I am worse than kerry when it comes to W3, I am always flip-flopping. I go through moth and a half long phases where i only play melee maps, then only custom maps, does anyone else here do this sort of thing without any control over themselves?

It's allright to play both, I do (but I suck @ custom:cry:)), as long as two things are happening at the time.

1: You are keeping in touch with both games (not getting rusty at one while playing the other)

2: You're having fun ;) (Ya i know it's corny shut up)

EDIT: Oh, yeah, nice burn on Kerry too :D.

If you are only trying to entertain yourself, then it is fine if you switch between custom and melee. However, if you are trying to get better, then you should probably lay off the customs and focus more on melee (I suppose a few customs are ok). I pretty much never play customs though, because melee is all the fun I need :cool: .

I usually only play custom games. I am not very good at the regular game, but I dominate at most custom maps, Arenas in particular. I do not feel 'unbalanced' by any means.

I also usually only play custom games. Sometimes I wish I were better at melee, but customs suit me best.

I'm worse than Bush man, I ALWAYS lose EVERY FFA I play. I keep attacking random people because i'm afraid they have units of mass destruction.

But seriously, you should start on 1v1, as that's the only way you'll learn any of your weaknesses and stregnths. C'mon, I'm terrible @ any team games, but I'm good @ 1v1. By the way, I also suck @ DotA.

I never said Bush FFA'd, I said everytime I FFA'd.
Bush sucks, I hate Bush. I love bush though.

I never really liked 1v1, I much prefer team games. DotA gets extremely boring and repetitive after a while. I play Footmen Frenzy a lot right now.
