Im not sure if this is experience so correct me if Im wrong.

I have made a DotA Discussion thread! Here you can talk with other DotA players on the WarBoards. (If there are any) Talk about your favorite characters and how you use them. Favorite types of games like deathmatch or all pick. And if there just so happens to be no one else who plays DotA here, I guess this thread will just die. :P

Ok, My favorite characters are the Sand King, Clinkzies, Razor, the Skeleton King, Stealth Assassin, Silencer, the Centaur Warchief, Zues, and the Troll guy. Great characters. I dont have any more time at the moment so Ill tell y'all the strats tomarrow. ;)

Can you tell me how to be good at DotA?? Cuz I need to know. And I tried the game, I suck royally. Also, what guy is best for beginners, and what is the site that you get the DotA downloads from? Cuz I forgot. Thanks.

Killjoy- Many people I've talked to here play melee games most of the time. Dont feel like we are ignoring your thread. I personally dont like to play Defence of the Ancients, it is a little to laggy for my sucky computer :(

Melee is better but I just like this game too. And you can go download the maps at www.dota-allstars.com it should work.

BLECH dota.... :lame: EOTA and DvsL are so much better. Just better made i dont understand why so many people play dota.

I like DotA right now mostly because i've played RT and AT too much.

I like the Vengance Spirit because i love the Magic Missle because of the damage and the Stun+Its ultimate (Swap) owns. I've killed many heroes thanks to its handy use.

I also love the Slayer, mostly because it has sooooo much damage moves and one that stuns too. Im very deadly when im at lvl 6 and higher because Slayer's ultimate seems very powerful. But that doesnt do enough damage for me so i get a Scepter and its GG.

Last of all i love the Necro'lyte because of its spell. I love the spell where he deals damage and heals allies. It has saved me and a few other people. But his lvl 6 is what makes me like him because it owns when i get a lot of damage, M-M-M-M MONSTER KILLLLLL

All DotA Characters can be "godlike".
Only if you know how to use them. It depends if you like to push or get hero kills!

ok, i play dota, and it is alot better then eota and evsl. DONT PLAY DOTA 6.0 YET!!!! it sucks alot right now, they are working on it
