more question you still have to ask me though." He looked at Duddits.
"Yea, uh DE?"
"Yea?"
"Can we barrow your spaceship for a little while?"
"Sure."
"Great."
"So... that's all?"
"Well not really."
"Well?"
"SHOTGUN!" said Werewolf before Duddits could get to it.
(A small reminder... this isn't an RP like the other. Just a story I'm typing.)

Speaking of Gonissa, is there any way you could drag her over here Duddits?
Duddits
03-05-2004, 4:46 AM
I'm trying too. Haven't talked to her on IM for a week or two. We're planning on having PW4 over here, last time I heard anyway, so that'll be her over at least. I'll try to get her over here before then...
I just woke up from 3 hours of sleep. Have blurred and double vision right now. Need more sleep.

At least you have gotten some sleep. I have been up all night working. :/ Anyway, as soon as I can find the time, I'll think up of more ideas for my story. Part 2 will probably be titled "Invasion", Part 3 will be called "Metamorphosis", Part 4 hasn't been given a title yet, but Part 5 has been titled "Cat Fight". (you will see why I titled Part 5 "Cat Fight" when you read Part 3 "Metamorphosis")
I should have the next 3 chapters of Part 1 ready within a week. :)

I got you back in the story too. I believe I paused right after writing you name. I don't want to dig through my binder to find my notebook though.

Hmmm, perhaps I'll get back into this. You people just need to slow down and NOT post 1000 posts every day, each post 5 pages in length when we start it up again:P.
Bleh, either way, I suppose I'll give a solid effort to keep up with the rapidly increasing story when the new PW is out :P.

Woot woot! :D Very cool :)
Well, I'm pleased to say that I have just literally finshed writing Part 2 (as well as made spellling and story changes to Part 1). I am also pleased to say that it is a good 19 handwritten pages long. I'm proud of myself right now. I should have the first version up either late tonight or tomarrow. If it's tomarrow then I'll read through the printed version and fix any mistakes.
Till then :D

Anyway, remember Duddits, PC and Scorch are married, and so are me and Wolf.

Yes... I remember. Now, after much contraint.
WOOT WOOT! NISSA'S HERE! YEE HAWW!!.... Wait a second... that means I have to behave. SHI-- err... ****Xxors! ;)
Anyway, I have Part 2 typed up and correction made to part one. I will update part two after I have printed it out and re-read it (it's 22 pages long for me). That might be today, that might be tomarrow. It'll be one of those day.
A neat fact: 90% of this story was written while I was sitting on the toliet. I've spent close to six hours writing parts of this story in the bathroom. Not that I was actually pooping, or anything like that, but it's just my favorite place to write. I don't think you wanted to know that though :-\
(Small note, mainly to Nissa... Scorch and PC aren't married yet in this story, but definatly have a relation goin')

