I have been playing around with the mail command (/mail joeuser [message]) and have figured out that typing /options fm allows all users in friends list to send you mail.

That was the easy part for me. I cannot figure out how to then read these messages. So if joeuser sent a message to me. I dont know the command to then read this message.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

P.S. It does not just show up.

I have no idea what you are on about wiht the /mail command. Unless /mail is just another command for messanging on b.net. Or there could be some linked service that allows you to send text messages as emails to accounts that have registerd an address.

Meh trying to be helpful, trying to contemplate...

http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=aInformation0761p1 = A Blizzard site on the whole mail feature.

I think that since you all are e-mailing each other with the /mail command, you read your mail by going to the e-mail address your account is associated with.

OO fasckinating.

Not that I have botherd using the feature but I would presume threre would be a few privacy/security/legal issues with this feature?

Then again if its been around for a while and I am just out of the ring of things then meh and candy for all!

Like what? I can't think of any.

One issue might be spamming, since it's easy to hide your e-mail (just register a fake one, or someone else's). Then again, mass spamming would be pretty much impossible, so it all evens out.

No associated mail? I take it you mean e-mail.

Nowadays you have to register an e-mail address with your account, (useful if you forget your password) and I think this e-mail address is where messages go that are sent through the /mail command.
