Screen Resolution Problems

I am having problems with the SC screen resolution. Whenever I run Starcraft it shows up as a small square in the middle of the screen. Is there any way to fix this? I know a few other people that have this same problem and they have not been able to fix it.

It sounds like you're playing on a laptop?

It's just the way some monitors and video cards have to work, there's nothing you can really do without upgrading your hardware.

It's probably due to the screen size not changing or being able to change to a 640x480 resolution. Try changing your desktop resolution to 640x480 and see if you have this problem. And if you don't, try running starcraft while the desktop is in 640x480.

If you are in fact playing on a laptop try pressing the Fn-F7 combination. If it is a flat panel LCD desktop monitor, use the monitor's on-screen menu to choose 'Autosize' or something like that. On my Dell 1800FP I can set 'Actual Size' which draws the 640x480 gamescreen in the middle of the screen and it's quite tiny.

Just use there screen seting on the bottom of your monitor.