Part 2
That day, PLF and Dark Elemental started loading as much of there personal belonging and food as they could. Shapeshifter was sent out to find the four-remaining people, three being members to PLF, they were going to take back with them: Carnage/Phoenix, Magmaniac, Scorch, and Mtank.
They could fit most of their items in Dark Elemental’s ship. Werewolf suggested that they just try and take the whole house with them. Dark Elemental didn’t think it would fit.
"What do you mean, ‘It won’t fit’,? That ship is taller than the cave the house is in." argued Werewolf with Dark Elemental.
"Well, I have lots of stuff in there," replied Dark Elemental back.
"What the hell? We could fit four or five of our house in that ship of yours. What could possibly take so much space up?"
"Well… I have lot’s of stuff." Dark Elemental looked at Werewolf like the argument was over. Werewolf almost didn’t say anything back either.
"But what kinds of stuff do you have, man?" asked Werewolf.
"You know… stuff. Like machines and things like that." Dark Elemental turned his back and found himself intrigued with a fossilized piece of gerbil shit lying on the ground.
Eh… I’ll find out what it is, thought Werewolf. He walked away from Dark Elemental and made his way towards a very large tree. When he was sure nobody was looking, he bolted for the large door made of some metal alloy serving as the entrance to Dark Elemental’s great silver and white spaceship that resembled a pine cone with large spikes coming out of it.
---
Duddits was helping Pie-X clean her things out from inside the house. Gerbil-X was downstairs watching the twins with Protosschick caring for the newborn pie.
For the most part, Pie-X had been pretty quite since Pie-C’s birth. She hadn’t talked to anybody, which said that Duddits had lied to the others when he said that Pie-X didn’t know how she got pregnant. He was half-lying anyway. He had to extract that information by reading her mind. Since Pie-X was being so silent, it made it all the stranger when she suddenly burst out crying.
"X? What’s wrong?" asked Duddits.
"I had a ch-ch-ch-ch," she paused for a second. "I ha-had a kid, Duddits," she finally said, tears streaming down her face now. "I had a k-kid and I don’t know why."
"X… I really don’t know that to say to you." Duddits was a military man and strictly that. It’s said that the only thing he had ever loved was his old gerbil armies. Each time he had gotten to love a person or thing, they were taken away from him. Crion, his family, Gerbil-X- twice from him even!, his armies. From this remark, Pie-X went into tears even more.
Duddits never made speeches unless he had prepared them before hand and memorized them. He never actually spoke from his heart before, but this large pie had a way of making people show feeling they didn’t know they had.
He walked over to were Pie-X was sitting on the bed and sat next to her. "Listen, X. A lot of things have happened the past couple years. An asteroid hit our planet, Cyberkid tried to kill us, and for the third time at that. I had to kill my own brother for Christ’s sake. You aren’t the only one who is having it tough, X. We all are. Don’t forget that we are your friends too. Shinitenshi loves you, X. I mean, we all love you but Shini does a little differently than I."
Pie-X was quiet on the bed, only sniffling occasionally. "I know Shini does, but what about Z? Or my two children?"
"Three children, X. You have three now."
"I know I do!" said Pie-X. Her eyes started to tear up again, her voice squeaking a little. "But Pie-C isn’t Z’s child."
"X, she’s your child though. That’s all that matters." They both sat in silence together for what seemed like forever, but really was a few minutes.
"Pie-X, Z is gone. He was brave, one of the bravest pies I’ve ever met and you know that. He died saving you and your children. Tell me, would he want you to live life forever weeping for his loss?" It was a rhetorical question. "It’s been, what? Three years? For God’s sake X! Move on!"
Pie-X sat on the bed, on the brink of tears again. "I know. You’re right, Duddits. Thank y-" BOOM! A gigantic explosion broke the air, rumbling the house and making their ears ring.
---
Outside, all hell was breaking loose. Loud bursts of gun and artillery fire broke the crisp mourning air. Dark Elemental’s spaceship was being pounded by pies. It’s shield stopped every pie in a brilliant burst of teal.
Duddits and Gerbil-X came racing out of the cave, narrowly missing a shot from the artillery.
"Duddits! Over here!" yelled Gonissa. She, along with Carnage, Magmaniac, Scorch, Mtank and the rest of PLF, were behind a roughly made wall. It had various objects used in its construction, ranging from a blue garden hose to expensive-looking lamps, to a large blue couch.
Shinitenshi was in tears. "My couch! Nooooo," wailed Shinitenshi. A large strawberry pie hit the front of the couch with a thud. Shinitenshi let out another wail.
Duddits and Gerbil-X raced to the bunker with pies flying at them. An artillery shot nicked Gerbil-X in the ear, making it bleed. They dove for the bunker.
"What’s going on, Gonissa?" asked Duddits, brushing off his tight black sleeveless shirt. She threw a pie blindly over the bunkers. A large explosion and screams followed it. It made the words she spoke inaudible.
"Say what?" yelled Gerbil-X at her. Shapeshifter and Carnage were ducking out from the bunker with their arms morphed. They were shooting spikes at the opposing army. A large thud hit the bunker again and cream filling spilled over the top, onto them.
"I said, Cyberkid is attacking us!" yelled Gonissa.
Werewolf was putting some kind of machine or weapon together. Duddits looked up at him. "What? I was inside DE’s ship for a couple minutes." Another loud thud hit the wall and sent a chair clattering to the ground. Bursts of gunfire were now closer.
"I thought you guys destroyed them all!" yelled Gerbil-X.
"No, I did," said Duddits. He pulled out his .45 and slid a clip into it. He went over by Carnage and leaned against the symbiote, shooting from around the side of the bunker. His leg visibly sank into the mass of red and black slime that was Carnage’s skin.
"I guess you missed a couple of them!" yelled Magmaniac. He turned to Werewolf and cast a spell on him. "DICE TWICE!!" A blue wave crashed into Werewolf and spread like water onto his skin. It dissolved shortly thereafter.
Oh man… I remember that thing, thought Duddits. Werewolf locked the last piece of what resembled a rocket launcher with an extremely wide barrel together with a snap. He jumped out from behind the bunker and into the open.
"TAKE TH-" Werewolf tried to say. Seven pies smacked into him simultaneously followed by a large artillery round. He was blasted back about twenty feet where he lay lifeless.
Time stopped.
Gonissa screamed out in rage followed by the others. Gonissa jumped out into the open and flung her three throwing knives into the crowd. All three knives passed through three soldiers until they stopped and killed the forth-twelve dead. She drew her mace and started to run towards the army.
"No! Gonissa STOP!" yelled Magmaniac. "He’s--," but an explosion silenced anything he may have said in hope the Gonissa would hear him. Mtank had thrown a gigantic pie bomb into the crowd.
Gonissa ran to the crowd through a hail of pie. Left and right in a blur to most, she hit every pie thrown at her. Pie splattered in front of her like it was hitting a wall. She charged on down the hill.
"Let em have it!" yelled Duddits. Duddits whipped around the corner and fired the .45 quick as a machine gun with a kill a shot. Shapeshifter was shooting silvery spikes along with Carnage’s black and red spikes so fast that it looked like a solid line of silver and red-black were tearing through the crowd. Gerbil-X and Mtank threw as many pies as they could, Magmaniac trying to keep up with their pace enchanting the pies. "PC! Bring Pie-X and the kids over here!" yelled Scorch. They had been trapped in the cave since the fighting started.
"What the hell is that?!" yelled Mtank. An enormous pie was being hauled through the crowd. At the bottom of the hill which PLF were fighting atop and which PLF HQ was stationed, the pie only looked as big as a small book. Since the people looked like small dots, however, this perception of the size of that pie didn’t fool them.
"DE! Help us out man!" yelled Shapeshifter to the spaceship. The shield around the ship seemed to flicked slightly from the constant hail of pies. There was no sign of an answer.
"C’mon PC! We have to go now!" yelled Scorch again. The Protoss mage and Pie-X were still pinned down by the pies, all though much of the armies attention was now focused with on the spaceship or Gonissa.
Gonissa blazed down the hill like a hawk diving for the kill. Every pie within an arms reach of her was knocked out of the sky-and the pies came by the hundreds. Her jet-black hair with those streaks of silver whipped around behind her in a ponytail.
No less than fifty feet away, she jumped high into the air, watching a wave of spikes hammer the front line of soldier with a sickening squish. A few of the spikes went totally through the person (or beast) and struck the soldier behind them. She saw, with a bird’s eye view, Cyberkid’s entire army. It stretched for miles. At the end, she saw a great vehicle the resembled a snake with great steel segments colored to look like rock. Cyberkid… I swear to God I’ll kill you one day, she though. With that, she dived downwards, aiming at the center of a mass of soldiers.
Fast as a bullet and with a sonic boom as well, she swung her mace forwards and crashed into the ground. The mace smacked through a soldier’s head and kept traveling downwards effectively sliced the man in half. It exited near the man’s crotch and slammed into the ground, creating a crater.
With a quick movement, she pulled the mace from the ground and bashed it into the face of another soldier. In even a quicker movement, she pulled the mace from the soldier’s head and swung it in a fast, circular motion. It smashed into the skulls of the soldier’s surrounding her. With less than half a second, thirteen people were killed. They hit the ground simultaneously a second later.
The soldiers right out side the circle of blood and brains look in awe at her. She took this time to plant either the mace or her iron-like fist between the eyes of the gaping onlookers.
While Gonissa was tearing threw people, Protosschick and Pie-X were still trying to leave the cave. Somehow, the army still was able to keep the pressure of throwing pies at the mouth of the cave up.
"Pchick, I don’t know if I can do this," sobbed Pie-X. All three children were crying at the top of their incredibly strong lungs. Pie constantly splattered against the side of the cave.
"Yes you can, chicka!" said Protosschick to Pie-X. Although her voice was convincing, her eyes said differently.
"Noooo….," said Pie-X in a low moan. She stopped her sniffing and crying, but the look on her face was so much worse.
"Pchick!" came Scorch’s yell through the gunfire from afar. "I’m coming in to get you!" he yelled again. With more recklessness than bravery, Scorch stepped into the line of fire not for the first time since the second Pie War. A pie slammed into his head, shattering the glass helmet that resembled an astronaut’s and spraying blood into the air. The scene was oddly beautiful in a disturbed way with the sun reflecting off of the shards of glass and drops of blood. His face torn from the shattered glass, he kept running.
"NO SCORCH! DON’ YOU DARE DO THIS TO ME!" yelled Protosschick, half-sobbing. The makeshift bunker was about fifty feet away from the mouth of the cave. Yet on this day in this moment, it stretched beyond the distance of the largest galaxy to Protosschick.
Scorch ran closer and closer, his legs turning to some odd mix between jelly and lead. I’m gonna make it! I’m gonna make it! PC and me are gonna get married back in Pie Land then move to Hawaii. We’ll have kids then grow old together and die, where we’ll be united forever under God and in heaven! I’m going to make it! Scorch’s mind blazed at thousands of thoughts a second as he ran, ever so slowly from his perspective, towards the mouth of the cave.
Less than ten feet away now, Protosschick could almost reach out and touch him. She saw the pie clearly though. It was a mincemeat pie with small dribbles of brown broth coming out from the cracks in the middle. I would hit Scorch head on. It would tear through his body armor and into the fuel tanks on his back, lighting him up like a Zippo lighter. He would probably die clutching his face while it charred black, his organs falling out in bloodied clumps through the hole in his stomach.
No, thought Protosschick. He’ll make it.
"Scorch watch out!" said Protosschick pointing to the pie. Scorch saw it and knew he had just enough time to breath before he would die.
Protosschick didn’t think so though. She raised her staff with, to her anyway, excruciatingly slow speed. To Pie-X and the seemingly doomed Scorch, they probably didn’t see it move from the ground. She cast an ice blast towards the blazing pie. Please dear Lord, let my aim fail me not today, she prayed.
It didn’t. With a sickly thud, the pie froze. Still going forward, however, it slammed into the firebat. Scorch flew backwards when the pie shattered on his chest, throwing razor bits of ice at the Pies. It made a slight cut on Pie-B’s arm. She cried as if it had stabbed her in the heart.
Protoss chick left the cave to drag Scorch in. For some reason, no pies came flying towards her with the intent of tearing her skull from her spine. It wasn’t till she was inside did she realize that there were no more pies hammering Dark Elemental’s spaceship or the bunker the pie people threw together. In fact, the only noise she heard was from PLF or the screams of soldier being slaughtered by Gonissa below. She saw Shinitenshi climb their side of the bunker and poke his old head with his long gray ponytail trailing down his back over the top of the bunker.
"Oh my God," said Shinitenshi in a hoarse voice. Nobody heard him. "EVERYBODY LOOK OUT!"
Silence. Neither a breath nor whips of wind. It was silence so absolute that if a particle of dust had fallen to the ground, they would have known about it.
Then a gargantuan boom ripped across the planet. The shockwave from the noise toppled the bunker backward with Shinitenshi on top of it also. It knocked nearly everybody around the globe down and toppled and trees close to the epicenter. Shinitenshi landed with a thud on a jagged piece of metal that looked like a burned showerhead. Hey… that looks like mine, he though dreamily. It puncture a hole strait through him like a hellish spike. Carnage was rolling on the ground screaming in agony. The sonic vibrations are one of the few things that can kill the symbiote.
The great army of Cyberkid was retreating now, making free game for Gonissa who spun in place like a tornado with the made extended. Rioting soldiers blocked Gonissa’s view. Only Shinitenshi saw it coming.
"TAKE COVER!" yelled Shinitenshi. His voice seemed amplified as if he were the lead singer in some opera, performing before thousands in an old age Victorian theatre.
Mtank leaned over the sides of the toppled wall. He saw it. Carnage, Shapeshifter and then Duddits saw it. Gerbil-X and Magmaniac came out from behind the old bunker as Protosschick and Scorch along with the Pies came out of the cave. They saw it too. They each saw death gliding below them, scythe in hand to tear their souls from their bodies. They saw a simple pastry that they had all bought at some point in their life at a pastry store, but amplified by thousands.
The gigantic pie that Mtank saw earlier was speeding towards them. The Truth then finally hit them possibly harder than that pie would. Their entire lives, including the time ages ago when the first pie was thrown by a person called Radlin and set a chain of events into place that would result billions dead in three long and gruesome Pie Wars, would come to an end in a matter of seconds.
Most of them couldn’t even comprehend the Truth. Most of them were going to be so hopelessly optimistic that they would think that somehow they all were going to survive the blast. By some miracle of nature they would wake up and the past eight years would have been a horrible nightmare. Where there’s a will, there’s a way, right?
Yet some small portion of their mind knew the Truth. They knew that they wouldn’t make it out of this, but they failed to accept it. Only a few of them turned and thought about what matters the most to them.
Gonissa seen the pie well before Mtank and stopped her onslaught of retreating soldiers. She was possibly in the best scenario to think that she alone would make it out of this, as she watched the pie fly over her head. Yet she knew better-optimism was not her best trait. She turned to look at Werewolf’s limp body lying on the ground.
Protosschick and Scorch had the luxury of being together with the one they loved. They both knew the Truth. When they looked into each other, they knew that each other knew the Truth too. The embraced it and each other and hugged each other so tight that they couldn’t breath.
Pie-X was one of the people who knew the Truth too. Her mind, however, was not ready to accept the end. Her mind wouldn’t accept it. Her heart did though. She grabbed her children, each to young to understand what was going to happen, and hugged them. She told them that she loved each and every one of them right down to their crusty crusts. She looked up before the pie hit and made eye contact with Shinitenshi. She knew.
Duddits was the last of them to know. His life had been full of many things. Horrible and beautiful things. Unfortunately, the horrible outweighed the beautiful exponentially. His life was about death and war. His thoughts trailed only to an old memory of him and his brother when Duddits was in Junior High. He was pushing a six-year old Crion on a swing set. He marveled at the way Crion’s silky blue hair glittered in the waning sunlight almost surreally. The light. In the end, that’s all there is, isn’t it?
---
The atomic pie, thus named by the subconscious of Magmaniac, slammed into the small mountain where PLF’s cave was. The explosion could be heard around the world and was seen by all those who’s view wasn’t blocked by the planet itself. The explosion tore apart the great hill that PLF HQ sat on. Everything within eighteen miles of the epicenter, including all of Cyberkid’s army was incinerated. Only Cyberkid’s diamond coated snake-like vehicle remained in the charred crater. Cyberkid exited it afterwards and laughed an evil laugh saved up from nearly a decade. Cyberkid must have thought that he had finally destroyed PLF.

