Hallo,
i want units - after they have been spawned to move to
a region, stay there and guard the region.
(I am spawning the units for "Neutral Hostile")


What happens is:
the units leave their spawn region after beeing spawned
move back one time
move to their destination location
..
after arriving their they return back to their spawn location
move to their destination location
..


A) I have a timer trigger spawning the units every minute
if the unit type total number is less than x.
B) I have a 2nd trigger moving units which enter the (spawn) region
and are of unit type and owned by Neutral Hostile to:
Move to the destination location, stay there, and guard the location.
(I tried a lot of commands like:
"unit move to", "unit move attack to", "patrol", "unit stop"
"..ignore guard..")
But nothings worked.
I hope someone can help me out.

When unit gets spawned order him to move to some region.
Then goes action Wait - Until Condition
In the condition put Unit enters region (tha region)
Then order the unit to patrol to some other region

hehe! That's it!

Thanks.
Since I changed the spawned units owner
from "neutral hostile" to "player 12" itīs working.

There is a lot to learn and to do to complete a good map.

Correct, but when u spend more time with WE, u'll get to learn it in every aspect of view.

I always use Player 12 or something like that instead Neutral Hostile, for XP gain for heroes and stuff.
It's much easier than editin Gameplay Constants, expecialy if u have high hero levels.
