Is was wondering if there was a way to put a passwords on folders so when u went to open it it asks for a password.

for some reason my thread came up twice

I don't think there is in XP. There might be in 2000 however. If you really don't want anyone to find your porn I guess you could always zip it and password the zip file or use some kind of encryption program. Lemmie see if I can find one.

Cryptainer LE apparently mounts a 128 bit encrypted volume (i.e. E: or something similar) which can only be accessed with an encryption key. Not very discrete probably, but I guess it works.

actualy the thing is for my bro he just told me to try an find one but it wouldent surprize me if it was for his porn.

you could always just... use a zip program to password the zip O_o like...winrar, winzip, etc... and then I dontknow, give it the hidden attribute xP

*Lol* :rolleyes: I also did it waaay back! 'Bout 10 year ago, give or take a few...
The hidden folder within the prog folders worked much nicer, though. ;)