I have got like the smallest role ever... :(
It's still a role, which is better than being dead (which I'm going to explain in Pat 3 why you're not) :) Besides, it is still part 2 right now. I estimate I'll have between 15-30 Parts when I'm done. The coolest thing is, though, one of my teachers who I gave Part 1 wants to see if they can get it published for me. That would be sooo sweet. But that would also meen the other 3 PW's would have to be published and I'd have to go back through the 250+ pages to spellcheck every typo. Not fun. Anyway, I'm on the second draft of Part 2. Fixing typos and will edit the story shortly ;)

(Really... *wink wink*) I'm writing up Part 3 right now. Can't give you a time frame here, because that's not my thing. I'll have it up soon though.
publishing would be cool, unfortunately pie wars is too...freaky and moves at a blazing speed...you can do it if you tone it down a bit, i think...
i can see it now...thousands of Mtank figures are sold daily...Mtank becomes a household name...millions flocking to his country...increase tourism...Mtank is declared national hero...

Then all the people wonder... Who is the person behind the mask? Who is this Mtank?
Hm?
and more importantly, when is he going to get a bigger role?

Calm down PC! I'm at the last segment of Part 3 but have been having a bit of writers block. Trust me though, when I post it you'd better have some free time. It's long than both Part 1 and Part 2.
Currently one of my friends is helping me proofread it. I only need to get this last part done.
BTW, WOOT!! So fun to talk in first person again.

Double post. I apologize for any typos. I haven't the time to totally proofread it that the moment. I will print it up tomarrow and fix any errors. I sure hope you aren't disappointed in this Part. It is quite longer, as I said it would be.
EDIT: Good Lord!! It won't fit on one post.... -_-;;

