I would like to make an ode to Trillian (www.ceruleanstudios.com), just the best ¤%& chat client there is.
I just got Trillian Pro v. 3 Alpha and, despite it being an alpha release, I have had excactly nil problems with it. It's just so damn cool and hip I'm talking to people just for the sake of using the damn thing. :P
The only things I have to complain about are these:
1. Did they get rid of the custom containers? Apparently not, it's still there in preferences, but it seems not to be working correctly. My windows are being contained all right, but not entirely the way I want it. Only a minor issue though.
2. Trillian looks up every word I write in Wikipedia, and underlines with a nice dotted line those that come up with matches. Great for english users, probably, but not for norwegians. It just told me one of my friends was the plural form of a geological formation on the moon. Wtf? Way to learn lots of trivia though. :P
