My favourite weapon is either the sword or the crossbow (game of the year edition)

I heard that on the net UT original is more popular than UT03 or UT04

Since I like ripping things apart, I suppose the Flak Cannon´s my choice.

Although sometimes I like the Sniper better.

most of the weapons are the same they just look different. i prefer ut04 mainly cuz the levels are better.

Yeah, I still play UT, I dled the ut2k4 demo, but im too poor to go buy, and theres other games that id rather get (HL2, BFME)

the weapons are addaprted to different situations.

for example, an Avrail will help you VS a tank but will suck VS another men player.
Flak is good for short range fights against everything since it does very high damege, but it suck agains targets that are away from you bcuz it's bullets are slow.
laser rifle or whatever it's name (that laser sniper gun) is good against everything, vehicles, players, short range, long range, it's only disabilities are:
1. long recharge - what means it's bad for noob that miss most of the times
2. it leaves a trail that showes your location - makes you a target for enemy snipers.
sniper rifle is good to kill noobs and other campers, since they don't move a lot and it won't leave a trail showing where you are.
minigun is good for noobs, it's easy to hit the enemy with, but on the other hand it does small damege...
link gun is mostly use to heal or repair, as a weapon it's not that good, but still better than an assault rifle...
assault rifle is to keep you alive untill you find a better weapon.
bio rifle is for noobs that attack on short range - it does a big splash so it's easy to hit the enemy with, and it kills on the first hit if you're not completly unlucky and your enemy has 199 life and 150 shield...
missile launcher is good for everything, high damege, big splash, leaves only half a trail... but you need to know how to use it.

I'll stop analizing UT here (sorry shock core, redeemer, translocator, mine layer, grenade gun and vehicles...).

I think my point is clear, every weapon is good for a spacific situation, but they are definitly not the same...

you are missinterpreting me. i know that each weapon has its own use. what i meant to say is that there isnt much difference between the weapons in UT and UT2004 other than the look.

I've got both UT and UT 2003. And I like'em both. They're kinda different genres within... :)

Damn my comp is too crappy for reg unreal tourney, you can tell it really sucks just by that.

BTW: It's only a demo, so don't expect all to much.