Part 3
*Thump, thump; Thump, thump; Thump, thump; Thump, thump* The sound of a heartbeat pulsed in his head. Dark. It was pitch black around him. He was cold too. Shivering; freezing. The man floated in a vast black void with no light and no sound but that ethereal heartbeat— driving him insane.
"Hello," he tried to say but no words came out. It was like his voice was trapped in the back of his throat.
Just then, a deafening loud groaning noise broke the absolute silence. It sounded like the massive tectonic plates of Old Earth pushing together with forces to baffle the mind on each other before one slipped, creating an earthquake. Or maybe it sounded like the vast arctic glacial sheet of ice slamming against each other. Maybe it is the sound of an asteroid slamming into a planet. Or a distant sun going supernova.
Below him a crack of white light appeared. A mere sliver of light the stretched farther than he could see in either direction. It didn’t create much light, but the contrast between it and the darkness of the void made his eyes wince.
Open the door and get out of the room… The voice said, colder than ice, echoed for an eternity in the void.
"Who’s there?!" the man tried to say again. He meant it to come out in a commanding yell, but only a small mouse’s squeak escaped.
Open the door… The voice came again so quietly this time that he almost didn’t hear it. At the command of the voice, however, the loud groaning noise ripped across the void. The sliver of white light burst open, forcing the man to turn his head against the light.
Now… GET OUT OF THE ROOM! The man dropped like a dead bird from the air. He was traveling faster and faster towards the white light. His black hair whipped behind him with the roar of wind passing by him.
The white light burned his eyes still like white hot bits of iron sizzling in the hollows of his skull. He smashed them shut again, but found that the piercing light still came through. Faster, and faster, and then faster he flew downwards, head first.
Before his eyes, the white light turned into a roaring flame. The void transformed into a cavern of red, jagged stone equally as vast as the void. He sped headfirst into the flames, engulfing him in the inferno.
Where there should have been a jolt of excruciating white agony came only a faint tingling sensation over him. It cover his entire body like tiny insects crawling over him from his toes, to his knees, to his naval, up to his chest and spread though his arms and head.
He watched himself travel quicker than a bolt of energy down into the flames. He heard things in his mind. Pain. Death. Suffering; rage. Hated and evil. All inside his head. He plummeted downwards even quicker now.
The flames steadily turned darker and darker. Vivid and grotesque pictures passed into his mind. He saw people being beaten with spiked hammers till they lay on the ground in bloodied pulps of flesh and bone. People were being ripped apart limb by limb, screaming on the rack they were laying on the was ripping their arms and legs off. People were being forced to drink some kind of bubbling, molten metal then being thrown into a burning pool of liquid. Huge creatures with teeth larger than human arms and bulging muscles held chain whips, beating people with them. He heard their screams especially loud through the roar of the fire blazing by his ears.
He then saw a speck of black in the distance below him. The flames around him had gotten so dark that it looked like he was flying through a pool of blazing, crimson blood.
He saw five distinct figures around something else in a circle. The screams and images in his head faded but didn’t disappear completely. They had gotten even more gruesome as he fell further.
This door is shown…. Will you open it? He came to a sudden and abrupt halt of movement at the bottom of the immense pitfall. The blazing inferno burned above him in a hellish flaming ceiling. The five figures he saw were giant, iron-clad demons. They each held long, sickly swords with jagged edges the pulsed with a fiery glow. Their armor was one of five colors: yellow, green, blue, crimson red, then finally the largest of the demons was covered in a jet black armor that had long veins of yellow and red running through it. The out side seemed to crawl as if it were alive.
A trail of yellow and red flame connected the two demons that were directly opposite of each five demons. The shape formed was a star. A ring of black fire encased them, completing a pentagram.
In the middle of the unholy sign was a great pillar of flame the jetted up though the ceiling and joined the dark flames. He sensed a great evil.
Help me! I will grant you power! That is what you have always craved for, is it not? I can even bring back your brother… just help me, a voice said from inside the flames. He heard it inside his head.
He walked forward to the soothing voice. Yes… that is it… your life will be filled with power… all will follow you… I can give you the gerbils back… Just unlock me… He raised his hands to the flame. Yes! The man plunged his hand deep into the fire. Pain exploded throughout his body. You are mine now. Succumb to the darkness… A great blackness filled his mind and a face with eyes that seemed to bleed like a waterfall from its face appeared. Great rows of gleaming teeth, each looking sharper than razors and ending in a pinpoint followed it. A quick bright flash erupted and a pain spread across his face like daggers digging into the flesh. A moment later, it was gone.
He went back into a dreamless sleep.
---
Somewhere inside a great ship that was traveling throughout the depths of space, a computerized voice broke the monotony of keyboard stokes.
"He awakens," it said in an emotionless voice. The person typing smiled.
---
Duddits woke the next mourning. His feet tangled his sheets and his covers were lying on the ground. The bed he was laying in was soaking wet with sweat. A handrail rain along the edges of his bed. Where the hell am I?, he thought. Duddits sat up, or tried to at least. Cords attached to his chest kept him from sitting up all the way. He tried to raise his arm and rip them off, but found that his wrists were handcuffed to the handrail on the bed. He then tried to move his legs, but, as he now expected, they also were chained to the bed.
"Hello?" yelled Duddits. No answer came so he tried again, telepathically. ‘Hello?’ There was a long period of silence, mental or otherwise.
He looked around the room he was in. The walls were painted a deep shade of green. It seemed long ago that they had their last coat of paint, as it was peeling in many places. The cords attached to his chest ran up into some high-tech version of an electrocardiograph. Three bright green glyphs at the top right of the screen flashed with each of Duddits’ heartbeats. A circular light bulb lit the room with an eerie light green glow. It seemed to need a replacement, as it’s flickering quality made Duddits wish he had full use of his arms along with his .45 in hand. A gigantic mirror filled the wall to his left. Duddits would have bet his life that the mirror was really one-way glass. A door was directly opposite of his bed. It looked as if it were made from some kind of energy, a force field maybe, rather than from wood or steel. Loud bang ran along the dripping labyrinth of pipes that hung from the ceiling. Duddits spotted a rat walking atop one of those pipes. He called for it telepathically once, but footsteps from behind the door scared it away.
"Who is there?!" demanded Duddits. His voice had returned to its normal fullness, different from the horrid dream he had. Dream… What was is about? The noise of footsteps distorted the faint echo of voices so that Duddits couldn’t understand him.
He watched the deep etches between groups of muscle bulge and deepen as he struggled against the restraints. A large vein popped out of his straining bicep that Duddits had never seen before. He traced its path down his arms as it connected to the spider web of veins that were bulging out of his lower arm.
Drips of sweat quickly beaded Duddits’ brow as he struggled hopelessly against the tempered steel. A trickle ran down his spine as a bead of sweat broke free from his black hair and glided down to the small of his back.
The footsteps and voices were now louder. A panic pumped adrenaline into Duddits’ bloodstream, enlarging his already large muscles. Faint tickles of blood ran down Duddits wrist and ankles where the skin was being cut into by the steel. Oh God, please don’t let it be Crion.
***FLASHBACK***
The air grew cold in the room. Duddits' skin broke out in gooseflesh. Panic rose in his chest. He struggled frantically again the straps once more, to achieve nothing, however. He began to feel anxious. It's just a draft, he assured himself. There was a small air vent in the ceiling. This helped calm
himself down slightly. He still felt worried though.
His gaze drifted to the small window in the door once more. He jumped and let a small yell. The monitor next to him started to beep wildly. Veins in his forehead and arms stood out even farther than usual. Duddits had seen a pair of cold blue eyes staring back at him through the window. The figure's hair swayed wildly. The air in the room chilled even more.
Just as fast as it appeared, the face was gone. Duddits' bare chest was covered in goosebumps by now. His heart could visibly be seen beating in his chest. He looked up at the small vent again. Small blue vapors drifted hazily into the room. The frightened him even more.
Duddits struggled against his restraints more. The IV line had popped out of his arms and was now spewing clear liquid onto the ground. Blood squirted out of the vein. Around his wrist and legs, the skin had started to bleed slightly. Duddits had rubbed the skin raw of the straps. He yelled for help, thrashing around. He eyes raced madly in his skull. Duddits looked as if he were having a seizure. The machine measuring his heartrate beeped like machine gun fire next to him.
He stopped. His eyes fixed themselves on the mirror next to him. A thin, dark red line hung on the side of the mirror. It slowly oozed out of the crack and dripped to the floor. Duddits felt something hit his foot. He looked down and saw another spot of the red liquid hit his leg. It was blood. Duddits looked up and saw it leaking from the light bulb. It bubbled as it had its way down the light bulb.
Duddits looked at the mirror again. Horror crossed over his face. A speck of blood appeared near the center. It smeared itself, as if an invisible finger were using the blood as ink. It formed a long letter 'I'. It continued. The blood had started to trickle from Duddits' pillow. He felt it ooze down the back of his head. Long scrawling lettered formed on the mirror. An ‘M’ appeared followed by a ‘B’. Fever terror broke into him. Slowly, the writing finished. It had written the words, 'I'M BACK' in scrawling letters. Duddits suddenly scream out loud at the top of his lungs. For an instant, he saw a flash of his brother. His cold eyes drilling into Duddits'. His face was not smiling. It was cold as hell. Then it was gone.
***FLASHBACK***
The voices stopped. There was a rattle just outside of the door. After what seemed like an hour later came of loud click in the door. Duddits braced himself for the worse. He had endured torture so bad that it had literally killed him once. Only by a miracle of God did he return.
What stood in the door left him speechless. His mouth hung open and his tongue lolled out. It seemed to be a large penguin was standing inside of the door. It had a black coat of fur that shined even in the poor quality of light. A large grin spread across its face.
"You know, I have seen many demons throughout my lifetime. I’ve seen many things that science has declared impossible. Never in my life before now would I ever have thought that I’d see you again, friend," said Duddits. He smiled and when he smiled, it brightened every scar on his face and even seemed to light the room up slightly. It was one of the few smiles this man has ever done. "How the hell are ya’, Fenguin?"
The large penguin entered the room, followed by every member from PLF except for the four pies and Dark Elemental. Pie-X was eating lunch while Dark Elemental watched over the kids, Duddits later found out. Werewolf entered on a wheelchair with Gonissa pushing him. Gerbil-X was the last in the room. He had trouble fitting his massive, muscular body through the small doorway.
"I’m doing just fine, Duddits. It shouldn’t be you asking me that, though. You’ve been out for some time now, so how the hell are you,?" Protosschick sat down in a chair that was next to the large mirror. Scorch knelt beside her and held onto her knee. He was in plain clothing, no armor on at the moment. His face was wrapped with bandages and gauze all but where his mouth, eyes and nose where. Small bits of black hair stuck out from between the bandages where his hair should have been but was covered.
Next to them, Gonissa parked Werewolf. His arm was held in a bandage sling and a white cast was wrapped around his leg. He was grinning toothily at Duddits.
Gonissa looked the same as she normally did. She had her normal combination of black jeans with a tight black tank top on. The only difference was the lack of the three throwing knives that she normally kept in a holder strapped to her leg. There was a small white bandaid on her cheek.
Shinitenshi was leening against the wall next to the door which had appeared again. He had some kind of plaid shirt on, but Duddits guessed that the bandages from the showerhead wound were wrapped around his abdomen underneath the shirt.
"Me? I’m doing all right. Well, I would be all right if I could move my arms or legs." Duddits motioned to his wrists and ankels. They were still bound by the chains and handcuffs and were still trickling.
"Oh! Right! Sorry about that, Duddits," said Fenguin. He pressed a symbol on the keypad attached to the electrocardiograph. Moments later, the door dissolved again and a pretty blonde nurse walked in.
"Crybaby, can you unlock Duddits and clean his wounds up?" asked Fenguin, smiling at her. It was quite a sight to see a penguin smile. Fenguin looked more like a penguin with a duck’s and the body of a body-builder. He had legs and arms, which were almost as large as Gerbil-X’s, but he had no clothes on. This was because his body was covered in black fur with a large white spot on his belly. He was slightly shorter than Duddits, bringing him to about 5’11’’.
"Sure thing hun," said Crybaby. She walked over to Duddits and smiled at him. "This might get tight for a moment." She pulled a key from the pocket of her white pants pocket. With the key in the pair of handcuff on Duddits right hand, she turned it and it clicked loudly. Indeed, it got very tight, pinching his skin. The cuff slid off of his right hand. He flexed his forearm.
"Ah, God. That’s better. Ow about ge—" Duddits was cut off by Crybaby reaching over top of him to get the left handcuff off. She had her chest pressed extremely close to his face.
It was an awkward moment for Duddits as she tried to get the handcuff off. Duddits saw out of the corner of his eyes, Gonissa, Protosschick, and Werewolf were rolling in their seat, hands pressed over their mouths to suppress the laughter. The guys in the room, except for Werewolf who was too busy crying from laughing, looked at Duddits jealously. Carnage and Shapeshifter along with Gerbil-X just kind of looked at Duddits blankly. After a long period of time for everyone in the room, the handcuff snapped and slid off of his wrist.
‘Uh, thanks, Crybaby," said Duddits quietly, rubbing his wrists. She nodded to him and went to the bottom of the bed to unsnap the chains at both of his feet before she left.
The moment the door appeared after Crybaby left, everyone broke into laughter. Duddits turned red.
"That was great, Duddits! Right on man!" yelled Werewolf enthusiastically. He wheeled over to Duddits and smacked him on the leg. Gonissa pulled him back, giggling herself.
"She’s got a thing for you, Duddits. You know that, right?" said Fenguin, eyeing Duddits. He merely looked the other direction, staring at Gerbil-X, who was smiling at him.
"Boing!" yelled Magmaniac to Duddits turned back. He didn’t even need to turn around to see what was going to happen. Two loud crashed broke out from behind him. He looked over to see Shinitenshi sprawled on the ground and Magmaniac unconscious with Shinitenshi walking stick lying next to him. He saw Protosschick panting slightly, but nonetheless looked triumphant.
"Serves you right Mag!" said Gonissa, smiling slightly.
"What about me though?" said Shinitenshi, trying weakly to get up from the ground. "Why you have to throw my walking stick, Pchicky?" Protosschick didn’t answer, but winked at Duddits, seeing him smiling.
"Ok. Let’s calm back down, folks," said Fenguin. "We have a lot to discuss now, don’t we?" They all nodded.
"Whoa, Fenguin. I have a question man," asked Duddits. Fenguin nodded to him, signaling himto go on. "Well, as far as I know, I didn’t get hurt to bad, besides from thinking I had died. How did I survive the by the way?"
"I’ll tell all of you that in a second. Continue."
"Well, why was a strapped into this deathbed?"
"You were in a coma, Duddits," said Fenguin plainly. "Well, technically you weren’t in a coma because you still were having REM sleep. It was like you were having a massive dream."
"I was. I’ll tell you all about it later though. One more question: How long was I out?"
"Well," said Fenguin looking at the symbols on electrocardiograph. "This says that you were about for nine day, twenty-three hours, and fourteen minutes." A shocked expression crossed Duddits’ face briefly and then returned back to his normal poker face. "Ok then."
Fenguin walked to the corner of the wall opposite of Duddits’ right foot. He turned and faced all of the people in the room. "I want to first thank all of you who have waited so patiently for Duddits to awaken so I can tell all of you what has happened here." He paused as the other nodded their heads or muttered something along the lines of ‘It was nothing’. Fenguin took a breath and spoke.
"As you all know, Cyberkid attacked your base back on Dreamwhyst Valley. From the outcome of the attack, it looks like he was successful. To him it is anyway. He destroyed his entire army with the blast from the atomic pie. Only his snake-vehicle, which is an engineering masterpiece if you ask me, wasn’t destroyed within the blast radius. To him, you are all dead.
"I’m really dead too," said Werewolf smiling.
"Yea, Wolf, mind explaining that one to me?" asked Mtank.
"The Dice Twice spell! Duh!" Duddits recalled the water-like spell Magmaniac cast onto Werewolf before he leapt into the line of fire. "it will repel pies! Unfortunately for me, I got his with seven pies plus one big mutha. It kinda knocked me out."
"And broke most of you leg bones, Wolf," said Gonissa, smiling.
"Ok. Fenguin, please continue," interrupted Scorch,
"Luckily for you guys, you have me on your side. Dark Elemental called me in to assist in some kind of transportation of people. I’m going to assume that’s you, but anyway. When I arrived with my ship, you all were taking some pretty heavy fire. I couldn’t risk joining the fight and having my ship detected. My shields aren't near as good as what Dark Elemental can make. Instead, I have to watch you all. You all were doing very well, if you ask me. By my estimate, you’d already killed off about a forth of his army. Congratulations to you Gonissa. By my count you’d killed over seven hundred of his soldiers by hand." Gonissa smiled at him.
"But the odds seemed to have swayed against you when Cyberkid fired the atomic pie. I knew that Cyberkid was a demented son of a bitch, but I’d never guess that he’d ever do something as crazy as destroy his entire army. I would have telaported you guys out of there sooner if I’d knew. It takes a little while for the telaporter to charge. It’s really a miracle that you guys are here today. If the telaported would have fired even a half second later, not only would you all be dead, but my ship would have been destroyed because it would have sucked in the entire blast of the pie. You guys have somebody up their watching over you, that’s for sure."
"Well, actually I really have a guardian angle who really does watch over me. I’ve met her in heaven once. She’s really sweet," said Gonissa. Fenguin just looked at her.
"You guys are really an amazing group of people, you know that," said Fenguin. "You have escaped destruction from the hands of Cyberkid four times now, you’ve seemed to have gone to heaven once too."
"You can’t forget that Werewolf and me had transformed into demons and fought Diablo in the depths of hell once," said Duddits, smiling.
"I’ve died more times than I’ve counted. I was a female for a couple months too," added Werewolf.
"You can’t forget that most half of us aren’t even human, Fenguin," said Gerbil-X. Carnage, Shapeshifter, and Protosschick nodded their heads.
"Don’t leave out the pies," added Shinitenshi.
"Slow down guys," said Fenguin. "This is a little much for one bird to take in. Now I’ve told you all about what’s just happened here. You all really need to fill me in about what’s happened these last few years. I’ve heard rumors in even the most remote places about some of things you guys have done. It’s quiet amazing." Fenguin looked left and right quickly and asked under his breath, "Did you really meet a real life Gerbst?"
***FLASHBACK***
"Duuuuddiiiitssss." It drew in a slow, but great breath of air. "You have fiiiiiinally came before," another breath of air, "meeeeeeee." With a snap the echoed from within the deepest chasms of the planet, yet came from the in front of him, trees erupted into flames. Duddits could see it. It was the oldest and most harmless sight he had ever seen. At the same time, however, he sensed a power greater than he had ever felt. It was one of the Gerbsts, the most ancient ancestor of the gerbils today. This one, however, was different. This one, Duddits knew of only by knowledge, and no more than rumors at that, gained from his time in hell. This one was the First.
Acre's of deep canyon like wrinkles and cracked blazed over the animal's, though it would be insulted to have been given such a title, light gray skin. Hair hadn't been evolved yet, Duddits guessed. It was larger the even the largest of Sequoia tree had ever been on Earth. By the looks of it, it was totally immobile. It needed not to move, however. It's gerbils tended to it's every will, for he possessed an unnatural, vast power within him for controlling the gerbils, and controlling things telekinetically. Duddits' mouth would have hung open, but a gerbil might have found it's way inside.
***FLASHBACK***
"Wow," said Fenguin with his mouth hanging open much like Duddits would have that night long ago. His eyes were big and glossy like a child tearing through the presents by the Christmas tree of which he had waited to open for so long to open. "Well, you do know that you have to tell me what has happened during the three Pie Wars." The members of PLF spent the next two days telling Fenguin about the Pie Wars. Sometime in between the rest breaks and meals, Pie-X brought the kids in and they had a blast listening to the tall tales of the two young pies. Dark Elemental stopped in once or twice and added his part of the story. Dark Elemental didn’t speak much besides that. He was still in disbelief that his ship was totally destroyed. Fenguin didn’t go to sleep once while everybody was telling his or her story.
---
Duddits had just finished eating his supper the next day. He decided to walk off the extremely large meal he had just eaten. Though it wasn’t the best he’d ever had, it was much better than the small bits of rabbit food and scrawny game that he had been eating with PLF the last four years on Dreamwhyst Valley.
Fenguin’s ship, which Duddits has found out was named The Southern Legacy, was an immense ship. He had been walking around the ship ever since the doctor, Geno, had cleared him for walking. Since then, Duddits hadn’t even covered a forth of the ship.
Right now, Duddits is checking out a strange hybrid of a machine. It had a large, shiny blue outer shell. Black tubes jutted out of the joints on it and hydraulic pipes served as its mechanical muscles. A long jagged spike protruded out of the machine’s right arm, next to one of its dual arm turrets. It was crouching down on its legs like the rear on a dog would. From what he could tell, it looked like some cross between a Terran Goliath and a penguin. Pengoliath, maybe? A grin actually crossed his face. He’d been feeling good since he had met Fenguin three days ago.
He had met Fenguin during the Great War before Pie Wars 1 broke out. They had bunked together in boot camp and stuck together in basic training as well. Duddits and Fenguin cared for each other as the best of best friends and looked out for each other, though it was Duddits sticking up for Fenguin mostly since he was normally the butt of most jokes or pranks. They both fought in their first major battle together and got their first kills together. They were brothers separated only by blood.
One day during a routine reconnaissance mission, Duddits and Fenguin got lost. They were in the depths of a rainforest when some kind of treacherous monsoon swept in. Duddits would have died if it wasn’t for Fenguin helping to keep Duddits afloat, as Fenguin was a better swimmer than any human being alive, bar none. In the end though, Fenguin grew exhausted and eventually gave out. Duddits was barely able to save himself; he couldn’t have saved Fenguin if he had tried.
Duddits stood lost in though while a pair of footsteps approached him. It almost made Duddits jump when the black-and-white arm grabbed his shoulder.
"Wow, that’s a first. I’ve never dreamt that I could catch you off guard, Duddits," said Fenguin, smiling that wacky smile.
"It will be you last, Fenguin," said Duddits, smiling back. Duddits studied Fenguin’s face while Fenguin did the same back.
"I see that you’ve found my latest creation; my foot soldier," said Fenguin, pointing to the penguin-machine. "I call them Pengoliaths. They can be manned, controlled remotely, or set on autopilot. It has the latest in battlefield tactics and the best battle AI on the market," said Fenguin proudly.
Haha! I got the name right. "Oh, really, Fenguin?" said Duddits. His smile took on a malicious quality and his eyes gleamed like fire. "I’ll bet that it still couldn’t stand up to the real thing."
"You’re on, Duddits," said Fenguin, accepting Duddits’ subtle hint of a challenge. He pressed a symbol on the side of the Pengoliath and the glass top that covered the cockpit popped open. Fenguin tried to jump up inside the machine, but fumbled in his handhold and fell down.
"Shusht up," said Fenguin, slurring slightly in his agitation, his old Georgian accent coming back. He jumped up again and landed squarely in the seat of the cockpit this time. He pressed a few more buttons on the control panel inside. The cockpit’s top closed itself again and some kind of headset fitted itself on Fenguin’s head. The Pengoliath stood up, its legs metal legs bent backwards at the hinge that served as knees. It stood nearly nine feet tall, dwarfing Duddits.
"Pengoliath ready," said a deep emotionless voice.
Fenguin’s voice came over the intercom. "Having second thoughts yet, Duddits?" ask Fenguin. He raised one of its large metal arms. The machine gun barrel right in Duddits’ face, he fired the turret on safety. The barrel whizzed around in a high-pitched scream, shooting hot air rather than 50-caliber armor piercing rounds and white-hot tracer shots into Duddits’ face.
"Do I ever?" said Duddits. He patted his holstered .45 and gave a loud laugh. Fenguin joined in with him over the intercom. The Pengoliath walked forward with great crashing metallic thuds. Hydraulics throughout the entire machine hissed loudly. It walked into the middle of the large hallway that Duddits and Fenguin were in. Duddits followed the Pengoliath’s great strides to the middle of the corridor then parted. He walked about thirty feet away from the it and stopped. He turned and faced the intimidating machine, its shadow pressing upon Duddits in the florescent light.
"You ready?" asked Fenguin. Duddits nodded. He held his hand still as stone just scare inches away from the handle of his gun.
"One," growled Duddits through his cracked lips. His eyes narrowed, staring with a fixed gaze at Fenguin through the tinted glass.
"Two," said Fenguin through the intercom. Inside the cockpit, his fingers twitched rapidly next to the trigger on the dual joysticks that operated torso and arm movement, as well as controlling the dual land-to-air missiles on its back and its dual arm turrets.
Neither of them said the third number. Instead, they mowed each other down in their respective gaze. They studied each other sharply, each waiting for the other to flinch.
"Three!" said Fenguin, breaking the silence. In a near flash of lightning, Duddits drew his .45 and fired all fifteen shots (fourteen to a clip, one in the chamber) into the cockpit of the Pengoliath. Smoke and the stench of spent gunpowder radiated from the barrel of Duddits’ gun. At the end of it, a faint hint of cherry red metal could be seen. Duddits drew in a sharp breath. He hadn’t breathed since they had locked into a death-gaze.
Over the intercom, Fenguin laughed. "Sorry Duddits, but you’ll have to do better than that. This isn’t normal glass. This is synthetic diamond." It was true. Duddits’ pinpoint accuracy saw to it that each round struck the same spot on the cockpit, yet not even a faint mark appeared on the gleaming glass.
"I expected nonetheless from you Fenguin. You don’ think I really would try to kill you, would you?" said Duddits, sarcastically. He was joking around however.
"Never," said Fenguin back, playing along with the inside joke. "Think fast!" Fenguin raised the Pengoliaths arms in a liquid motion and fixed the turret on Duddits. The barrel whined briefly, giving Duddits barely enough time to sidestep and break into a run for the wall. The blare of machine gunfire filled the room. Ricochets whined around the hallway. A trail of bullet marks in the mere steel floor followed on the heel of Duddits.
Duddits run up to the wall and leaped for particularly large metal pipe along the wall. He made contact with the pipe and jumped in a corkscrew back flip off it. Duddits watched the trail of gunfire lace the wall where he had been moments earlier. Duddits landed on his feet in a crouched position facing the opposite wall.
He sprinted to the Pengoliath, reaching into the back of his belt for another clip and reloaded his .45. Duddits took aim at one of the tubes near the reverse knees. Just then, Fenguin swung down the spiked right arm at Duddits, painting a faint line of red across Duddits left arm. He stopped in his tracks and turned for the wall again. The other turret started up, firing at Duddits.
Bullet holes ripped across the faded metal in two different rows as Duddits raced towards the wall. The left turret suddenly changed course to in front of the right turret. Duddits leaped for the wall again, not seeing the second turret change of course. He jumped up again and preformed another corkscrew back flip off the wall. Like before, Duddits watched the gunfire rip open the wall. Out of the corner of his eyes, he spotted the second trail of bullet holes racing towards him like a shark fin slicing the water to a helpless surfer.
Duddits ducked under the wave of bullets from the right arm when the new second wave of bullets ripped across the ground right behind where he was standing. A blazing tracer round from the first arm whizzed above his head, singeing his hair. He raced once more towards the Pengoliath.
"Hold still you!" yelled Fenguin. Duddits laughed loudly and took aim at a tube in the left arm of the Pengoliath. Four shots he fired, bursting open the thick black tubing. Hydraulic oil spewed out of the mechanical wound. Fenguin howled in rage. The left arms turret still blazing, the arm fell to the Pengoliath’s side. Fenguin let off of the trigger on the left turret. It ceased firing and whined like a siren, slowly stopping.
Duddits was right on top of the Pengoliath when he leaped up, grabbing onto a steel handhold on its chest. Duddits stuck his .45 into a crack in its outer shell and fired randomly, emptying the gun. He ejected the clip inside the Pengoliath, where is rattled downwards in it’s hull.
Fenguin jerked the Pengoliath’s torso sideways sharply, sending Duddits clattering to the ground. In one giant stride, the Pengoliath walked over to Duddits and slammed the spike down into the floor, narrowly missing Duddits abdomen. Duddits rolled to the side quickly to avoid a metal cable severed from one of Duddits previous shots from slamming into him, all the while, managing to pull another clip from his belt and reload it. Fenguin yelled over the intercom as the Pengoliath struggled to pull the spike from the ground.
Using this opportunity, Duddits raced to the back of the Pengoliath and located the two large tubes that ran on through both knees of the machine, taking aim. "Hey Fenguin! Looks like I wi-" In a loud groan of steel on steel, the Pengoliath ripped the spike free from the ground an leaped upwards. The torso swiveled in mid-air, swing both arms around and letting Fenguin take aim with the only functioning arm he had. Duddits heard the top of the cockpit slam against the ceiling before gunfire ripped through the air again.
Duddits ran from the bullets like one of the metal duck targets that move across a long piece of card board painted to look like a pond that Duddits used to shoot at for a prize at the fair when he was younger. Sparks flew in the air with the sound of bullets punching into the steel or the occasional sound of a ricochet. Duddits raced towards the wall one final time. He had a plan.
The Pengoliath came crashing down to the ground with a deafening roar that silenced the gunfire temporarily at the same time Duddits leaped up against the wall. He leaped back off the wall traveling backwards from the wall in a spiral. In an all or nothing attempt to take down the monster of metal, Duddits crashed into the ground on his stomach sliding forward. Gun raised, bullets trailing behind him, he aimed to the center of the blazing gun turret and fired.
A great flash of white light and sparks flew through the air as the bullet rebounded again and again within the spinning tube. Duddits fired twice more at the two tubes in its arm: one connected its elbow and one on its shoulder. The barrage of bullets from the Pengoliath whizzing towards his groin faster than he could slide now, Duddits fired thrice more. The first hit a hydraulic pipe at where the machine’s belt line would be. The other two aimed for the two tubes at each knee that he was aiming for earlier. This happened in one blaze of gunfire to Fenguin, all in less than the time that it took him to blink.
The bullets all hit their targets with in milliseconds or less of each other. The round fired into the barrel connected with the large chamber filled with the remaining turret’s ammo. It blasted apart the turret and the Pengoliath’s lower arm in a blinding flash of light that shot metal across the room. The large spike flew off and landed mere inches from Duddits’ head. The shots fired at the tubes burst black hydraulic fluid into the air. Less than a second after impact and combined with the force of its arm exploding, the Pengoliath collapsed and fell backwards into a heap of useless metal.
Duddits came to a sliding halt in a mixture of blasted steel and oil. His breath came and short bursts each time filled with the stink of the battle. Duddits’ hearing was reduced to a muffled quality with a sharp ringing in his ears. He didn’t here the cockpit open up or the smack of fins on the oily floor.
Fenguin took a few steps forward and turned to examine his ruined piece of death. Bullet smudge marks littered the other body from when the ammo in its arm fired.
"Wow, Duddits," said Fenguin slightly annoyed. "You could have taken it easy on me. These machines are not cheap, ya know."
"I did take it easy on you, Fenguin. If you’d try to kill me any harder, then I’d have to get nasty," said Duddits. His voice was serious and he had a dead-pan expression on his face. Still, Fenguin broke into laughter with Duddits following.
"OH MY GOD! What in GOD’S NAME are you to doing?!" Gonissa had just turned the corner at the end of the hallway and was walking briskly towards them, her steps echoing off of the wall. "Do you two have any idea what you almost did?!" They both looked at her stupidly, causing her to scoff extremely loudly. "YOU NEARLY TOOK EVERYONES’ HEAD OFF WHO WAS EATING SUPPER!"
Duddits looked downwards into a large group of concentrated bullet holes. He could see figures running around quickly in chaos. The mess hall was in ruins. Chipped pieces of tile lay everywhere. Wooden tables or chair were in splinters. Their metal counterparts had holes shot through them. Spite this, Duddits snorted with laughter, Fenguin following in with him again.
"Oh my God, you all are hopeless."

Those who hadn’t heard the battle on the ship were the people in the medical wing of the ship. That section of the building had a sound dampening force field surrounding it.
"So, Doc, how’s my legs doing?" asked Werewolf. He had his white cast split in half and lying on a medical bed next to him. The doctor was poking and prodding at his leg with various instruments.
"It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen," said Geno. Geno was a young man I his late twenties. He had short brown hair that was spiky and deep brown eyes that could charm a cobra. Unlike the image of a very large man that the white lab coat gave off, Geno was quite scrawny with small shoulders and spindly legs. "You legs are totally healed. I don’t understand it myself. Upon my first examination, you should have been crippled for life. That was just last two week ago too," said Geno, awe struck.
"Well, I am a Werewolf ya know." Werewolf smiled a toothy grin and extended his claws briefly.
"You are? I’ve never heard of them before. Can you tell me what you are, exactly?" Many of Geno’s friends and colleagues considered him to be one of the most curious of men in the universe. They held him with the highest regard, however, as it was him who single handily came up with a cure for cancer on his old backwards home world at the age of twelve. Fenguin had paid quite a large some of money for the doctor.
"Well, I really don’ know how to explain it. Ya see, I’ve never really had a true family. Werewolves live for almost an ageless life. I myself had lived for centuries beyond the measure of time. Werewolves can only be killed with a silver bullet to the heart. You see this form that I’m in now? It is nothing compared to what I am when the light of a full moon hits me. I am considered to be the deadliest being alive."
Geno looked in awe at Werewolf, who was now puffing up his chest proudly. Just then, Protosschick walked in from behind a thin white curtain.
"Lolz. Geno, don’ believe a thing that lil’ boy says," said Protosschick. She made a slight gesture with her staff and Werewolf’s lips froze shut.
"Mmmm mm mmm m mmmm!" came the muffled voice. Geno looked stupefied for a moment, then burst out laughing.
"You know, he really had me going there for a second. Live for ever and can only be killed by silver? C’mon, give me a break. That isn’t medically possible." Geno shook his head to himself and chuckled slightly.
"He wasn’t kiddin’ bout that part though, Geno," said Protosschick again, less humorously however. "He was just messin’ bout the part where he has lived forever. Man, he’s only about thirty-four and that young for a werewolf like him. He probably just doesn’t remember his family, that crackhead." The look of naiveté on Geno’s face was priceless.
Werewolf broke the ice on his lips. "Thanks a lot PC! Ruined all my fun!" He put a sulky face on, to which Protosschick burst into laughter at.
"You all are very strange. Yes, very," said Geno.
An alarm blared throughout the ship.
---
Duddits, Fenguin and Gonissa reached the bridge of the ship to find everything in chaos. Thick electrical wires hung from the ceiling and various machines around the room, severed. The three large monitors were shattered, their razor-like shards glimmering under the florescent light. And dim light it was, at that, for all but a single had been shattered. Black leather chairs, along with the large black and white striped commanders chair in the center of the room belonging to Fenguin, had great slash markings in them.
The crew was dead. Their bodies lay in their own pools of crimson blood. All but a few had their throats slit. The rest body’s had been hewn apart. Severed limbs lay on the floor as common as twigs on the floor of an ancient forest.
The trios were left speechless. Duddits looked around the room, eyes at a squint, face stony. Gonissa was doing the same as Duddits except for having her mouth open slightly. Fenguin only stared at his webbed feet, opening and closing slightly.
Some of the others were rushing into the room now. Protosschick let out a yell when the hologram-field door opened up. Werewolf followed her, but entered at a run. He slipped on some unfortunate crewmember’s separated finger and tumbled to the ground, sliding across the room, turning his hairy limbs and cloths the same red as the ground.
"Somebo-" Fenguin started to say in a weak voice. He cleared his throat. "Somebody get Geno and the med. team in here," come a much cleared, stronger voice from Fenguin. Protosschick skipped over to the torn up intercom, pressed a button and spoke to a sparking speaker that was half ripped apart.
"Medic people, get to da bridge now, guys!"
Duddits spotted a single person’s chest rising and falling in slight and infrequent rounds. He took off for the bloodied body, nearly skidding into Werewolf, who was just rising.
He came down on the person, nearly grabbing their neck to check for a pulse. A faint whisper of a heartbeat came through. He read the nametag on the person’s uniform.
2nd Junior Weapons Engineer
Link
"Link! Link, can you hear me?" yelled Duddits at the person. He, or at least Duddits thought it was a he as its body had taken a particularly nasty frenzy of slashes, grunted slightly. "Link, what the hell happened here?! Who did this?!" No reply. "LINK!" Duddits yelled in his deepest, most intimidating voice. Gerbil-X flinched slightly at this, as he just entered the room. Link half-assed opened his eyes to Duddits.
Horror spread across his face. "What is it, Link?" asked Duddits again. The horrified look deepened into pure terror and Link flinched as if trying to squirm away. Duddits noticed severed pieces of muscle flap wildly in his arms and torso. Just then, Duddits caught it. He leapt away from Link quickly, narrowly avoiding a sword slash where his neck had been half a second earlier. Link was sliced open again at his neck. His head flew off his a great bloody spurt.
A figure materialized in front of him. It wore a skintight black suit with various objects tucked away into pockets or in pouches. He noted six very sharp looking throwing stars strapped across the nook of its back. There were two sets of three throwing knives strapped on its thighs like Gonissa. It held a samurai styled blade in his hands, scrapping across the ground at near Link’s severed neck. It glowed his an unholy white light, stained with the blood of the crew.
Its face. Oh, its face! How horrid the creature’s face was. It’s skin was a pale shade of tan on its elongated head. Tentacle-like appendages not unlike the tubing on the Pengoliath hung from its head like horrid locks of hair. A deep but thin dent separated the creature’s face. Its eyes had an almost rotten quality. Slimy by the look, the eyes were pitch black like the hollows of the universe but without the normal gleam of light.
It held still in concentration, not flinching even a single muscle. Then disappeared again in an audible blink.
Everybody in the room stood stone still; flabbergasted. Nobody moved in action. Nobody gave thought was what the creature might be doing.
"Yo! Get movin’ and kill it!" said Protosschick finally. With that, the room burst into a hall of movement and noise. Protosschick shot a barrage of sickly ice spikes at where the figure once was and was followed quickly but a shower of spikes from Shapeshifter. In a motion just as quick as the bullet from which would soon be discharged, Duddits drew and fired. Werewolf held his hands in front of his and forced the claws at the end of his fingers to lengthen to miniature daggers. He leapt for the air in front of Duddits. Carnage and Gerbil-X followed Gonissa charging with her mace held behind her with two hands in a striking position. Gerbil-X was weaponless, but anyone who had ever seen the mutant in battle knew better than to think he needed one. Carnage has his forearms morphed into blades.
The bullets, ice and spikes clanged against the shattered monitor and blasted the terminals around it apart. Werewolf fell right into a mass of air instead of the figure he was aiming at. Gonissa, Gerbil-X and Carnage made an attempt to stop before crashing into Werewolf but instead slid through the blood and clattered on top of him. No one had touched the monster.
Duddits still had yet to get onto his feet, lying on the small of his back, legs sprawled in front of him. He was the first to notice a trail of red markings on the ceiling. "It’s on the ceiling!" Duddits reloaded in a fluid motion, sending the clip clattering to the bloodied floor along with spent bullet cartridges, and fired the gun towards the closest pair of Red marks. Shapeshifter aimed his spikes to the ceiling. With each spike came a wave of sparks from the ceiling. Carnage morphed his arms did the same. It looked like raining fire. Werewolf leapt wildly into the air, slashing madly. Gonissa was on Gerbil-X’s shoulders and they both were spinning madly around with Gonissa holding the mace extended.
Yet again, no traces of it.
"Maybe we got it," said a hopeful Werewolf. At the mark of his words, a throwing knife sped from nowhere to Carnage’s face. Moving like lightning, the symbiote’s arms quivered madly with raging masses of red and black tentacles, morphing back into the pair of blades. He slashed at the knife that was traveling just quicker than a drunken fly, from his perspective anyway, and sliced it evenly into four pieces. The clattered forwards, hitting with wet smacks into the symbiote’s flesh.
The room echoed madly from the sudden burst of projectiles aimed at wherever the shooter though the creature was. Protosschick slammed her staff into the steel floor with a mad crack of expanding air.
"Hold up!" she yelled at everyone. They all looked at her, no one speaking. All of the muscles in the Protoss body of Protosschick tensed up. Large veins protruded at seemingly odd places to the humans in the room. A faint mist hung around her staff. And then, the sounds started. It was everything at once to the people in the room. All of their emotions at the same time in all of their heads. Memories of the dead, of their once loved, of fallen friends broke into their minds. Cries abruptly spilt into the air from some corner of the room from seemingly nowhere. However, everyone else in the room was stupefied from the mental onslaught to act. Then two throwing knives cut through the air speeding towards Protosschick.
"Now!" she yelled. The silent noise stopped, but instead was replaced with a icy whoosh. Protosschick stood in place, staring at the knives speeding towards her face. The magic of the Anarctic imbued to her raged from inside her body. With the knives not even inches from her face, a frost nova burst from her body. Perfect ringed waves of liquid ice spread evenly through out the room, freezing everything but what Protosschick choose not to: the members of PLF. A glove of icy blue ice coated the room. Sticking to the ceiling next to a severed wire hanging from the ceiling was a perfect ice sculpture of the creature.
"Kill that motha fuc-," the rest of Duddits sentence was silenced by both his own gunshots and the others.
The scene following had the perfect surrealism of a dream.
A haze of smoke and discharged gunpowder flew from Duddits’ gun barrels. The flash of another bullet flying out of the perfectly round barrel towards the figure heated the air in front of the gun so much so that the small particles of ice mist transformed liquid before his eyes and fell to the floor.
The fur on both Gerbil-X’s and Werewolf’s body waned slightly with the breeze of the bullets flying narrowly past them. Followed by the bullets were a hail of spikes from both Carnage and Shapeshifter.
The form of Shapeshifter’s spikes was perfect. Long cylinders of silver transitioning to a pinpoint tip in a smooth flow of solid liquid that made up Shapeshifter. Gerbil-X observed the distorted reflection of himself in one of these spikes.
Carnage’s spikes, one the other hand, were much smaller than Shapeshifter’s. They were like larger version of sewing needles tearing through the air. They were traveling so fast that the imperfect spikes shot from Carnage’s arms reached terminal velocity quickly and disintegrated in the air.
Duddits precision aim had guided the bullets to a path directly strait for the creature’s head. Yet just before the first bullet was to strike its head and tear way into the hollow of its skull, a giant spider web crack crisscrossed the figure. A sound that resembled ripping broke the air above the gunfire. The creature came crashing down out of its icy shell. No one in the room saw the movement, as the creature’s speed seemed to defy all laws of physics and actually move faster than that of light. The creature reached at the small of its back. It pulled all six throwing stars out, grasping them in between its fingers, and hurled them at everyone but Fenguin and Gerbil-X, due to that lack of an extra two stars. They sped for each person with pinpoint accuracy. The creature then dropped down to the ground on all fours with the spikes and bullets smashing the shards of ice above him. Powder resembling snow coated him.
The stars hit all of their intended targets squarely in the chest. The star aimed for Shapeshifter actually passed through his body and struck the lifeless corpse of a technician grinning wickedly up at the battle scene, throat efficiently slit. Sonic vibrations from the extreme speed of the stars rippled through the air, sending Carnage and Shapeshifter into mad quivers of agony. They each collapsed to the ground one by one in the order that the star hit them: Werewolf, Gonissa, Carnage, Duddits, Shapeshifter, and lastly Protosschick.
It was like reliving through the Truth again. Had their lives really ended this time? Was this how they were meant to die? Clutching their chests, blood pouring through their hands?
The creature smiled wicked, and a putrid scene that was. It drew is sword from a shealth on it’s back, the razor edge gleaming wickedly. It had the blade’s wicked tip pointed towards Gerbil-X, who was facing the opposite direction staring at his fallen comrades. Leaping off his front foot, he damn near flew towards Gerbil-X. It pierced the muscular wall of Gerbil-X’s back. The mutant gerbil looked downwards to see a crimson tip extruding from his chest. A sickening squish came as the tempered steel, or what ever hellish alloy the blade was made of, was pulled from Gerbil-X. To confirm its kill, the creature moved in a lightning flash, creating and X pattern crimson tattoo on gerbil’s back flesh. He collapsed with a heavy thud.
There before him stood Shinitenshi with Geno and a group of medic behind him. Hatred burned in the lifeless pupilless blank stone of eyes in the creature’s face. Shinitenshi, eldest of all on the ship, moved like wind across a grassy plain. He drew not a weapon, but a cross, a crucifix from his blue cloak.
"Leave you vile spawn from hell! Go back to the whore you crawled out of! Leave, sacrilegious monkey shit flingery!" commanded Shinitenshi in an angelic voice purer than the crystalline tiles of ice they stood on. The creature skin sizzled at the sight of the crucifix. It burst into a flame made from only absolute evil. Before it totally disintegrated, it made eye contact with Pie-C, who was being held in Pie-X’s arms. She just arrived to the slaughterhouse. They both smiled wickedly to themselves. In a howl that pierced even the depths of the medical wing with their sound dampening fields, the creature screeched and smoldered down to ash. A gust of wind coming from seemingly no where brushed it across the floor and into oblivion.
The people conscious enough to witness this act, stood speechless, examining the dead or dying.
"Geno, tell me you can help them," ask Shinitenshi, still grasping the crucifix in his sweaty palm, in no more than the hint of a whisper. Geno, now looking infinitely older under the poor light, nodded his head slowly. He raced over to the bodies of the recently fallen and bid the medical staff to help him. They each swarmed to the still bleeding people and began to inject them with some kind of amber substance. They each moaned slightly at the pinprick of the needle.
"Fen-uhhh- Fen-fen-fengy?" stammered the young Pie-A. Fenguin looked down to the pie inquisitively. The pie pointed to the shattered but still intact monitor to the side of the room. It showed a large round ball increasing rapidly in size coming towards them. A planet. Panic filled Fenguin as he raced towards a beaten control panel. A series of rapid button click caused Fenguin’s voice to be amplified over the intercom throughout the ship.
"Brace for impact!"

He's got cut up pretty bad from that one pie. Plus, I can't have all of the charactors in that one room, can I? Don' worry, he'll be back, along with Mtank, Mag and more of the Pies.

OK... Maybe you all misinterpreted that. I am continuing on with my story in Part 4 of PWSP: The Calling. Maybe not, and I am the one mistaken.
Anyway, Mtank, I do have a role for your charactor to play in the futre here. One thing you have to remember though, Wolf, Nissa, G-X, Pie-X, Duddits, Mag and SS are from the first pie wars. PC and Scorch are from the second. You came in in the third man, so you are a bit of a new charactor, and a charactor I've never really typed much.
Whoosaaa... and I am going to sleep now.

Bangon went back to his own homeworld.... Actually, I totally forgot about him, but since he was in QfD originally, we're not going to worry much.

Just a title. It refered to the 2 hours I spent thinking it up in study hall.
Anyway, be patient. I completly filled out my original notebook with the PW and have started another. As soon as I get -extended- time to type, without being paranoid to get caught, I'll type it and get it on.

Ahem
Just a note to anyone who had an iotta of remembrance of this, it is not dead. A story is never dead till it's dead in the writer's, me, eyes. It is living with more ferocity now than it was when I was typing. Very much, this story is like a nagging itch, begging to be rubbed raw.
It is a tumor to me, as I am trying to move on to writing another story but cannot, due to this popping up.
Therfore, I come to this solution: I will never post another word of this story till I have THE END written fresh from the word processor. Not so much as not a word of the story, but not a hint of anything to come aswell or me telling how far I am to completing it.
This was suggested to me by a friend of mine and, frankly (who the hell came up with that?), I like it. That is all.
In the mean time, occupy yourself with listening to 3 Days Grace's song, Just Like You.
